Review: What's funny is I didn't even start watching this show until about 2 months ago. I caught a rerun one day and haven't stopped watching since. I bought the first season b/c I hadn't seen any of them. I really enjoyed all the episodes and being able to start from the beginning. I hope they bring all the other seasons out on dvd. I recommend this show to anyone. It's funny and dramatic. You laugh, cry and everything else.

Summary: Great Season, Bad DVD
Review: The first season of Dawsons Creek was great. Filled with the drama of these Capeside Teens, it has everything to keep you entertained. However, whoever was in charge of editing this to DVD did a screw up job. In more than one part, the dialog is totally mismatched with the characters. Its looks like a bad bruce lee movie. Also the picture is very low quality and the most grainy looking DVD I have ever seen. Only buy this if your a die hard fan, and can overlook these very annoying things.

Summary: Don't Overlook Episodes 8 and 9!
Review: Don't overlook episodes 8 (Boyfriend) and 9 (Roadtrip) on this set! There's a trick. Disc 2, and only disc 2, has two menu screens for Episode Selection. The first screen shows episodes 5-7. Then you have to highlight and hit Enter on the small right-facing arrow to get to the second screen, which offers 8-9. This has tripped up a number of people!

Summary: Recent Creek Freak
Review: Unfortunately it was just recently that I discovered Dawson's Creek, but much to my excitement and amazement, I have fallen in love. When I discovered this set on DVD, I immediately bought it and sat down for basically an entire Saturday to watch each episode for the first time. My emotions from this went from being excited and happy one minute to tearful the next moment. It truly was an experience watching the colorful characters grow throughout the first season. The only thing that I am truly disappointed about is the fact that currently no other season's are available to purchase. This set is definitely worth the $ spent on it and I look forward to purchasing all six seasons when they become available.
I also had trouble finding two episodes but then I realized you had to scroll to the next screen where the two episodes were located. Tanya

Review: This is clearly one of the best DVD's ever made, for Dawson's Creek was a great show and with this DVD you get the entire 1st for a great price. Also it is about 585 minutes worth of great TV!!

Summary: Missing 2 shows
Review: I am the biggest Dawsons Creek fan and i was so excited to get the first season dvd...but was very upset when it did not include 2 of the shows on the dvds.On the paper telling what shows there were suppose to be it showed all of them but then it skipped two when i was watching them.
I loved the ones it did show but i wanted to have the other two as well, i just thought i would let someone know about what was going on, i dont expect anything i just wanted to let you guys know.

Review: I started watching the series in the middle of its third season ever sense then I have watched every episode. These dvds are awesome they have the complete first season. I have not been able to stop watching them. I cant wait for the next season to come out.

Summary: DVD "Mishaps"
Review: Though the first season of Dawson's Creek deserves a five-star rating, no questions asked, the DVD layout and features leave the consumer wanting. For instance, the DVD is missing a "Play All Episodes" command. The user has to go back to the Main Menu after each episode ends so they can choose another to watch, instead of having the option of the episodes playing back-to-back, seamlessly. Bonus feature wise, I would have liked to have seen more: like deleted scenes, outtakes, more cast interviews and more documentary-type footage. Also, the DVD set could have easily been on 4 DVDs instead of the 3 it was squeezed onto. The picture quality is overall very crisp and clear, with an occassional grainy shot. Minor DVD design flaws aside, this set is definitly worth being a part of anyone's collection who loves excellent storylines, intriguing acting, and memorable characters.
