Rating: Summary: You need to see this movie!!!! Review: I am the biggest fan of musicals out of all of my friends and this is at the top of my list. The dancing is extroidinary, as is the music. They don't make movies like this one any more. I highly recommend that you see it. :)
Rating: Summary: Great DVD Transfer with good 5:1 sound Review: 7B for 7B on DVD turned out great. The sound is a drastic improvement over LaserDisc or the Tape versions. There are plenty of behind the scenes features that make it worthy of purchase.
Rating: Summary: This movie is the best one in the whole world Review: I love this movie ever since I was two years old! You can't get any better movie than this one. It is something that actually keeps you awake. It also makes you feel good and forget your worries for at least two hours. I recommend this movie. You'll love it.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Superb!!! Review: Generally, I don't care for muscials, but this is an exception. This is my all-time favorite movie. I saw for the first time in college, and it has remained an enduring favorite. The songs, the dancing, the brothers...They don't make them like this anymore. For me, each viewing is like the very first-time. It is a definite must see -- don't miss it!
Rating: Summary: The greatest musical experience I've had! Review: I had never heard of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers until recently when I found out that it was selected for our 1999 school musical. Beforehand, my favorite musical was Oliver...but this one totally rips it apart. The dancing is extraordinary and the songs are extremely catchy and stay with you throughout the day. If anyone ever has the chance to do this musical production for their school or local theater, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!! What a wonderful show! TO THE CAST AND CREW OF MOHAWK AREA HIGH SCHOOL'S PRODUCTION OF 7B47B: Break a leg, guys!!
Rating: Summary: A sing-along movie Review: I'm only 16 years old and I've been a fan of this movie for as long as I can remember. I love the music, I love the plot, I love the actors, and I love pretty much everything about it! I would very HIGHLY recommend it for anyone who likes a good classic.
Rating: Summary: It was a very sentimental in a way movie. Review: I thought the movie was very sentimental and I enjoyed seeing it. The music was excellent and so were the actors and the actresses as well. 2 thumbs way up for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
Rating: Summary: One of ten best ever! Review: This is one of the greatest movies of all time. Right up there with "West Side Story," "It's a Wonderful Life," and "Meet Me in St. Louis." It's great not just as a musical, but as pure entertainment. The movie is very funny, pretty, wild, wacky, tender, energetic, and much more. The dance sequence at the barn raising is the most exhilerating and impressive movie sequence I've ever seen. This movie is a "10" (unlike Bo Derek's lame movie). My whole family loved it. The songs are catchy and propel the story forward (the real secret to a successful musical and a lesson Disney badly needs to relearn after the last several animated features--forced, uninspired songs just to fit a formula--(not including Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast))
Rating: Summary: Bless Your Beautiful Hide! Review: My wife and I discovered this movie when we were dating, and 16 years later we watch it at least once a month. If you are falling in love this is a great date movie. The dancing is the best..
Rating: Summary: A great Family movie! Review: This movie is one of our families favorite movies. We watch it often. The songs are rip-roaring. The laughably bad sets just add to the fun. This one should be up with all other movies you love. The dancing is good and although the plot is rather dumb it is still a great movie that will have you laughing all the way through. So kick up your heels and soon you'll be singing along with the Sobbin women and everyone else.
