Summary: buffy alaways slays them
Review: this wasnt the best season ever but at our house we are true buffy and angel fans.so if you are a true fan youll enjoy this it most definely needs more spike because we think he is buffys true soul mate the heat and passion between them no matter how little is shown is well worth the watch. im 47 and its is great to watch no matter how old you are. you can still catch spike on angel while it last . its a great watch also!

Summary: Yay!
Review: This is by far one of the greatest seasons of Buffy. Willow, Xander, Anya, Spike, and Buffybot(from season 5), are fighting vampires - Only Willow is now in charge of the gang. Finally Willow decides to bring Buffy back from the dead with.. Of course. Magic. And the season picks up from there. The only thing I thought was discomforting, was Andrew, Johnothan, and Warren as the main villians of this season. But despite their troublesome trio, there are other great villians in this season - One of them being Willow herself in "Villians". You also get to see past characters make a guest appearance! One being "Riley Finn" in one episode in this season. All in all, I rate this 5 stars, as it deserves. Great story line, great character involvement, and all in all one great season! I can't wait for it to come out!

Summary: Rising Phoenix
Review: This is a very strange season.Buffy is dead and her friends are still trying to gather up their lives since their friends death. The season does pick up though. I like season six much more then season seven.
It has so many different surprises. They did things that I never thought they would ever do on the show. I n ever could have imagined Willow becoming so evil while in grief. This season has some of the best acting and writing. Unlike season five it isn't completely depressing and insane.
It picks up quiet a bit and tries to answer some questions. Personally I can't wait to get this set. I hope that they will do a special set for season seven and something neat for the musical episode in season six.
That would be great. I am glade that it is coming closer for this set to be out. I am very excited to get it my self.
There are some great moments in this season. I really can't wait to get it once it comes out.

Summary: An outstanding, misunderstood season
Review: I loved the first five years of Buffy too, but those disappointed that this season wasn't more of the same missed the point - the gang had conquered everythng that could possibly come its way and now faced the bigger challenge of conquering their lives. The beauty of the show was its commitment to keep growing and moving forward, and the events in this season took its characters to their darkest, most believable places - of dealing with real pain, and, like people actualyl do, acting impulsively before dealing with that. In that, the season is full of remarkable writing ("Grave" brought me to tears in at least two spots) and a level of humanity most television characters couldn't imagine approaching. And the acting! It's the show's best work out of Emma Caulfield, Amber Benson, and especially Alyson Hannigan whose move to the darkside at the end of the season is terrifying, but only because it barely masks her grief. I think it's the best work the show ever did.

Summary: This is the season that hooked me!
Review: I know many fans were upset by the sharp turn for the macabre but it was so real in that being resurected from the dead cannot be about puppies and kittens. You have to go to the gritty place. And it was of the good.I thought Spike and Buffy's sick relationship was so daring and very sexy. Seeing those bad early 20s decisions that we all made fueled by depression and a sense of floundering was nicely done and in typical Buffy fashion hyper realized just as the "high school as hell" concept that got this ball rolling. My hats off to the producers who took their perky cute monster fighter to a whole new and interesting level. They could have played it safe and kept Buffy the same but Buffy evolved. Some fans didn't like her so much anymore but you have to resepect her jourey. After you find out your sister is not your sister, your mom dies, and then you die, you aren't the same and I apreciate that ME didn't try to make it seem that way. Loved evil Willow and was sad to see Tara go. My only peeve is that Buffy should have been paid by the Council or all of her friends should have worked so that she could slay because it made no sense. All of those able bodied people in the house and she had to get a job at a fast food restaurant? I wish Season 7 had lived up to the promise of this fine season but that's a conversation for another day.

Review: I have all 5 other DVDs, they are great! They are a must have for any true Buffy fan. I watch at least 3 episodes a week. One of my favorite investments.

Summary: Oh Grow Up
Review: This was the theme of Season 6 according to Joss Whedon, and it shows through almost every episode. When it first aired I had a difficult time with the story arc. It felt as though they were out of ideas. But it turns out that this is an arc heavy season. Meaning the character development can't be seen episode by episode without the context of the whole. I was annoyed and bored by the Trio until their actions turned to murder. Then I started to see what was going on and what the show was getting at. None of the characters this season know how to let go of thier childhood, for the Trio and Willow, this leads to deadly consequences. I went from being lukewarm about Season 6 when it first aired to raving about it by it's end. It's the most difficult season to get through because it's incredibly painful and sad. Though I never warmed to the charater of Tara, her death is very moving. And Xander's crayon speech is on the money as a payoff. It's well worth the money...Go for it.

Summary: Haunted
Review: The sixth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of the darkest and hardest season to relate to. After being resurrected Buffy is haunted by her death and the harsh fact of being brought back to this world. She is distant from the gang and in a way steps out of the spotlight of the show. Ultimately, I feel this season is about Willow more than any other character. Throughout this season Willow has made a surprising advance in her magic. Not only does she bring Buffy back from the grave, she also turns Amy (a former witch who turned herself into a rat in Season 3) back into a human. However, Willows new advanced powers is not as positive as we are lead to think. Willow is quickly addicted to her own powers (magic is the metaphor for drugs through out this season) and she turns into a junkie. By the end of the season Giles has left to England, Anya reverts back to being vengeance demon, Buffy is sleeping with Spike, Dawn is feeling left out, and Xander left Anya at the alter. The gang is pretty much left in shambles, but the season finale brings an interesting twist. It also brings an end to a beloved character. While this season was one of the darkest ever, it had many highlights: "Once More With Feeling", "Two To Go", and "Grave".

Review: This season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was not bad, but a far cry from what made the show so unique in its earlier seasons. Granted the growth the characters had to grow up after season five, but the way the writers could have managed the whole situation could have been better. Althought the muscial and bad Willow episodes are fun, these positive gaps are too few and far between. I would recommend to just catch these episodes when they are in reruns.

Summary: Season 7 was the worst, in my opinion
Review: I wasn't a Buffy fan until after the show was canceled and I started watching it on FX. I intend to own three seasons of Buffy: two, three, and six. When someone goes through a traumatic event you don't go back to being just fine overnight. I thought that the fact that they went into the Scoobies dealing with real world problems like getting a loan was a breath of fresh air. We've spent the last five years seeing Buffy and everyone wearing designer clothes and having her house destroyed at least once a season. Money comes from somewhere. I liked the fact that they delt with the practical difficulties of being the Slayer and that there were some problems that you don't just stake to get rid of. That begs the question: Why doesn't the Slayer get paid? The Watchers get paid, as we learned in season 5. The Slayer should too. Anyway... People who complain about season six, get over it! In season one the story arc isn't well defined and the characters aren't developed. Season 4 has just as much dissention without the interesting character development. And in season 7 they don't even kill the Big Bad. Anyway, Kennedy is so annoying! The fact that she didn't die in the last episode is reason enough to condemn season 7. Anyway, I liked season 6. I will be adding it to my collection. People who say it's the worst probably are comparing it to season 5, which is considered the best, and season 7, which is the last anyone will have which automatically makes it better than it actually was. Don't judge it based on those criteria!
