Rating: Summary: perfect combo Review: What more could you ask for in a VCR/DVD combo? I don't know too much about technology aside from computers, and I was perfectly content with the DVD player on my computer, but the price was too sweet for a combo. I was able to set it up in under ten minutes, and use is a snap! Maybe someone with tech experience could add something about that aspect, but don't worry about it being too complicated, because this is one great combo!
Rating: Summary: Everything I wanted in a DVD/VHS Player Review: When shopping for this type of product, I hunted all websites and manufactures. I didn't want to get rid of my VHS tapes. I did my homework and picked this player and I am not disappointed with it. With a little reading in the manuals (one for the player and one for the remote) anyone can get the hang of it. Best features: Crystal clear playback on the VHS tapes (when the in/out lines are used - easy hookup). Counter set to zero for tapes. Bookmarks for the DVD. Eject for the VHS. Worst feature: Lack of programming for universal remote. Cannot program Satelite or TV to it nor can one program other remotes to the player. Buy it, you won't reget it!
Rating: Summary: I am returning this model.. Review: When you load a tape in the VCR part the tape gets stuck and it feels and looks like the unit will break. 300 bucks is a lot of money for something with such a poor design.
