Rating: 5 stars
Summary: AWESOME PPV OF 2001
Review: THIS WAS A GREAT PPV. EVEN THOUGH JERICHO WON IT WAS STILL A GREAT PPV. THE HARDCORE MATCH BETWEEN RVD AND UNDERTAKER WAS REALLY GOOD. IT COULD HAVE BEEN THE SHOW STEALER BUT WASN'T THAT GOOD ENOUGH. IT WAS ALSO UNDERTAKERS FIRST MATCH WITH SHORT HAIR! ALL THE OTHER MATCHES WERE GOOD EXCEPT THE WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH BETWEEN DUDLEY BOYZ AND BIG SHOW AND KANE. TAHT WAS EVEN AN OKAY MATCH. OVERALL THIS WAS A GREAT PPV AND I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. THIS WILL PROBABLY BE WORTH LOTS OF MONEY LIKE 20 YEARS FROM NOW SINCE IT'S REALLY HISTORIC. 1ST UNDISPUTED CHAMP AND ALL. WELL ANYWAYS LIKE I SAID I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WHO LIKES WWE WRESTLING. PEACE I'M OUT!!!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: pretty good
Review: this was a pretty good PPV with a big triple main event with classic battles such as Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy and Edge vs. William Regal. The Main event includes rock vs. Chris Jericho and Austin vs. Angle the winner of those matches faces the each other later in the night. There was surprise ending at the PPV a huge upset see it to believe it!!!!

Summary: December 2001 San Diego Sports Arena San Diego, CA
Review: This was actually a pretty decent PPV. It is an overall underrated PPV, which is surprising considering the first ever undisputed title is handed out in this match.

1. Scotty 2 Hotty & Albert vs. Test & Christian
These were the early days of Test and Christian teaming together. Nothing to exciting here. Why is Albert still employed, and Scotty for that matter. (7/10)

2. Edge vs. William Regal (Intercontinental Title)
This was the beginning of these two competitors fued. Unfortunately, the fued did not live up to the hype and really dragged on. Okay match. (7/10)

3. Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy
This fued did not last long and good thing it didn't. I was really looking forward to this match. It was a complete dud. (4/10)

4. Dudley Boys vs. Big Show & Kane (WWF Tag Titles)
Nothing too much went on in this match. It was more funny than anything. (6/10)

5. Rob Van Dam vs. Undertaker (Hardcore Title)
One of the better matches of the night. These two actually mixed well together in this match and put on quite a performance. (8.5/10)

6. Trish Stratus vs. Jacqueline (WWF Women's Title)
Who cares? (3/10)

7. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Kurt Angle (Winner Gets A Shot At Undisputed Title Later In The Night)
Very entertaining match. Probably the best match of the night. These two mix very well together. Although Angle can hang with anybody and make everyone look good. (9/10)

8. The Rock vs. Chris Jericho (Winner Gets A Shot At Undisputed Title Later In The Night)
Decent match. It is not as good as their No Mercy 2001 and Royal Rumble 2002 title matches, but is good nonetheless. These two mesh well together as well. (8.5/10)

9. Austin/Angle winner vs. Rock/Jericho winner (To Become The First Ever Undisputed Champion)
I don't want to give away the semi-final winners just in case you have not seen the PPV. Pretty good final match. Booker T makes an appearance. Surprise ending. (9/10)

The main event matches on this PPV were good, but the undercard was horrible. The only real need to buy this DVD is for historical purposes. The matches were decent, but can be seen elsewhere on other PPV's.

Overall Rating: 7/10

Summary: Great PPV, Slow To Build-Up But Gets There Before Ya Know It
Review: This was no ordinary WWE pay per view..this was a first among firsts, the night of Vengeance 2001...one undisputed champion would be crowned. For years, there never has been an undisputed champion, but in one night, it was settled once and for all. Though I'm sure many wrestling fans like myself kept up with the storyline n' all, I felt that the outcome of the final match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Chris Jericho was well fought, and that Jericho finally got what he had deserved since making his arrival upon the WWE scene in 1999, I felt he was a great Undisputed champion until his reign ended come WrestleMania X8, and I hope that sometime down the road they'll give it to him again. The rest of the matches on the tape are fairly decent, so its a pretty much a keeper.

Summary: WWF Venegeance
Review: Venegeance had to have been the most important PPV ever. For the 1st time, and UNDISPUTED CHAMPION OF THE WORLD was crowned. A must have for any Federation Fan

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A historic PPV, but way too overhyped
Review: Vengeance 2001
The WWE and WCW titles would finally be unified (they shouldn't have waited so long to do it though) and there was massive hype. But did the show live up to expectations?

Scotty 2 Hotty & Albert V Test and Christian
This match was only announced on Heat. Suprisingly though, the crowd got into it and the match was good, especially towards the end when it got pretty exciting. 7/10

Interconternential title - Edge V William Regal
This was a clash of styles, but the match was actually pretty good and enjoyable. Edge spears the steps accidently. 7/10

Jeff Hardy V Matt Hardy
First of all - no one wanted this to happen: the tag team division was already suffering, so why they want to break up one of the best tag teams around? Anyway, we all hoped for a brilliant high-flying ariel match, but what we got was a crap mat-wrestling match. The Hardys actually din't appear again for about 2 months because of this match. Very disappointing. 3/10

Tag titles - Dudleys V Big Show and Kane
This was quite an amusing match, with a funny part involving Stacey. Kane and Show have a misunderstanding allowing the Dudleys to retain. 6/10

Hardcore title - Rob Van Dam V Undertaker
This was the match of the night. It was a brilliant hardcore match. They fight through the crowd and into a storage area. Then they fight on the stage and it eventually ends when Taker chokeslamms RVD right off the stage through a table! 9/10

Women's title Trish Stratus V Jacqueline

Why the hell do WWE always put the women so high on the card? A crap match, as usual. 3/10

WWE title - Stone Cold Steve Austin V Kurt Angle
They put on a good match here. Angle and Austin are both great wrestlers, and the ending is clean and good. 2nd best match of the night. 8/10

World (former WCW) title - The Rock V Chris Jericho
This was a little slow, but an enjoyable match with the crowd really into it. They use an announce table at one point. It's quite suprising to see Jericho win. 8/10

Unification match Undisputed title - Stone Cold V Chris Jericho
There was so much on the line, and the match was a bit to short. It was kind of unfair that Jericho got no rest at all. I was very suprised when I first watched this (the day after it happend) to see Chris Jericho win to become the first ever UNDISPUTED champion. 8/10

Overall
This wasn't a bad PPV as it had some good matches (Taker/RVD and Austin/Angle were the best). However it was way overhyped and couldn't live up to it.

Summary: MEH!!!
Review: Vengence Still Sucks. I paid for it on PPV, and felt extremely gypped. Vince McMahon sure messed up the title unification. They would have been better off putting the unified title on The Rock or Austin to give it legitimancy. As much as I like Jericho's work in the ring, his title reign followed by an even worse title reign by HHH sunk the company. Now the WWF is dead, and the WWE doesn't look too healthy. The end started long before this show, but it may have only accelerated the death of the WWE(F).

Summary: An undisputed letdown
Review: Well, it was one of the most historic pay-per-views of our time. The WWF and the WCW title were finaly going to be united (a move that in my opinion should have been done LONG before) It was hyped to the moon and when bell time came, the WWF put on yet another letdown of a show. Here's a rundown of the card.

Scotty 2 Hotty & Albert vs. Test and Christian
Why oh why wasn't this match on heat? This is an absolute waste of time and shows that the creative department has lost it's mind.

Match rating: *

Edge (IC Champ) vs. William Regal
These men are both great wrestlers. But their styles are completly different and it severly hurts the quality of this match.
Match rating: **

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy
This was a match that no one wanted to happen. The tag team division was hurting to begin with and someone decided to break up one of the greatest teams in the WWF today. The match was mostly ground based and was over all boreing.
Match rating: *

Dudley Boyz (Tag Champs) vs. Big Show and Kane
I'm a big fan of the Dudleys and Kane, but the Big show has got to go. He's slow, he's uneventful, and he's hardly ever entertaining, much like the rest of the WWF. The Dudleys tried to carry the match, but it just didn't happen. By the way, Stacy is HOTT!!!
Match Rating: **

RVD (Hardcore Champ) vs. The Undertaker
Before I start, I have to say that I have no respect for the Hardcore title at all. It's a freakin joke. Hardly anyone who has it holds it for more than a month and with the 24/7 rule, it becomes even more of a joke. Ok, for once a decient match. I expected this one to be a snore fest, but Taker and RVD went at each other and put on a very good show.
Match rating: ***

Trish Stratus (Womans Champ) vs. Jacqueline
Why these women matches are so high on the card I will never know. A snore fest, of corse.
Match rating: *

Stone Cold Steve Austen (WWF Champ) vs. Kurt Angle
These two always put on a good match. Seeing as how these were like the only 2 high card guys around for the whole INVASION angle, it makes sence that they are fighting for the title. Would have liked to see Angle win, but oh well
Match rating: ***

The Rock (WCW Champ) vs. Chris Jericho
Even though Jericho was the heel, everyone wanted to see him win it. He has always been a good wrestler and was always shafted out of the main event spot. Ok match, but a little slow.
Match rating: **

Stone Cold vs. Chris Jericho
For a match with this much on the line, this was WAY too short. I was, however, happy to see that Stone Cold didn't win it. It was someone elses turn. He had been the champ since Wrestlemania, so naturaly, Chris Jericho became the first ever UNDISPUTED CHAMPION!!!
Match rating: **

Overall, the PPV wasn't worth the hype. I should know, I was there live. If you are tempted to buy this DVD, be warned, there are absolutly no extras what so ever. So if you do get it, you will be stuck with a VERY lackluster show with very few high spots.
