Description:
The Game. The Cerebral Assassin. Whatever you call him, Triple H has risen from nowhere (OK, the depths of WCW wrestling) and become one of the biggest names in sports-entertainment. And, mostly, he's done it through an intense passion and love of the wrestling business. This documentary goes out of its way to show the respect that the quiet, humorous wrestler has been grappling for. As for the action, it mostly covers HHH's heel run through 2000, until his career-threatening injury in May 2001, to his long, triumphant return (as a face, no less) six months later. In addition to interviews (with HHH and other admiring wrestlers), the DVD is packed with classic matches, including Royal Rumble 2000, which has funny, insightful commentary by the Game; his debut in 1995; and his personal favorite match, between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat in 1989. --Dave McCoy
