Summary: Absolutely great movie...
Review: I watch this movie all the time. It is packed with action based on the true story of Wyatt Earp, yet it does have many added fictional details, nothing is deleted from the real story. This is a movie you will watch over and over again, and each time it makes you wish you were born one hundred and twenty years ago so you could have rode with Doc, Virgil, and Wyatt and the other great lawmen of the west. A must buy for western fans. HOO-YAH! Thank all war veterans.

Review: I enjoy watching westerns and Tombstone was the best one I have ever viewed. I would rate it a "10" over any of the other movies put out in this particular category. I wished they would produce another movie similar to this one.

IT IS THE BEST!!!!!!!

Summary: Sorry Henry Fonda
Review: But Tombstone is better. Maybe it is just because I'm in a different generation but I never understood why people thought my darling clementine was so great? Anyway, about Tombstone. Absolutely superior acting. Kurt Russell does an excellent portrayal of Wyatt Earp and no contest on Val Kilmer's Doc Holliday. Wonderfully done story. Most of the story stays true to form, some I suspect was changed to make the story work within a two hour time frame. Hands down, Tombstone is the best western done about the OK corral- And I've seen most of them!

Summary: I guess it's ok...
Review: Tombstone is a story of some of the most famous law enforcement officers -- Wyatt Earp & co. -- from the old wild west. Once they have retired, they settle into a town where the red sashed mobsters rule. As the movie progresses, the mobsters provoke Earp & co. to the point of coming out of retirement.

This movie features the famous shootout at the OK Corral, but goes far beyond that in the lives of these law men.

Before seeing this movie, I heard it was an incredible movie. Maybe I just came into it with expectations that were too high, so I would warn anyone that if they have not seen Tombstone before that they not keep their expectations too high. Otherwise, you may be as disappointed as I was.

Summary: Tombstone
Review: In my opinion the best western ever made. Val Kilmer gave the best performance of his career so far. The man acted so well, he didn't appear to be acting at all. The entire cast worked well together and the original dialoge was fresh and entertaining. If you didn't like this movie you're a sissy! Go ahead, skin that smoke wagon and see what happens! Russell gave a commanding performance as Earp, one of his best. A must have for Western fans. No other horse opera even comes close.

Summary: Live the legend
Review: If you haven't seen this one, you're missing out. This movie stands alone among westerns. Its grit keeps the actions and suspense going without being overly "dark" (like "Unforgiven"). The performances themselves are legendary. Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer deserve kudos especially. [Footnote: towards the end of the movie, Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russell) receives new recruits from someone with "lots of friends" who wears a necklace with a Masonic symbol on it--so Wyatt was able to weed out the "Cowboys" with help from the Masons?]

Summary: Justice is coming to Tombstone.
Review: A lavish historical western epic you know the name you know what he does for a living and you know what him and his lawmen did at the O.K. coral one the hugest showdowns of the first millenium is captured here when you hear Tombstone you think it just going to be the showdown and that's the end of the movie but Kurt Russel's potrayal of Wyatt Erapp is awsome as well as a strong supporting performance from Val Kilmer as his doomed drinking friend Kevin Renolds 3 hour 15 minute Wyatt Erapp is about the man and his life.Tomstone is a little over 2 hours and is more importantly about the legend of this unforgettable town and while it brings emotional depth the showdown between the Clanton's and The Erapps comes within the first half of the movie vs. Wyatts you wait almost 2 hours and 15 minutes before you get to see the showdown and furthermore it's to peaceful in Wyatt Erapp but in Tombstone because this , battle at the coral was violent Tombstone shows you that and shows you the aftermath of what happens to the lawmens familys and the tragedy and vengence it derives point put it may not be accurate as far as the rest of the movie but as far as what this gunfight looked like your not going to get much better then Tombstone it showed you everything about this battle and not trying to otherwise gloryify it the clantons didn't know who they were messing with and got no mercy in return there is a legend in Arizona and it has a name it's legend is Tombstone and in this movie it is about as accurate as you can get it with this movie the legend will live on in a good emotional and powerful western about a man and a town no cowboys should have messed with in the first place justice is coming to Tombstone and with a vengance.

Summary: I'll be your huckleberry
Review: Sorry Kurt but Val stole the show!I watched this movie so many times my wife says I'm addicted to it.Kurt does play a decent Wyatt Earp but Val Kilmer is the man in this movie as Doc Holiday. The only thing I don't like about it is the 2.35:1 screen ratio.I don't like this on any of my movies in my collection.when i bought a 32" TV,that's what i expect to see! These "half screen's" are the worst thing to happen to TV in my opinion.

Summary: It's my Huckleberry...
Review: You can't beat it. Hands down the best movie about the shoot out at the OK Corral. Val Kilmer plays one of his greatest roles as Doc Hollywood. Kurt Russell plays a much better Wyatt Earp than Kevin Costner ever did. If you've never seen it, buy it. If you have seen it, buy it. I have seen this movie fifty times, and will watch it a hundred more. I highly recommend it, especially on DVD.

Summary: one of my four favorite esterns
Review: this vastly underrated film has it all. the themes involved when decent men want to just live peaceably but cannot continually ignore vicious thugs who care for no one is timeless. this film takes it's place in my pantheon of the magnificent seven, rio bravo, and the wild bunch. enjoy!
