Summary: Felicity second season
Review: I started watching Felicity from the very first day it was aired in France. Unfortunately, because of bad ratings, the show stopped being aired after episode 4 of season 1!

You can imagine how glad I was to find out that Season 1 and season 2 were released on DVD!! I love Felicity. The writing of the show is just amazing.Everything looks so real. Her experiences to begin with, her life in college. I was myself an exchange student at UCLA for a year in the US, and even I could identify with her. Just like Felicity, I had a roomate who freaked me out for most of the times; an adorable but somewhat eccentric gay friend, girl friends to trash on boys with and a very cute love interest who wasn't mature enough to handle what we had....

Felicity is the only show in the world where you really see things happening! You don't have to wait for a million years to finally see the star couple (in this case Ben and Felicity) get together. It never looks like the writers are in shortage of ideas and are just trying to gain time. They just let their characters follow their hearts and feelings, simply grow.

Talking about season 2 more specifically, I would say that the season is very good like usual. Even though I could feel a discrepency between the first half of the season and the second half. When Felicity started dating all those B-list guys(David, Greg..) in the first half of season 2 , she started looking like those girls who cannot handle being single one second, things looked like a bit more shallow and superficial. But just a bit and luckily, the writers got back to the true Felicity after that. This episode in Felicity's life coincided with her cutting her hair. People blamed the haircut. I Blame the B-list guys...

Ben's profession of love in the end is a piece of cake, that I'll let you enjoy.

Get season 2, actually if you can, get all seasons of Felicity. It's worth it!

Summary: least favorite season of Felicity
Review: Season 2 was my least favorite season of "Felicity." While I love the show, the episodes from Season 2 are rather painful to watch...maybe because I love Noel. But anyway, I hope they release season 3-4 soon!

Summary: Some of the MUSIC CHANGED
Review: I have to say I didn't like the fact that they changed the music in the background from the scenes. I really liked that SANTANA song they played in the second episode when it was aired on The WB they replaced it with some really bad Latin instrumental music. Santana's music went with the scene and it went with the party scene. In other episodes and scenes I noticed they changed the music. I was really dissapointed that the Santana song was cut. I rather watch the recorded VHS tapes I have from The WB. I LIVE NEAR GREG GRUNGBERG (a.k.a Sean in Felicity) I will tell his wife about the music being cut and changed.

Summary: Felicity Second Season--A Winner
Review: Felicity goes through a lot of changes. Sex is becoming a lot more "comfortable" though she still wants it to mean something. Her hair is the major change. This was a pivital time for this series and true fans kept watching while others moved on because her hair didn't suit them. Whatever! Keri Russell has a wonderful way of making you feel what Felicity is going through. Her acting is not overstated but completely appropriate. I really enjoyed this set and am looking forward to year 3 and 4.

Summary: I just love Felicity!
Review: What can I say, I'm addicted to Felicity. For me, each episode is worth watching - its romantic, funny, and makes you want to watch it over and over especially when Felicity and Ben started their relationship again. My only disappointment is that they didn't use the same songs when they showed this on the air like my favorite scene when they were watching the Charlie Chaplin movie on the rooftop - the background song was "Ice Cream" by Sarah Mclachlan, they played something else instead. The special features was cute but it's really short, wish they had more. Can't wait for the season 3 & 4. Does anybody have any idea when they will release it? I just hope I don't have to wait another year for it. I just love Scott Speedman.

Summary: Ranks with the greatest television shows ever
Review: I would be hard-pressed to find any major flaws in this show. The actors are uniformly superb, the writing is amazing, and the romantic cliffhangers are as suspenseful as any in the action series "24." Keri Russell in particular is brilliant, and I hope to see her and Scott Foley and Scott Speedman in other quality projects soon.

I was first attracted to "Felicity" because of its amazing realism - no other movie or television show captured so perfectly what it was like to go to a really challenging college, or to live in the exciting choas of Manhattan, or to come of age in the 1990s. And Felicity is one of the only characters, outside of the heroine from Educating Rita, who goes to college to learn and to grow as a person ... and not just try to recreate segments from Animal House for four years.

While few men I know watch this show, I wish more did because, even though they see this show as primarily for women, it boasts some of the most interesting and respectable male characters I've seen on tv for ... ages. These men have brains and heart and strength, and are not just the stereotypical hard-bitten, racist cops and the neurotic sitcom weaklings you usually get on tv these days.

Without wanting to sound hyperbolic, I think Felicity is easily one of the best television shows ever, ranking with The Simpsons, Little House on the Prarie, Hill Street Blues, and Doctor Who as the best entertainment you can find in the medium.

Summary: if you want to own a REALLLY expensive set of coasters......
Review: This box set is the "jump the shark" of the series and features the infamous haircutting episode. The whole second season was a disaster that sent the show into a downward spiral. The show was retooled to change it from a quirky college drama into a primetime soap. Instead of rich compelling storylines about college classes and a young woman's journey of self-discovery in those four years, we got the start of the shallow will she pick Ben or Noel storyline? Felicity fornicates with the artist guy for no reason and the aforementioned infamous haircut. This was followed up with even more bizarre choices for the characters: The black chick sleeping with the professor, Ben has a kid by another girl and Julie turning into a basket case. Sean getting testicular cancer. After this the show got unwatchable and the network knew it. That's why they kept moving it around. Avoid at all costs. Get season one ans stop there.

Summary: Love the series, but...
Review: I love Felicity. I think it's a great show. The only gripe I have is that they give away WAY too much information on the back of the box and also on the back of the individual dvds. They literally tell what happens at the end of the series. This isn't a problem for me particularly (I've already seen the show on tv), but a friend of mine is watching this series for the first time. It's pretty annoying to not be able to read the back of the box or even look at the pictures for that matter. A lot of people LIKE being surprised as they watch a show and don't want to know every detail beforehand. I really think it was a mistake to share so much information. Other than that though, I think it's great to being able to watch and own this show.
