FMW (Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling) - Legend Dawns

Summary: Good, but could have been better
Review: This is a good DVD to get if you're interested in seeing some good FMW action, but if you already have a bunch of their tapes you're not really missing anything. Some of the wrestlers included on this DVD are Hayabusa, Masato Tanaka, Super Leather (Leatherface), Mike Awesome (The Gladiator), Matsunaga (who gets set on fire in one match, very cool!) etc. Their are a total of 9 matches on this DVD including the bonus match found in the "extras" section of the main menu. Two of the matches unfortuntely are women's matches which I just can't get entertained watching. Instead of having the women's matches, they should have put in a few matches with Onita who is absent from this DVD which doesn't make much sense to me. The english commentary on this can also get very annoying, the announcers try to act all cool and say some really stupid jokes. Anyway, pick this up if you're in the mood for some pretty good hardcore action as well as some classic high-flying action.

Review: This is an awesome tape. If you like ECW or hardcore wrestling in general then this is a must see! This tape has the Lights-Out Deathmatch between Matsunaga and Mr. Pogo, as well as Hayabusa, Mike Awesome, WING Kanemura and Masato Tanaka in many matches!

Review: This tape is great from start to finish! If you are a fan of Hayabusa than you will love this video! It is the best one of all the US commercialy released tapes! If you never heard of FMW this will be a great introduction. Try it!

Review: Well, this is the first FMW video ive ever seen, so... Was it good? It was diferent, ill give you that, but it wasn't what I expected. The wrestling was good and all, but the announcers where the weak spot in the thing... They seemed more concerned with comparing the wrestlers to american wrestler, and with talking about which one of them had worse gas..... But don't let that fool you into thinking that this thing is bad... It isn't.. Its a great video.. The DVD version has some great add ons. The Mr. Pogo match would of been awesome, if it wasn't compleatly dark... but hey it was a lights out match (I think). The 'Gladiator' (Mike Awesome) Vs. Hayabusa (Probably spelt wrong) match was awesome (no pun intended). All in all a pretty good DVD.... Good enough that I will probably buy some other FMW ones too...
