Summary: Wrestlemania X-Seven, None Better!
Review: This is, in my opinion THE BEST WWF pay-per view. I have every one since January 1998. My only grudge against it is that it is poorley laid out! 8 matches on the 1st and 3 on the 2nd disk with a few extras on each. Now if you think that that is because they couldn't fit all the matches on one DVD with all the extras on the other, your wrong. They put the entire envent without the extras on a VHS, a DVD can hold a lot more! Anyway here is how I rate these matches:

Intercontinental Title: Chris Jericho vs. William Regal: *** 3/4 Extremly entertaining, should have been further into the event though.

The RTC vs. The Acolytes and Tazz: ** 1/2 Tazz needs to be pushed, bad. He is one of the most charismatic and good wrestlers in the WWF.

Hardcore Title: Raven vs. The Big Show vs. Kane: *** 1/2 This match should have been much further into the show, not just because of the quality but because of the 2 former WWF Champs! (Big Show and Kane)

European Title: Test vs. Eddie Guerrero: ***. A solid match that was exactly what I expected.

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit: **** 1/2 A great WRESTLING match. Also check out their awesome 30-Minute Ultimate Submission match at Backlash 2K1!

Women's Title: Ivory vs. Chyna: * I gave this match a 1 cuz it was so 1-sided and the outcome was very predictable. I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm glad it was kept short.

Vince McMahon vs. Shane McMahon: ****. Whenever Shane O-Mac is in a PPV, you can bet your A$$ that you will not be disapointed, his Summerslam '99 bump along with a 20 foot dropkick is included!

Tag Team Titles: TLC II: The Dudley Boyz vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge & Christian: *****. I still agree that TLC 1 was unbeatable, the only new huge bump that happened was a spear of a 20 foot ladder in mid-air. I'm not saying that that is boring! I'm just saying that they did every same move that they did in TLC 1. Good to See again though!

Gimmick Battle Royal: ??? This match was simply to keep Wrestlemania about the legends and this is what the match did. (It also provided some comic relife!)

Triple H vs. The Undertaker: **** Both men proved that even though Rock and Austin may have been in the main event. They derserve to be in it too! (Although I like single main events better.)

WWF Title: The Rock vs. Steve Austin: ***** Even better than their Wrestlemania 15 match, EXCELLENT WAR! (Except for Austin's heel change)

Summary: Best and funniest
Review: I will forever remember this Wrestlemania for 5 hilarious things:

1. Opening match Regal forgets how to put on the Regal Strech and is Laughing the whole time.

2. Raven getting hit by the golf cart.

3. Test getting stuck upside-down and Eddy and the Ref not knowing what to do.

4. The Iron Shiek

5. Shane's Van-Terminator on Vince

Summary: Good God! Good God! Good God!
Review: The Best of all time. I had the pleasure of attending in person. Every wrestling fans dream is to attend a Wrestlemania and mine came true. From top to bottom a great card. My favorite match was the Stone Cold VS. Rock match. Of course, being from Texas, I was going for Stone Cold and booing the hell out of the Rock. It was a thrill to see all the old-timers again. I wanted Hogan to make his triumphant return(I was wearing a "Hulkster" T-shirt for those who have seen the video)but unfortunately it did not happen. Anyway buy it, if you dont your a jabroni. THE BEST OF ALL TIME!!

Summary: Great PPV, Poor DVD
Review: Couldn't believe that I had just bought the DVD of possibly the greatest Wrestlemania of All time!! But I was really disappointed when I saw it! First of all there were no alternate commentaries! Not many xtras as you would think! They split the PPV onto two dvds!!! First 8 matches on the ... first DVD and the last 3 matches on the second ... DVD!!! Poor ... Job on making the ... thing!! Vince should fire who came up with the idea to make the DVD this way!!!

Summary: Disapointment
Review: You would think that a big pay per view like Wrestlemania X-Seven would have a bad ass DVD right? WRONG!!The good thing about the DVD is it has the Sunday Nigh Heat xtras but the downfall to the whole DVD is they split the matches in the DVDs!!! The First 8 matches are on the first DVD and the last 3 are on the second DVD. What the hell were the people who made this damn DVD Thinking!!! Bad choice!! Waste of my money !!

Summary: Great Wrestlemania, but a few disappointments
Review: This was one of the more memorable Wrestlemanias (although nothing compares to Wrestlemania 6!). But I just could not give it the full 5-star rating, mainly because the 2 matches I was looking forward to the most turned out to be cold turkeys in my view.

Jericho vs Regal: Not the greatest of all matches, but some pretty descent action. A poor choice for the first match, IMO.

Big Show vs Kane vs Raven: An in-your-face brawl, filled with tons of brutality. Testosterone galore. A great fight!

Tazz & APA vs Right to Censor: Little bit of a snoozer. Very predictable.

Test vs Guerrero: Surprisingly, a good solid match. You almost have to do a double-take and pinch yourself.

Chyna vs Ivory: One of the disappointments. I'm all for female athletes becoming an active part of the WWF, and maybe even someday reaching the same level of superstar-status as Triple H and Stone Cold. But if the WWF genuinely and seriously intends to accomplish this, they are going to have to do A LOT better than this match. That is, if one can even call it a match. More like a one minute long tango and then poof, it's over. Not to mention the let-down for Chyna fans out there, myself included. She has proven what she's capable of doing many times, and this match only let her barely scratch that surface.

Benoit vs Angle: Not bad at all. I liked the way it began as a pure scientific contest and then changed to a "regular" match.

Dudleys vs Hardys vs Edge & Christian: Action-packed match. Your eyes will be glued to the screen for this one. Excellent!

Vince McMahon vs Shane McMahon: Shane proves why they call him "The Boy Wonder." Another great one.

Gimmick Battle Royal: The other disappointment for me. Hopefully without sounding too teary-eyed, I'll explain. This "match" means different things to different people, according to your generation. For those of you who are now growing up with the current WWF (Hardy Boys, Kurt Angle, etc.), this one probably didn't hold your interest, and was basically filler for the show. But for those of us such as myself who belong to a slightly older generation, we grew up with the old school WWF stars like The Iron Sheik and Hillbilly Jim. I was looking forward to this one, as a nostalgic trip back to the 80's and early 90's. Granted, it was an amazing feeling to see all these classic superstars in the ring together. But it was over way too soon. All that talent in the ring and it lasts for a minute or two. Couldn't they have had at least a few of them slug it out a while, especially when it got down to 3 or 4 of them? In a way I felt like the WWF made a mockery of these former greats. This could have been so much more.

Triple H vs Undertaker: A classic. 2 of the best going at it. Not to mention an awesome live performance of Motorhead doing their thing with "The Game."

Stone Cold vs The Rock: Mind-boggling main event. This one must have gone back and forth at least 20 times. And a conclusion that nobody would have expected.

To sum it up, this was a great Wrestlemania. Definitely worth getting. You might be a little disappointed if you're a fan of Chyna, but you can always see more of her elsewhere. And you might be a little bummed out if you wanted to see all the old school superstars give it their best. But oh well, that is what all those dusty old WWF videos sitting on your shelves are for.

Summary: Wrestlemania ROCKED
Review: This year's was a lot better than last year's. The opener was ok. I liked the hardcore match it was pretty cool. The t.l.c 2 was a really great match. Undertaker and triple h match was a great performance between these two superstars and keeping Undertaker's streak of wins at wrestlemania. The main event rocked the dome and I thought it was the greatest match between these two. A really cool pay-per-view.

Summary: the worst ppv ever
Review: wm x7 was not good there was only a few good matches the tlc2 would be the only reason for buying this. and the vince vs. shane match. the rest of the ppv was no good if you watch wwf you will be abel to predict what will happen except for when austin joined vince the rest sucked .

Summary: How can you NOT like this event?
Review: It's Wrestlemania X-Seven. If you don't like this, you can't be a true wrestling fan. The matches on the card were great stuff, but the real show stealers are the TLC2, Vince vs Shane and World Title bouts. Any WWF fanatic knows what to expect from the Tables, Ladders and Chairs extravaganza. Shane McMahon's Van Terminator dropkick from across the ring has to be seen to be believed and as for The Rock vs Steve Austin? DEFINATELY one of the finest and historic wrestling main events in recent memory. In short, this is the most essential WWF video to own so far this year simply on the basis that it's the greatest Wrestlemania of all time. Don't miss it under any circumstances.
