Summary: WHAT A GREAT SHOW
Review: 5 star..No Doubt! I am a huge Cousin Stevie Fan-Reminds me of a X Rated version of Old Rodney Dangerfield

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Sometimes people should stick to what they're good at.
Review: Good things:
Boobs, Butts and Crotches
Candid, behind the scenes looks into the smut business
Occasional laughs
Cousin Stevie's relaxed attitude towards profanity

Irritating things:
The inclusion of Seymore's son Brady as a major part of his life. (He's a major part of the show's intro but not really a key player in the show itself.)
Almost every aspect seems a little forced.
The opening credits.
The music (devastatingly horrible).
The comedy stylings of the Bob and whatever Show.
Seymore's Mom
Endless self-plugging ("I'm one of the best in the industry blah blah blah")
Seymore's personality.
Very little about the actual family dynamic. (Brady's mom?, Other famly members? Friends? Anybody?)
The fact that only three people talk to the camera confessional-style.

To sum it up: The show that sounded too good to be true actually is.

I still have hope for next season. Some more attention to production and a decision on whether this is a reality show or a scripted sitcom would make vast improvements. Also the music really sucks.

Summary: a show unlike any other
Review: I can safely say that there is no other show out there like this one. You might be sick of reality shows, but this one is worth it. Hey, let's face it, most of us have seen adult entertainment at one point or another. Going behind the scenes is amazing. You get to see a director set up the scenes, you get to see how someone gets into the adult entertainment business for the first time, you get to see what the guys go through to perform, you get to see what happens between takes... you get to see it all, basically. And even better than all that, you get to see Cousin Stevie and his questionable business practices, which is by far the most hilarious part of the show.

The DVD is a bit pricey--you're only getting 8 episodes--but I'm buying it anyway.

Summary: Sexy, Cool and Funny!
Review: I loved this DVD.

If you ever wondered what the Adult Film industry (it's not pretty) was all about, this is the DVD for you. I never watch "adult" films but I was facinated by this slice of life that you never see.

Summary: The Best Showtime Series of All Time!
Review: It would have been easy (and probably expected) for a reality series on the porn industry to showcase nothing but the most shocking. While there's plenty of nudity and a few on-set scenes that pushes the limits of even pay television, this series succeeds because it allows you to see that porn is a business (almost) like any other, and the people involved can be pretty normal. Everybody is extremely likable - Adam is the hip, badly dressed drinking buddy, his mother is the caregiver concerned about her son's lack of a significant other, and Cousin Steve is the cantankerous relative who you can't help but love despite his lack of tack. Even the porn actors and actresses that frequent each episode are not the stereotypical strung-out sluts willing to be degraded for a few bucks. Instead, they're seen as fun-loving women (and men)who love their job. I'm sure some of this viewpoint is intentional on Glasser's part, but this is easily one of the most enjoyable reality tv series I've ever seen...it certainly beats the Real World, Average Joe, and those wretched Bacherlor/Bachelorette cretins.

Summary: Semi-Real Reality Series Entertains (4 1/2 stars)
Review: Let's face it -- you are interested in this DVD because you want to see naked women. Well, you will definitely get what you are looking for in the DVD set. It's unfortunate that the interest in the sexual activity overshadows how good of a show this is. The three main "characters" are fantastic. If reality shows were given awards, cousin Stevie would win for funniest person. With this more-than-a-glimpse look into the porn industry, you realize a few things: 1) a seemingly normal guy can in fact direct, produce, and star in adult films. 2) the porn business is truly a legitimate business. 3) male porn stars have to take Viagra! I was reluctant to give this DVD set 5 stars because I can't help but feel that a lot of the episodes seem a bit acted out and not completely candid. But it's the characters that keep you engaged. Adam's son (one of the cutest kids ever) helps to show Adam (Seymore Butts) in a more conventional atmosphere, or as Adam calls it, "clean time". Adam's mother, who is so sweet and so supportive, adds a lot of balance to the show. The conversation between her and a conservative new neighbor about their business was truly unforgettable. It's a shame that this series will most likely only appeal to people who enjoy porn, or at the least, people that are not offended by it because it is quite interesting and charming.

Summary: Everything you expect and more.
Review: Most of us have already seen the show on TV, that's probably what's brought you here. Of course the box includes all 10 episodes on 3 discs. On the 3rd disc are additional features like deleted scenes and interviews with the cast. I was hoping for even more deleted scenes than were on the disc, but they weren't bad. There's a music video for the opening song as well. All of the episodes can be viewed with commentary by The Jay and Tony Show. You can also view the episodes in French and Spanish. I think this is an all around good buy. I hope this info helps answer a few questions you might have.

Summary: Best show of 2003
Review: This show is the only thing on TV that kept my interest in 2003. Funny as hell.
