Summary: THE BEST ROYAL RUMBLE EVER!
Review: I have been a fan of the WWF since 1984, and I love and cherish each and everyone of the first 15 Wrestlemanias. Now along came two spectacular pay-per-views that did the impossible and surpassed them all. The ROYAL RUMBLE 2000 and WRESTLEMANIA 2000 are now the top BEST WWF Videos available both on Video and DVD. This Royal Rumble features a variety of unforgettable matches and moments; Tazz vs. Kurt Angle, the first ever Swimsuit Competition (ending with 80 year old Mae Young removing her top...PLEASE! NO!!!), the Hardy Boyz vs. the Dudley Boyz in a battle involving tons of broken tables, and even more not for the squeamish is the bloody feud between Triple H. and Cactus Jack. This is one is 2 by 4's wrapped in Barbed Wire, ring side steps, broken broadcast tables, and millions of thumb tacks all smeared with blood galore. Last but not least the Royal Rumble itself. This is a must for WWF Fans! I personally recommend you buy this and the WRESTLEMANIA 2000 together, and watch both as a Double Feature. I paid 50 dollars for both of these videos separate, and it was worth every penny!

Summary: Best overall Rumble in years.
Review: This was the best Royal Rumble in years, and the first of the great PPVs the WWF has put on in 2000. The Royal Rumble match had one of it's best rosters ever, plus it seemed to get back to basics, making the most enjoyable Rumble matches in years. The WWF Title match was one for the ages, with Cactus Jack battling Triple H in a 5 star classic. The Table match was full of action (as all ways with the Hardy Boyz involved), and elevated the Dudley Boyz to Superstardom. Also, The Chris Jericho vs. Chyna vs. Hardcore Holly match, and Tazz vs. Kurt Angle match, were short, but were good matches.

Summary: Back on the right track
Review: Before Royal Rumble 2000, I was begining to loose interest in the WWF. Throughout most of 99, the ppv's were pretty boring and preditable. The majority of Royal Rumble was neither boring or predictable. The introduction of Tazz was a great way to start the event. The swimsuit contest was very entertaining and the table match was spectacular. The WWF title match lived up to all of the hype beforehand. It was possibly the most hardcore match that has ever take place in the WWF. The use of thumb tacks and barbed wire is more recognised in an ECW ring. The rumble itself was a bit disappointing. After great rumbles from 97 and 98 it was a bit of a let down. never the less, it did not spoil a great PPV which renewed my interest in wrestling.

Summary: atually 4 and a half
Review: this ppv was great. The first match was kurt angle vs. tazz this match was good but awful short (7/10). The table match between the dudely boys and the hardeys was good, jeff hardy takes some memorible bumps (8/10). Then there was the bikini contest one word can describe this ugh, the contest was good but mae young was in it at the end and that was a horrible sight. Next was Jericho vs. chyna Vs. hardcore holly this match was pretty good but i expected a little more (7/10). Then the acolytes Vs. outlaws match was pretty lame and really short it lasted about 2 miniutes 4/1o. Then onto the cactus jack vs. hhh street fight for the wwf championship. THis match was definitly the best one on the card, cactus uses barbed wire, chairs, wooden palets, and of cousrse thumb tacks. I give this match 9/10 would of been 10/10 if cactus had won. Then onto the royal rumble. The only thing wrong with all rumbles are that the winners are so abvious in this case you knew it was going to be rock or big show. This rumble was good but not as good as last years. The big names dont even come out until their in the 20's range. i give this 8/10. Well if you are wanting to buy it for the rumble itself i would pass but the other matches make this one a buyable video.

Summary: Entertaining Violence
Review: This is one of the few WWF's PPV's that can prove to a doubter that wrestling, or at least parts, are real. From top to bottom, you will get your money's worth. Here are the highlights of the DVD:Kurt Angle v. Tazz: Decent match. It's entertaining for what is worth because it's short, yet sweet. Dudley Boyz v. Hardy Boys: EXCELLENT Match. These two teams come up with the most innovative ways to break tables and bones. HHH v. Cactus Jack: Definitely the money maker of the the whole DVD. A MUST-SEE for those who are entertained by blood, thumbtacks, and barbwire. Everything else is watchable, but something you wouldnt want to watch again, particularly the Royal Rumble. I recommend this to ALL wrestling fans and especially recommend this to people who doubt wrestling is real.

Summary: The WWF kicks of 2000 in style!
Review: The hype surrounding this pay-per-view was staggering, speculations of Austin, Taker, HBK and the McMahon's returning made this Royal Rumble one of the best. From the first match where Tazz makes his debut, to the stunt-filled Table match between the Dudley's and Hardy Boyz, to the classic No Holds Barred pitting Mick Foley against HHH. There are another two dud matches on the card which really are there to fill some time, then there's the 'Miss Rumble 2000' competition which is hilarious. Then we get to the Rumble it's self which is terrible. The makings of a classic Rumble (ie. Rumble '97) are when there are lots of possible people going to win it. We knew there was only really The Rock and The Big Show that were going to go to Wrestlemania (as it happens both would go on to be in the main event at WM2000), this was simply because Austin and Taker were both out with injuries. Apart from the lame Rumble itself this is an exceptional video where the WWF kicked off 2000 in style!

Summary: Easily the best PPV of 2000 and maybe the best rumble ever
Review: Leading up to this PPV I wasn't sure how good it was going to be. God was I in for a shock as this was the best PPV since WrestleMania XV and probably was better than that event. This PPV had everthing; a great Royal Rumble, a legendary match between Cactus Jack and Triple H, easily the best that the two have ever had with each other, a fabulous Ladder/Table match between the Dudley Boyz and the Hardy Boyz and much more. Everything about the PPV was great and if you buy one PPV make sure that this is it. Despite the absence of two legends, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker, this PPV was legendary. This is a must-own for a WWF fan.

Review: Before you go off purchasing this DVD just because I gave it 5 stars, I want you to know that I have never actually seen it, in it's entirety. But I have seen highlights of the Street fight Main event between: Cactus Jack and HHH, and the table match between: The Hardys and Dudleys. From what I know, I can tell you this; the kurt Angle match has our olympic hero in the ring against former ECW star Tazz, in a short but very sweet match. the Acolites VS. new Age outlaws match is pretty mutch the only complete bore on the card, since this is DVD, you can always skip it. Chyna VS. Y2J VS. Bob(Hardcore) Holly is a pretty good, technical match. Considering, it has Y2J, one of the WWF's hardest workers, you shouldn't expect a dissapointment. The already mentioned, table match between Dudleys and Hardys is a constant thrill! The Hardy's are my absolute favs, and the Dudleys should not be allowed around tables, they are suisidal! Next is something that may take therapy for you to undo, Mae Youngs PUPPIES! On to the next subject; Cactus Jack VS. HHH, street fight! In a pretty violent match, but nothing new for long time Mick Foley fans, the hardcore champion loses after several hits to the head and other parts of his body with a 2x4 rapped in BARBED WIRE, then a backdrop onto a pile of thumbtacks, followed up by a pedigree then a second pedigree onto the tacks! for the last match on the card, we have the Royal Rumble itself. In the end, Big Show attempts to throw The Rock over the top rob, but The Rock shifts there body weight ending in the Big Show going over the top, head first! Review: The WWF started off the new Millennium with a Bang, Bang (cute pun, eh?) with the Royal Rumble 2000 pay-per-view. A hugely entertaining event overall, this is surely one for the library. In a complete run-down... Tazz made his WWF debut in a short but fair opener against Kurt Angle... The Hardy Boyz took on The Dudley Boyz in a jaw-dropping Double Tables match... Mae Young won a bikini contest (which also featured Terri, The Kat, Jacqueline, Ivory, Luna and B.B.) before grossing the world out by exposing her 'puppies'... Chris Jericho tangled with Chyna and Bob Holly in a sloppy Three Way Dance for the Intercontinental title... World tag champs The New Age Outlaws faced The Acolytes in a disappointing bout... World Heavyweight champion Triple H brawled with Cactus Jack in gory, bone-bustingly brutal 'street fight'... And, finally, The Rock survived an average 30-man Royal Rumble match to earn his #1 contender spot. One of the best WWF supercards of the year, TRR 2000 is a tape that surely deserves to be in every grappling fan's collection.
