Summary: The BEST ECW VIDEO EVER!
Review: Now we're talkin'! This ECW video is the BEST ECW video ever! The first match is a fatal four-way elimination match up featuring Pit Bull # 2 vs. Shane Douglas vs. 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Chris Jericho. This match is rather long but still pretty fun though. Francine gets powerbombed through a table near the ending of the match.
The second match is much better, pitting "Mr. PPV" Rob Van Dam against Bam Bam Bigelow. Rob Van Dam throws Bigalow to the front row of the audience and then jumps onto him from the top turnbuckle in the ring! And then, RVD does it AGAIN! You've gotta see it to believe it! The 3rd match up is definetly not for the faint of heart and DEFINETLY NOT SUITABLE FOR KIDS! The Sandman takes on Sabu in the very first "Stairway to Hell" match up, a match in which barbed wire is hung from the ceiling to become the ultimate weapon. This was the most violent war I have EVER seen! Sabu stabs The Sandman with a pair of ... scissors and wraps his head up in the barbed wire! Sabu breaks his jaw over the metal guard rail and begins bleeding from his mouth! You watch this match and tell me it's "fake". The Sandman's face gets covered in blood and so does his shirt! And the fourth match up is just as graphic. Ian Rotten takes on Axel Rotten in a Taipei Death match: Taped fists covered in BROKEN GLASS! And the last match is a Three-way Dance, pitting Jerry Lynn against Tajiri and Super Crazy in a match up of amazing display you'll have to see to believe! THIS VIDEO IS THE BOMB! GET IT!

Summary: Hidden Features Revealed !- DVD Only
Review: On Pioneers release of Path of Destrucion You can find one hidden feature that Wrestling fans will find as interesting. From the disc's main menu, go to the 'Special Features,' and there, go past promos and biographies and highlight the 'Main Menu' entry. Now press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control, which will take you to a 12 minute promo featurette about Brian Pillman when he was appearing in the ECW for the first time after leaving the WCW.The featurette contains the entire profanity-laced tirade he vented off through, a fight with a plant in the audience, Shane Douglas yelling at Brian Pillman, his ejection from the building, practically everything that made his entry so memorable. This is just one reason to buy this great DVD among the other features I liked this one the best!

Summary: After watching this your be lying in a path of destruction
Review: Overall I enjoyed the DVD it was great some matches better than others.
1st match 4-way for ECW T.V title Chris Jericho vs Shane Douglas vs Pitbull 2 vs 2 Cold Scorpio. A 40 minute battle Shane makes u really hate him as the match goes on it's hard to beleve this happened in 96 it holds up so well now it's amazing and it shows that companies have wasted Shane ,Jericho ,and even Scorpio.4.1/4 stars

2nd match T.V title match champ Bam Bam bigelow vs Rob Van Dam
It is so obvious who will but a good match some great planchas from rvd.Everyone puts over rvd in this match but Bigelow is on the end of the leaps.4 stars mostly for the insane planchas.

3rd match stairway to hell match Sandman vs Sabu.
I'm not the biggest fan of sandman I think he (stinks) at pure wrestling but he can bump like crazy. The match goal I guess is to climb a ladder to get to the barbwire. From there it got crazier and crazier I won't give 1 bump away b/c it'll take away the values.4 stars for the brutality not the wrestling.

4th match taipai death match Axl Rotten vs Ian Rotten
All in all a brawl with pieces of glass glued to each person's hands.Like one wrestling move but hey it's ECW you only need 1 sometimes both bleed alot as u would think kinda slow tho.3 stars for the blood if not that much maybe 1 or 2.

5th match three way dance Jerry Lynn vs Super Crazy vs Tajiri
A really good match almost everything u would want even a insane balcony leap.I like technacal wreatling more than hardcore so i liked this match alot good action don't wanna give anything away but if you like any of these men your like the match.4 stars

6th match ECW farewell match 2/3 falls match Dean Malenko vs Eddy Gurrero
One of the 10 best technaical matches I have ever seen.It shows what these men can do if they have enough time.I didn't like the ending but it made sense great counters and reversals 4 3/4 stars great.

7th match Rey mysterio Jr vs Pshycosis
Nothing revolutionary back in 95 this was awesome but if u saw these two on a nitro u got the idea but still a good match.3 3/4 stars.

I think that Extreme evolution was better but this is a good buy for a wretsling fan.

Summary: Overall, a great collection of matches.
Review: Shane Douglas vs. Pit Bull #2 vs. Chris Jericho vs. 2 Cold Scorpio
A great series of opening spots by Jericho and Scorpio, though overshaddowed by
The Franchise's upstaging on the apron. 2 Cold Scorpio (Flash Funk in the WWF) was always
one of the most underutilized pure athletes in the business, and he shows how great of a
title hunter/holder he would be in this match. Pit Bull 2, who has gained the least popularity
of the four in this match, gives this match a decent boost (even though it doesn't need it)
with his sheer strength. The Franchise was always, in my opinion, one of the smartest
technical wrestlers ever, and here he is at the peek point at his career (this match was
just months removed from his match with Cactus Jack, a 5 star classic.) Chris Jericho (whom would
later go on to the WCW then to WWF/E and would become the first man to ever hold the WCW and
WWF titles at the same time) is kind of shown here as a jobber, but does a great job taking
a beating. There were big moves all throughout this match, but it ran too long. If this match
were to end at 28 minutes, it would be a 5 star.
rating: 4 1/2

Rob Van Dam vs. Bam Bam Bigelow
BBB has gotten a bad reputation for being a bad wrestler. Judging by his Wrestlemania
matches, I would agree. But his run in ECW was laden with 5 star matches, and this one might
be his best. It goes without saying that RVD is the best High Flyer in America and he showcases
it with some fantastic moves from the ring post to the crowd. Watch for what might be the
world's highest Frog Splash, a BIG moonsault from BBB, and a big body bomb that launches
Sabu spin kicking to Rob Van Dam.
rating: 5

Sabu vs. Sandman
This match was very freakin' intense. Was it ever! But, despite the weapon use, there is not
very much as far as good wretling or fighting. A few great bumps from Sabu and a decent performance
from Sandman. I still don't understand what makes Sandman so popular.
rating: 2 1/2

Axl Rotten vs. Ian Rotten
I had heard a whole lot about this match, so I had high expectations. Let down. Just blood.
Worst match on the disc. Horrible. Makes Steiner vs. HHH look like Steamboat vs. Flair.
rating: 1/2

Jerry Lynn vs. Super Crazy vs. Tajiri
Definitely the best match on the disc. This match includes one of the most underrated
performers in the world in Jerry Lynn. This man was at the hight of his game at this time, fresh off
of the match of the year, Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn for the TV Title. Super Crazy has some crazy spots
in this true classic, and Tajiri has the most stiff kicks in the game, not to mention some crazy
inventive submissions. This match set the groundwork for Smackdown circa 2002's style of wrestling,
incorporating not only great, fast-paced action, but insanely genious counters and psychology. You
will have to watch this match a thousand times just to catch every move.
rating: 5

Dean Malenko vs. Eddie Guerrero, 2 out of 3 falls
Not their best match with each other, but none the less, a technical wrestling classic.
Along with their other matches, this epic stands along-side Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle(Royal Rumble
2002) and Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart(Wrestlemania 10) as one of the best psychological wrestling
matches of all time. Incredibly heart felt performances, fast paced action, and the crowd was really
into it: all great ingedients for a great match.
rating: 5

Psicosis vs. Rey Mysterio Jr.
This match helped get high flying lucha libre off the gound of Mexico and into the air of
USA. By today's standards, this one is not that great, but for historical value, it's priceless.
rating: 4

EXTRAS:
Not much to speak of, but there is an incredible promo by Steve Austin, post WCW, pre WWF/E.

Final Note:
One of the best DVDs on the market, ECW's Path Of Destruction is a great, purchase worthy
collection. Buy it when you get some money, cuz it's kinda hard to find now, and if you do find it,
it'll be a pretty penny.

Summary: ECW: Path of Destruction
Review: Some great classic matches for all ECW fans. See the originals at their best.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good DVD, can't wait for more from ECW!!
Review: Some of ECW's best matches are on here including the Sabu/Sandman Stairway to Hell match, the classic 3-way between Lynn/Tajiri and Super Crazy and RVD vs Bam Bam Bigelow in which RVD won the TV belt which he held for almost two years. Also on this DVD are two classic matches which include Dean Malenko and Eddie Guererro in a 2/3 falls match (their last ECW match), and the ECW debut of Rey Mysterio Jr (when he was good) and Psicosis. The one time only Tapei Death Match between Ian and Axl Rotten is on here as well which is one of the most brutal matches I have ever seen (blood, blood and more blood). All in all, this is a very good DVD which ECW fans will love! Ahh, the good ole days!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This is What Made ECW Great. The Essential ECW DVD.
Review: the matches:

Jericho vs. 2Cold vs. Shane vs. Pitbulls****1/4
Jericho and 2Cold provide the mat wrestling and high spots. Shane provides the heat, and the pitbull bleeds and blows spots. Silly Ending but I'll forgive them. Very Fun match doesn't even seem like an hour.

RVD vs. Bam Bam****1/4
RVD never looked better as he flows from high spot to high spot with speed and grace. Even Bam Bam manages to look good. RVD's BEST ECW MATCH EVER and Best match on the DVD as well.

Sabu vs. Sandman**1/2
Its just what you'd expect from these two. Lots of blood, brawling and sick bumps. Could have been good, but Sabu breaks his jaw, forcing a sudden impromtu finish.

Ian vs. Axl Rotten*1/4
They bleed alot, not much else.

Lynn vs. Tajiri vs. Super Crazy***3/4
Fast spot fest. They all get to hit their trademark moves and everyone goes home happy. Good Match.

Malenko vs. Guererro****
Not their best, but still an amazing showcase of mat wrestling from two of the best. Bad Ending though.

Psicosis vs. Rey Misterio***1/2
Groundbreaking at the time. Now just your average good luchadore match. Anticlimatic ending hurts it though.

You want mat wrestling, luchadcores, spotfests, buckets of blood. Much like ECW at its peak, Its got it all. This is the best ECW DVD out there.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Once again ECW shows WWF why they s*** so so much
Review: The second ECW DVD is even better than the first with all of ECW's best hardcore matches including Axl rotten and his brother Ian rotten voluntarily putting glued pieces of glass to their taped fists and litteraly beating the living h*** out of one another until they nearly bleed to death. And not only that you got the greatest fued in wrestling history Sabu vs. The Sandman in a Stairway to h*** match which is a Ladder match with Barbed wire hanging above the ceiling instead of a Championship Belt with sandman falling off the top of the ladder to the cement floor onto a table!!! Then having barbed wire wrapped around his head!!. And the four way match is just exausting as match goes on and on and on. Also on this tape features one of the many classic matches in the infamous Malenko-Guererro fued not much can be said about this classic battleand you get to see one of rob van dam's best matches. He is the Whole F'n Show!!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The tape is awesome, but I wish I had gotten the DVD
Review: The tape is great, with awesome matches featuring Sabu vs. Sandman, Pitbull 2 vs. Chris Jericho vs. 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Shane Douglas, Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Rob Van Damn, and Super Crazy vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri vs. Jerry Lynn The match between Axl and Ian Rotten is a bloodfest, but I only found it OK. Anyway, this tape is 5 stars but get the DVD cuz that has even more. The Psychosis/Mysterio and Eddie/Malenko matches are both awesome and I wish I had gotten the DVD instead of the tape. But either way, it's one heck of a comp. and you should get your hands on it now!

Summary: "Pop one open, light one up, and lets get EXTREME!"
Review: They've lost their national cable deal, they aren't running shows until the march 14 ppv, and half their main event talent has gone to the WWF. ECW is hurting now, but you would do yourself a favor by picking up this amazing DVD. From the technical brilliance of Eddie Guerrero vs Dean Malenko to the high flying luchador action of Rey Mysterio Jr vs Pyschosis to the insanity that was Sandman vs Sabu to the title victory that started the 2 + reign of Rob Van Dam this DVD has it all. I think its even better than the first one, and that was a hard one to top. If you're not familiar with ECW, pick this up, its like a little road map through greatness. Besides, theres just something about axl rotten vs ian rotten with fists covered in glass that makes those lame chair shots in the WWF look like little kids on a playground throwing sand. Maybe your saying to yourself "but I heard those FMW DVDs where more hardcore", im sorry but nothing is more hardcore than this ECW DVD. Buy it, sit back, relax, pop one open, light one up and getting ready to be taken to the EXTREME!
