Summary: Great PPV- well worth buying
Review: i have only been watching wrestling for less then a year and this was the best ppv i have seen in my short time watching. The triple threat match between The Rattlesnake Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mankind, and The Game HHH was outstanding with a suprising but great result. Plus almost a double mainevent when Rock faces BA Billy Gunn in the first ever "Kiss My Ass"match! With Jesse The Body Ventura in the main event as referee, it is for sure worth buying!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Awesome PPV, but with it's drawbacks
Review: I really didn't know what to think when I first starting the PPV. They were starting off the biggest PPV of the summer with such lackluster action as this? Mostly all of the beginning of the PPV sucked. And the worst match was the WWF Women's Championship match. It was slow and ended on a dumb "mistake" made by Tori. But that match was made up by almost having Tori getting her top ripped her by Ivory. Anyway, things really started getting good when the Lions Den Weapons match rolled around. While the action was slow at times, it started the fire of this PPV. And what can I say about the main event?? Jesse "The Body" Ventura being the referee for a Triple Threat match for the WWF championship. The match was awesome and all three WWF superstars did well. Overall, a great PPV , even though some of it was slow. The best action all summer!!!

Summary: It will be the best Summer Slam ever.
Review: I thought that the main event: Austin vs Mankind vs HHH was cool. The Rock vs Billy Gunn was cool too, but I liked the Lion's Den match with Ken Shamrock and Steve blackman.Y2J's appenence was neat. I also liked the Tag Team Turmoil match too.

Summary: A Few Snoozer matches, but the rest was great!
Review: I was at SummerSlam 1999 in Minneapolis and everyone that I knew said that this was a disappointing PPV but I have to disagree because yes undeniably, there were some snoozer matches (ex: D'Lo Brown vx Double J, Inter-Euro Belts on the line, Kane and X-Pac vs Undertaker and Big Show and I hate to say it Lion's Den/Weapon's Match Ken Shamrock vs Steve Blackman). The rest of the matches were awesome.

Best match of the night, EASY! Shane McMahon vs Test, Greenwich Street Fight, Love her or Leave her match. This was easily one of the best Hardcore matches of the year (but not as good as HHH vs Vince McMahon at Armageddon 99). The match was completely brutal and Shane O Mac did something no one was expecting in that match and that was make his leap of fate from the top rope to the outside onto a beat up Test on a table. I could easily watch that match over and over again.

Another highlight was Y2J talking to trash to the Road Dogg Jesse James and the Hardcore Title match of Al Snow w/ Pepper vs Big Boss Man. And who could forget the Kiss My Butt match between BA Billy Gunn vs The Rock, probably one of Billy's best singles matches,

This was still one of my favorite PPVs of that year (1999) but then again, I don't think you could go wrong with any of the PPCs that year because they were all excellent that year. Check this one out and after you do, pick up ARMAGEDDON 1999 because that was another awesome PPV.

Summary: Best Summerslam Ever
Review: I was in attendance at Summerslam and it was the greatest. The crowd got into every match. I would say I really enjoyed the main event between Stone Cold Steve Austin, HHH, and Mankind. My favorite match besides that one was the match between Test and Shane McMahon. I think this will go down as the best Summerslam in History

Summary: Here Comes The Money!
Review: Mick Foley, himself, would say that you would "have a nice day" watching this DVD. This was, by far, the best Summerslam in quite some time, and the DVD is truly put together quite nicely.

The main event on the card pits "Stone Cold" Steve Austin against the legend of hardcore, Mick Foley, and the best professional in the business, Triple H, in a triple threat match for the WWF Championship. This match was awesome, and it was refereed by none other than the Governor of Minnesota and former WWF announcer, Jessie "the Body" Ventura.

The other big match on the card, and probably the best match of 1999, had Shane McMahon vs. Test in a Greenwich Street Match. These guys pushed the match to the extreme, and they gave everything that they had. It was an amazing back-and-forth match that, itself, is worth the price of the DVD.

This is an excellent DVD with lots of extras, not to mention being one of the better Pay-Per-View cards in the last few years. This is a must for any fan of the WWF.

Summary: A great summerslam
Review: One of the best summerslams I seen yet. Very good card and very entertaining. Alot of hardcore type matches. The only match that disappointed me was the Triple Threat WWF Title match. Mankind had no right walking out of Summerslam the champ. But Overall this is one of my favorite WWF DVD's.
