Review: a good effort for wwe. could have been better since raw & smackdown teamed up again. summerslam is wwe 's 3rd biggest event of the year. again, no extras on the dvd. what's going on here? this is summerslam for crying out loud!WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
LA RESISTANCE VS BUBBA RAY & D-VON DUDLEY 7/10- resistance is getting better. need to drop the un-american angle. a good tag team match with a suprise ending A-TRAIN VS UNDERTAKER 7/10- a better match than i expected. a- train finally looks decent. wasn't a bore at all ERIC BISCHOFF VS SHANE MCMAHON 8/10- glad to see shane return to the ring. not a great match but gets a high rating because of the entertainment it provides. involvement of steve austin & jonathan coachman was great. crowd was on their feet. U.S. CHAMPIONSHIP(FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH)
EDDIE GUERRERO VS CHRIS BENOIT VS RHYNO VS TAJIRI 7/10- this could have been a 10 if rhyno wasn't involved. should have used cena, mysterio or kidman instead of rhyno. slow start but pace picked up & made for a good match despite rhyno. MATT HARDY VS ZACH GOWEN 0/10- was very disappointed this match was canceled. gowen was brutally injured by lesnar on previous smackdown & unable to compete. hardy declared the winner by forfeit on Heat. would have been a great match. WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
KURT ANGLE VS BROCK LESNAR 10/10- even better than their wrestlemania match. an all out effort. this is the match of the year. awesome ending. KANE VS ROB VAN DAM 6/10- weird to see kane without a mask. doesn't seem like the same guy. was expecting a great one; instead was kind of lackluster. a big letdown from these 2. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP(ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH)
TRIPLE HHH VS KEVIN NASH VS SHAWN MICHAELS VS CHRIS JERICHO VS GOLDBERG VS RANDY ORTON 5/10- a big disappointment! was not long enough. only 20 minutes compared to the 1st one at survivor series being 40 minutes. 1st one was a classic; this one was a dud. why was orton in this? he's never been in a ppv; now he's in the main event?should have put booker t back in it.if not for certain moments this would have been worse. overall, this would have been a great summerslam if not for the last 2 matches. smackdown carried this one. raw was disappointing. why was john cena, rey mysterio, billy kidman, big show, charlie haas & shelton benjamin left off the card from smackdown? why was booker t & christian left out from raw? christian is the intercontinental champion for pete's sake!

Review: I saw it live, then on dvd. Overall, the matches were pretty damn good. match 1. WWE Tag Titles:Dudley Boys vs. La Resistance(champs). match 2. Undertaker vs. A-Train. GO STEPH!! Match 3. Shane McMahon vs. Eric Biscoff No Holds Barred!
Vintage Shane O' Mac. Stone Cold Stuns Jonathon Coachman who interferes with a chair. Match 4. US title Fatal 4 way, Eddie Guerrero(C)vs. Chris Benoit vs. Rhyno vs. Tajiri. Fast pased match. Actually a little too fast. This match was short, around 15 min. would have been better if more time was taken to plot out the match. Match 5. WWE Heavyweight title. Kurt Angle(C) vs. Brock Lesnar.

taps out for the FIRST TIME! match 6. RVD vs. Kane. Dissapointing. this was one of the sloppiest matches i've seen. highlight was the massive tombstone piledriver on the steel steps. Match 7. Elimination chamber match for the World Title.
HHH(C)vs Randy Orton vs Shawn Michaels vs Goldberg vs
Shawn Michaels vs Kevin Nash. This match could've
been much better,(maybe Goldberg should learn more than the 3 moves he overused his whole pathetic career.)HHH was Champ, and due to a serious Groin injury he got during a non televised match with Goldberg, was not 100%. Seeing Goldberg use just the Spear and then the Jackhammer to secure 3 pretty much back to back to back pinfalls was sad. the Beating given by Evolution to a handcuffed Goldberg was the highlight of the match. This was probobly the best part of the match, not only for sheer brutality (don't mess with THE GAME and his trusty Sledgehammer!)but it will put a smile on the face of anyone who feels Goldberg has no in ring talent. Hey Bill! Time to go back to wrestling school and see if you can learn 2 more moves to add to the 2 you know. WWE PPV's are usually 8 matches in length, but due to an injury suffered by Zach Gowan, the Gowan vs. Matt Hardy match didn't happen.

Review: Summerslam is the second biggest PPV of the year, only behind Wrestlemania. This card looks good on paper, but in the end failed miserably. World Tag Team Championship
La Resistance (C) vs. Dudley Boyz
Boring match between two stale tag teams. La Resistance are two green and their gimmick is getting old. Decent ending with the "photographer" costing the Duds. * Undertaker vs. A-Train
A decent match, though not really entertaining. I guess it's the best you can get. *1/2 Shane McMahon vs. Eric Bishoff
Why put three bad matches in a row? Pretty brutal match (and not in a good way). But it's expected from two non-wrestlers. Decent Coach turn. * Fatal-Four Way for the U.S. Title
Eddie Guerrero(C) vs. Chris Benoit vs. Tajiri vs. Rhyno
Decent match considering the length of the match (or lack thereof). Pretty good athleticism. *** WWE Title
Kurt Angle (C) vs. Brock Lesnar
Finally a good match. Though not a good as their match at Wrestlemania, still an excellent match between the two. Finish was weird, as Lesnar reached the ropes several time, but Angle didn't break the hold. **** Kane vs. RVD
Only other decent match of the night, but was below expectations. Several blown spots cost this match. *** Elimination Chamber for the World Title

Wow, this was a horrible match. Now, I'm not a HHH basher, but HHH (due to injury) was not on the top of his game. Goldberg squashing HBK and Y2J just left a bad taste in my mouth *

Great match, but if you are looking for a great chamber match get Survivor Series 2002. 9/10 This PPV was great, a must have.

Rhyno vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit vs. Tajiri:It took a little to long, and Eddie barely fought. 3 out of 5 World Tag Team Championship
Dudley Boyz vs. La Restistance:Bad Ending. Just plain boring.2 out of 5 Shane McMahon vs. Eric Bishoff:Very Funny Match. Very Surprising Match.Good Ending. 4 out of 5 Undertaker vs. A-Train:A very boring match. The best part was when Undertaker held Sable for Stephanie McMahon to get a few punches on her. 2 out of 5 Rob Van Dam vs. Kane:A barbaric Match. Lots of weapons. HHH vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho vs. GOLDBERG vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Kevin Nash:The beginning was boring but when GOLDBERG came out, it was pretty cool to watch him beat the crap out of Michaels, Jericho, and Randy Orton. Even though HHH won the match, GOLDBERG made the match good. 4 out of 5. The Second Elimination Chamber was not as good as the first, but the DVD is a good pay per view. I guarrente that you will be happy with your purchase.

Review: all mathces are crap except for the fatal fourway for the us tilte and the shane mcmahon maatch. no titles changed hands and compared it to summer slam 2000, 2001 2002, it not worth buying nor paying 35 bucks for pay per veiw. main event was rubish it didnt take that long and hbk and kevin nash could og done better.
pay per views should be reduced to 21 bucks like in england. Also in england some of the pay per views are free. It is a joke. buy survivor series 2003.

This match was actually pretty good. I could have sworn Dudley Boyz were going to win. I didn't like the ending. ** 3/4 A-Train VS Undertaker
This match was alittle on the boring side even though I like Undertaker. At least it was kept short. The ending where Stephanie returns and attacks Sable was great. ** Eric Bischoff VS Shane McMahon
This match was unforgettable. Finally someone else can kick Eric Bischoff's ass. I was surprised when Coach hit Shane with the chair. After that the whole thing was alot better. *** Eddie Guerrero VS Chris Benoit VS Rhyno VS Tajiri
This was the second greatest match of the night. Fast pased and at the edge of your seat. Many near falls. **** 1/2 Kurt Angle VS Brock Lesnar
Amazing. Even better than matches Angle had with Benoit & Edge. Every moment was gold. I hope they have Angle & Lesnar p. 4. Loved it when Kurt ANGLE SLAMMED Vince through a chair. ***** Kane VS Rob Van Dam
This watch was okay. Alittle slow but picked up later. Ladder could have been used more and the match could have been better. *** HHH VS Goldberg VS Y2J VS HBK VS Randy Orton VS Kevin Nash
Worst match ever. Was a serious disappintment. Kevin Nash was pinned 2 minutes after he came out but destroyed everyone in his path after he lost (except his buddy HBK). Orton doesn't even deserve to look at a sign of the WWE let alone be in a match, let alone the MAIN EVENT! He did nothing to help the match. HBK & Y2J carried the match on their shoulders but not even they could save it. After Goldberg came out it sucked. he destroyed everything in his view. That is really annoying. Triple H's only offense was hitting Goldberg with the sledghammer then pinning him so he can keep it an extra month. I hated this match so bad for multiple reasons. I hate Orton, I hate Triple H, and I hate Goldberg. ** (for Y2J/HBK's effort) Overall: Okay PPV not great though *** 1/2

Review: Dudleyz vs. La Resistance- Meh at the ending, but a good match overall. 7/10 Undertaker vs. A-Train- YUCKY. It's basically what you can expect from taker post '98. 2/10 Shane O Mac vs. Bischoff- What an awesome match. Coach's heel turn really took me aback. Great if you're a fan of the hardcore, extreme Shane O Mac. 8.5/10 Fatal 4 way for the US title- Benoit vs. Guerrero vs. Rhyno vs. Tajiri- great match. 4 very good atheletes. Loved it when Benoit had the crippler crossface at the same time as when Guerrero had the El Paso Lasso. It rocked. 8/10 Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar- holy crap this was an awesome match. I've yet to see Lesnar/Angle from mania 19, but I find it hard to believe that it owned this one. 10/10 RVD vs. Kane, no holds barred- RVD was simply awesome in this match. I promise, you'll love it even if you don't like Kane. The only part I didn't care for was the ending. 9.5/10 Elimination chamber for the Raw title: HHH/Goldberg/Nash/RandyOrton/HBK/Y2J- I hated how Goldberg squashed everyone at one point but it had some truly great, memorable moments. I wont spoil it for you ;), but it's great, trust me. 8.5/10 All in all, a very good Summerslam. Five very entertaining and exciting matches in my opinion.
