Rating: Summary: RIP Friends Review: In season 5 the show begins to go downhill. Seasons one through four are outstanding and it really is a shame. All the characters start acting differently, mostly for the worse and can be very annoying. I am definetly a "Friends fanatic", and I know how different this season is from others. There's a few good episodes for sure, but overall I think my Friends obsession has ended in this season.
Rating: Summary: Starting to go downhill Review: I love this show but have to agree that this is probably the last of the great seasons. I love seeing the unseen footage. Some of the future episodes are not that great. I really wish they would have chapter selection on these DVD's. But if you really like FRIENDS you will like this collection.
Rating: Summary: The Fifth Feast Of Friends Review: Season five was somewhat of a transitional time on Friends as the Chandler/Monica thing heats up as well as the actors finally settling into their character that would continue to this day, usually a parody into themselves. Ross gets in over his head thanks to his shrewish new wife,Emily and his sandwich,Phoebe gives birth to her brother's triplets,Joey lands a role in an independent movie, and Rachel's career moves brings her up in the world, while relationships get her down. The best episodes include The One with all the Kissing,..The Hundredth Episode,..the Thanksgiving Flashbacks,...all the Resolutions,...where Everybody Finds Out,...the Ride Along, and The One in Vegas. Even with some signs of wear on the show,Friends fifth season is a lot better than most sitcoms of it's time
Rating: Summary: When it all went downhill.... Review: I don't think I'm going to buy this season. I used to consider myself a "Friends" fanatic. Ask me anything about seasons one through four and I can answer it, but something happened here in season five. Half way through, it stops being funny. I think the last great episode was "The One Where Everyone Finds Out." After that, I began to notice a change in all the characters. Chandler wasn't as funny, Monica wines and yells a lot more often(Annoying!), Ross acts more and more like child, and Joey comes off as the stupid guy who just isn't Mr. Joe Cool anymore. Each season that goes by just gets progressively worse which is sad becuase the last season I bought(season four) ended in a cliffhanger. I hate to leave it at that, but the show stopped being funny. The chemistry you grow to love between Monica and Chandler this season gets lost by the time they're married. And I don't know about you, but I'm a little sick and tired of the episodes that show clips from the past. They show up once every season from season four on. The only thing it does is remind me how great the show used to be, and how I'm watching yet another episode that proves the creators just don't have anymore ideas left in them. I'm glad the show is ending in it's tenth season, because with each new episode I lose more and more respect for my beloved "Friends". To end on a good note, I give seasons 1-4 five stars each. The classics will be be remembered. RIP "Friends", RIP.
Rating: Summary: More of the best show EVER! Review: The people @ Warner Bros. know what they're doing. With Season 5 releasing today, they've already announced Season 6 will be out January 27, 2004. Hopefully, the rest of the show will be out by early 2005!
Rating: Summary: Amazing Season! Review: This is the best season Friends has ever had. What could be sweeter than Phoebe giving birth to her brother's triplets? And what could be cuter than Chandler and Monica's hidden relationship? What is funnier than Ross' "rage"? This season holds some of the most memorbale episodes of the series. We will never forget TOW the all the Thanksgivings, and TO in Vegas. Everyone should purchase this set so they will have this wonderful season forever!
Rating: Summary: Best. Season. Ever. Review: The 5th season of Friends was by far the funniest! The funny moments in The Onw Where Everyone Finds Out outnumbers the comedic moments in most show's entire seasons! Then Phoebe gives birth to the triplets - and it switches from comedy to a sad moment when she realizes she doesn't get to keep them. This season is basically the season that 'set up' all of the current storylines in the final season! If you're a Friends fan - you need this set!
Rating: Summary: Funny, Upbeat... Happy Review: All of the friends episodes before this and up to this are hilarious.... buy this buy them all. I watch them over and over and over again...
Rating: Summary: This is my favorite season yet! Review: I love this season! it's really exciting! I can't get enough of it! As a long time friends fan, I give season 5 2 thumbs up!!
Rating: Summary: The 5th Season of Friends Review: Now, I don't know about you, but I've been a fan of Friends ever since the beginning. This is a great season...Phoebe gives birth to the triplets, Chandler and Monica's secret becomes known to the whole group after hilarious attempts to hide it, the tension of the "Ross and Rachel" relationship is finally beginning to end, but then the group goes to Vegas and Ross and Rachel get married while drunk. I don't know what you've heard, or what you think, but I think Friends is pretty much the best show out there, ranging in tons of hilarious aspects of life. The cast has been the same for 10 years now, and nobody has been replaced unlike most shows these days, and you've seen them grow and become a family. Also, NBC has been trying for 6 years to come up with a show that would live up to Friends once it was done, and they have not had that success with any of the shows they've come up with. My prediction is that once Friends is over, next fall will be NBC's lowest ratings of all time because people won't have anything to look forward to on Thursday nights at 8/7c, and I know I certainly won't be watching NBC. It just won't be the same once Friends is over! I live for Friends!
