Summary: What about Pedro??
Review: It has been over a year since the release of the second season. Please say it ain't so. Television shows should only be released on Dvd if there is some sort of committment from the vendor to release all seasons. I fear this may have become a trend to release the first season then leave us dangling. I would like as many others to collect the entire group of seasons without becoming part of a "test group"

Summary: Fool me once, shame on you...
Review: Thanks to "Mad About You" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", I now ignore television series on DVD until the whole set is out. Turns out I save a lot of money that way, too. There's no hurry, after all. If we all started doing this, then "test ballooning" the first season of a series would not work, and they'd stop.

Summary: Not bad, but not perfect either
Review: The Mad About You: Season Two disc is out and while they have made some improvements over the first season, there are still some problems.

The Season Two set comes on three discs with 8 or so episodes per disc. Some claim that this results in improved picture quality, but I can't claim to notice this for myself.

Of the two sets that have been released, this is my favorite by far. Some of the series classic episodes are in this set, like the episode where Jamie's sister loses Murray in the park and comes back with a dog that look like him.

The discs still don't have chapter stops in the individual episodes like other televsion series that have been released on DVD. This is an annoying oversight that makes watching the series more frustrating. The audio quality is good, but this set will not stress out your sound system by any means.

In closing, if you are fan of Mad About You then you should pick this set up. There are some major flaws, but otherwise it is a good buy.

Pro's:

The release of this series on DVD
Classic episodes, like "Paul is Dead" and "The Last Scampi"
Split up on three discs
Improved picture quality, maybe...

Con's:

Still no chapter stops
Still no useful or interesting extras

Equipment Used:
Sony Playstation 2
Phillips 21" television
