Summary: Star Trek Voyager best Trek by far
Review: I am an avid Star Trek fan, and own all Star Trek DVD's currently available, but Star Trek Voyager is by far my favorite. I agree with a previous review that says it takes you away from your own problems. This is the best ship, best crew, best captain, best Trek Series period in my opinion. I was a huge fan of TNG, but with Voyager I can watch almost every episode over and over. They never get old.
Star Trek Voyager was not available in my area when it first aired on UPN, but I started buying the VHS tapes when they became available. We recently started getting UPN on our Cable and I have been rewatching all of the episodes- some of which I had to watch the first time on a Saturday at 1:30AM ABC station. This series holds up the best of all Treks. I have been on the edge of my seat in episodes and have found great humor in the series as well (especially Seven - the show where she was effected by multi borg consciousness including a Ferengi was great fun). If you have not see the series from the begining it is a must have. The series started strong from the start and had a few not so great episodes at the very end, but END GAME was the best!!!!

My biggest gripe is Why don't they bring voyager and it's characters to the big screen. Rick Berman said they may have another movie down the road incorporating characters from several Trek series including DSN, Voyager, and TNG. I hope so something is better than nothing. I truly miss this show!!

Summary: Voyager, The Greatest Of All Star Trek's
Review: I have watched Star Trek ever since Captain Kirk said, "Beam me up Scotty !", and I liked the Voyager series better than all of them. The story lines were more creative, captivating and original than Trek or NG. I recorded many of the episodes on video tape and have been watching them over and over. I will certainly buy the DVD collection when it comes out.

Summary: I argee with the others - Best Star Trek ever
Review: I've been watching it from the begining, and never stopped. I don't have watch time to watch TV, but I'd always watch voyager. I like how there are new aliens almost every episode, more borg, and no starfleet orders. I have taped and kept every episode, so having voyager on DVD, no commecials and extras, is almost too much to handle. I have been looking for it since TV series came out on DVD.

Summary: Set course away from home and to the Voyager DVD collection
Review: TOS was good. TNG was great. DS9 was good. Enterprise needs work. VOYAGER was astronomical. I mean talk about good television shows. My favorite has to be Janeway. Just watching her command Voyager and loving every minute of it is enough for me to watch this show. Voyager is filled with touching scenes, cool aliens, great ethical stories, chill down the spine scenes, and best of all, watching the fun relationships between the ten crewmembers. Both Kes and Seven Of Nine offer so much to the episodes they are in. Voyager definetly has the best acting in Star Trek. For any Trek fans who haven't tasted this delicacy yet, I suggest you just watch the first episode and you will be pulled into the black hole!

Summary: Let's Give Voyager Some Fame ;)
Review: I just wanted to echo the desire to see Voyager on dvd. I enjoyed all the series a ton, but Voyager most by far. I'm ready to be able to relive the adventures ;) - not to mention any extras they'd like to put on there would be great.

Summary: I LOVE VOYAGER! BEST STAR TREK EVER!!
Review: I think that Voyager is the best Star Trek series ever! TOS is good but not the best, TNG was really good, I thought it was the best until I saw Voyager. DS9 a little to calm. Enterprise is horrible!!
Great things about Voyager:
1. Finally a female captain.
2. More then one plot in each episode, making it more complicated.
3. All the characters are different. (Seven and Tuvok can be a lot alike but what can you expect from a ex-borg and a Vulcan?!?!)
4. New aliens!! At last!!
5. Morals.
6. Janeway is the perfect captain, part Picard part Sisko, part Kirk.
7. Out in the Delta quatrent no orders from Starfleet!!
8. Good character devolment. (Neelix can really get on my nerves but he is very realilistic. I know people like him, several.)

I could go on forever on how great Voyager is. They also have to only theme song in Star Trek that I don't have cover my ears when I hear.

I really think that they should make a movie on Voyager.

PLOT: If you haven't seen the 1st episode DON'T READ!
Captain Kathryn Janeway is trying to get her officer Tuvok back. Tuvok was spying on the Maquis. Pick up Tom Paris from a penal coliny in New Zealand. Can't find Tuvok. All of a sudden, they are in the Delta Quadrent. They find out that the Caretaker brought them there and also brought the Maquis ship that Tuvok was on. Meet up with a Talixian named Neelix and he makes them rescue this Ocampa girl named Kes. The Caretaker is the only person who can take them home. The Caretaker dies and Janeway blows up he's equitment to bring them home for reasons I am not going to say. She meets up with Tuvok but many of her crew have died. The captain of the Maquis ship Chackoty becomes 1st officer and B'Elanna becomes Cheif enginer. Tom Paris becomes "helm boy" and the two ships come together and go onto Voyager for one reason. To get home. Back to Earth.

I love this series and I really hope you watch it.
Live long and Prosper!

Summary: Best of Star Trek series ... waiting for DVDs
Review: Voyager is the best thing to happen to Star Trek Series. Most of the episodes are unforgetable. Enter Seven, and the series becomes even more exciting. I am eagerly waiting for all the seasons to be available on DVD. All Seven's episodes range from good to best in rating. Although sometimes the narrative becomes boring, but one cannot ask the best everytime!

Summary: Not the best, but not the worst.
Review: When it first premiered, Voyager had some promise. However, it quickly went down hill. Perhaps it suffered some because it was forced to follow the surperbly superior Deep Space Nine. The characters were uninteresting and inconsistent in their behavior. Janeway was a very unconvincing captain and the rest of the characters were all rather bland. This becomes obvious after Seven-of-Nine is introduced. Shortly after she joined the crew, the focus of the show shifted to her. She became the main character in almost every episode, while the rest of the cast were reduced to supporting roles. Out of the whole cast, the most interesting character in the show was the Doctor. And he wasn't even real.

The stories became repetitive and weak as the show progressed. There were way to many Holodeck-centric episodes. There were also quite a few episodes that involved some kind of time loop where in the end, the episode never really happened.

The villains of the week were never that much of a threat. Even the Borg, who are supposed be unstoppable, were defeated again and again by the crew of Voyager.

Overall the show started out with promise, quickly moved to almost lame, and maybe rose a little with the final episode(which wasn't great either).

Summary: Time for a Voyager DVD
Review: Like others on this site, I found Voyager to be one of my favorite Star Trek series. Captain Janeway is a very credible authority figure, unlike many over-sexed female sci fi characters who fight, kick, bite and "muscle" their way into leadership without showing much in the way of personality, finesse--or genuine womanhood. As a fifty-something career woman, I have always found ST to be a comforting world full of truly wonderful role models for girls and women who want to be more than sex kittens or grim-faced corporate warriors. It's understandable that producers would offer attractive female AND male characters (this is fantasy, after all!), but ST excels at providing additional depth of character. I've admired Beverly Crusher, Deanna Troi, and all the many other ST female stars for years.

I would like to see Voyager on DVD for many reasons, but mostly because I lost track of it on the various networks and never saw many of the final episodes. I do think the ST spinoffs would have had even more of a following if there had been consistency in programming--i.e., where to find and keep up with the shows and plot development. In fact, I think a separate Star Trek channel with offerings of movies, existing series and new spinoffs within the Star Trek universe would be highly popular with the die-hard fans of all ages. At least we would know where to go to find our favorite characters!

But for the time being, please put Voyager on DVD.
