Summary: A great DVD for those "Die Hard" fans of G.L.O.W
Review: G.L.O.W (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) was a show that ran from 1986-1990 and although several attempts have been made to recreate and immitate the series there simply is nothing like the original series created by David Maclane seen on this DVD. This DVD is third in a series but is probablly the best. It contains Matches:
Spanish Red and Jungle Woman Vs. The Cheerleaders(Debbie Debutante and Susie Spirit)
Little Egypt Vs. Dementia
Colonel Ninotchka Vs. Dallas in a "Texas Bar Room Brawl"
and a "Rip Em Strip Em Streetfight" where the looser's clothes come off and the winning team receives $16,000.00 featuring:
Tina Ferrari, Ashley Cartier, The California Doll and Sally the Farmer's Daughter
Vs.
Hollywood, Vine and the Soul Patrol (Envy and Adore)
The matches are wild and unpredictable. You see Tina Ferrari stealing Jungle Woman's prized possesion "Nature Boy", Dementia bites the leg of Little Egypt and is drenched in an insane amount of blood, "Juices" are also spilled during the match between Dallas and Colonel Ninotchka and the Street Fight becomes so out of control that the owner of the Riviera Hotel and Casino shuts the lights out on the ladies and even Maclane himself gets stripped down to his skivvies!
In addition to the matches there are the musical numbers (the girls write and perform their own "Rap Style" entrance music) and crazy comedy sketches (Easy as KGB, Tips from Tina, The Spanish Kitchen, Dr's Fiel and Grope, the Farmer's Daughter's Letters Home, Asking Ashley, Points to Ponder with the California Doll, Satanic Rites with the Princess of Darkness, the Courtship of David Maclane, a "Dream" segment featuring Mountain Fiji and Susie Spirit, a segment featuring Matilda the Hun at the Casino, and an "At Home" segment with the Housewives, Arlene and Phyliss). DVD extras include a Promo for G.L.O.W volume 1 and a slideshow for the same.

Summary: the good ol' days! 80s women's wrestling...
Review: If you don't know what GLOW is, check out my reviews for volumes one and two. I'll just cut to the chase and tell you what's on this video (I have the video not dvd). The Matches: 1) Jungle Woman & Spanish Red vs Susie Spirit and Debbie Debutante (2) Dementia vs Little Egypt (unusual but no commentary for this match...) (3) Dallas vs Colonel Ninotchka in a Texas Bar Room brawl match and (4) Eight girl tag team street fight - Hollywood, Vine, Envy & Adore vs Sally the farmer's daughter, California Doll, Tina and Ashley. The point of this match is to STRIP your opponents clothes off...kind of like a WWE "bra and panties" match. There's skits, mini rap videos for some of the girls, and some crappy wrestling, but overall, fun to watch.
