Summary: When DVDs hit Rock Bottom...
Review: There's not much I can say about the actual event that hasn't already been said, it was mediocre at best, but I can add my opinion about the actual DVD...

First off, there are NO EXTRAS...now, I'll admit, I wasn't surprised by this...Sure the WWF could have opened up the vault and given us some cool stuff leading up to Rock Bottom 1998, but they didn't and it's not the first time they released a DVD without any extras...What can you say, I guess the WWF doesn't "Get It" when it comes to making the DVD more worth buying by adding extras...

But I'm not mad about there being no extras...sure, extras are nice, but they don't have to be included...

What I am mad about is the exclusion of a MENU! How do you exclude a menu from a DVD? Isn't the menu standard? This is the only DVD (in general) I own (and I own a number of DVDs) that has no menu...And no menu means no select a match feature, which means if say you don't want to watch the whole event but rather just want to watch the buried alive match, the main event on the disc...you can't just press and button and be at the start of the match (like you can with other WWF DVDs), oh no, you have to FAST FORWARD throught the whole event...You can't even jump from chapter to chapter because the whole event is one chapter...

Basically the WWF just took the video version of Rock Bottom and transferred it over to a DVD...Very disappointing...

Take a mediocre event, mix it with no extras and NO MENU and you get a DVD worth passing up...Unless this is your favorite event in WWF history (and then I ask why?) or if you already have it on VHS and want to replace the video with a DVD, pass on this one...You'll be happy you did...

Summary: Good ppv except for one match
Review: This is a very good PPV with lots of great matches. Here are the matches:

Val Venis & The Godfather (With da HOES!!) vs. Mark Henry and D-Lo Brown (w/Terri & Jacquline)

The Oddities (Kurregan & Golga W/Luna & some other tall guy) vs. The Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher)

Owen Hart vs. Steve Blackman

The J.O.B. Squad (Al Snow, Scorpio, & Bob Holly) vs. The Brood (Edge, Christian, & Gangrel)

Goldust vs Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) in a "Strip Tease" Match (If Jarrett wins, Goldust strips, if Goldust wins, the DEBRA STRIPS!!)

Tag Team Title match: The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg & Badd Ass Billy Gunn) vs. Ken Shamrock (Intercontinential champion) & The Big Boss Man (Hardcore Champion)

WWE championship: Mankind vs The Rock (w/Vince & Shane McMahon)

The Undertaker vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin in a "Buried Alive" Match (Oh My!)

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: ROCK BOTTOM WAS GOOD BUT IT COULD HAVE BETTER.
Review: THIS IS ONE PPV WHERE ONLY ONE TITLE CHANGED HANDS THAT WAS THE TAG TEAM BELTS,GOLDUST TOOK ON J.J. WITH DEBRAS BODY ON THE LINE,YOU SAW ROCK BATTLE MANKIND I GIVE THAT MATCH A 3 STAR BUT THE SHOW WAS BETTER WHEN STONECOLD FOUGHT 'TAKER IN A BURIED ALIVE MATCH AND I WOULD GIVE THAT MATCH A 5 STAR!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good,but i would'nt say it's the best PPV.
Review: This PPV had a good card but the Rock/Mankind match could have been better.the UNDERTAKER/AUSTIN BURIED ALIVE MATCH WAS GOOD.IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS VIDEO RENT IT FIRST,WATCH IT AND THEN BUY IT.BUT THIS PPV IS BETTER THAN ANY OF THE CRAP WCW HAS TO OFFER.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It was Pretty Good
Review: This ppv was filled with very exciting matches. If you havn't seen it, I suggest you buy it right away. You even get to see Scorpio do a backflip legdrop in a match and thats move you definately dont want to miss. Bottom line- buy the tape.

Summary: Best PPV of 1998
Review: This PPV was soooooooooo tight the buried alive match was da bomb and the Mankind Vs. Rock match was there best fight ever in 1998 Debra looked so good when Shawn made her strip !:) buy this video it is so dang cool i want it so bad!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: fun to watch-not a classic, though
Review: This was a good event, but not great. some solid matches, especially Rock vs. Mankind, but the finish was a total copout. The buried alive match was a bit disappointing. Austin and 'Taker's match seemed to drag on at times...but I have to admit, Debra looked amazing!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: it was the best

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: if u r any kind of wrestling fan get this!
Review: This was a pretty good pay-per-view. The buried alive match was great with the unpredictability of austin and undertaker. the title match was ok and could have been better. The excitement surrounded the striptease match and it was pretty good. i also liked owen hart vs. steve blackman. the only bad match was headbangers vs. oddtities. i really recommend this tape.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: KICKED @$$
Review: This was also one of the best PPV's of the year, The Rock showed how full of himself he was by having banners of himself put on the entrance. The matches were also pretty good. But the best things about this PPV is the double main event. The Rock & Mankind have the best matches, and Rock Bottom was no exeption. But Stone Cold Steve Austin showed us what he was made of by fighting Undertaker in a buired alive match. It was GREAT!
