Summary: worst wrestlemania next to wrestlemania 9
Review: The crowd was not into this at all. The live preformances were really bad.

1. WWE IC Title Match: William Reagle vs. RVD
This was not bad but it was too short. In my oppinon skip watching this match
Rating:** 2/5

2. WWE European Title Match: DDP vs. Christian
This match was better than i expected. I thought DDP shouldn't have been the European Champ. Some cool things happen in this match
Rating:*** 3/5

3. WWE Hardcore Title: Maven vs. Goldust
Not very exciting. This is not a wrestlemania caliber match. It lasted through the whole nigh. I am glad Crash didnt win the title at all.
Rating:** 2/5

4. Kane vs. Angle
This match was awesome. Some high impact moves. It was a very pleasing performance by both WWE superstars.
Rating:**** 4/5

5. Ric Flair vs. Undertaker
OK. I didn't want to see the Undertaker get his 10th win at wrestlemania against Ric Flair.
Rating:** 2/5

6. Edge vs. Boker T
This was very good. Better than i expected. It was funny when Edge screwed up off the top rope. This was very fast paced. It was exciting to watch.
Rating:***.5 3.5/5

7. SCSA vs. Scott Hall w/ Kev Nash
This wasnt the best match on this dvd. It was good. I expected a better match between these to very good wrestlers.
Rating:*** 3/5

8. Four Team Elimination Match for Tag Titles: Billy & Chuck vs. The Hardyz vs. The Dudleyz vs. APA
This was pretty good. I liked this match. Jeff & Matt deserved to win this but no Billy & Chuck had to win at Wrestlemania. Dissapointing ending. I wanted the APA to do well in this match but the got eliminated in the first five seconds.
Rating:***.5 3.5/5

9. Rocky Maivia vs. Hulk "Brother" Hogan
Most of this match was taunting. When they wrestled it was pretty exciting. It was better then i expected. I thought it would take hogan 100 years to do the leg drop.
Rating:*** 3/5

10. Womens Title: Jazz vs. Lita vs. Trish
Boring. Like any other womens matches.
Rating: 0/5

11. Udisputed Title: Jericho vs. HHH
Very exciting. There were a lot of high impact moves. It was the best match on here
Rating:****.5 4.5/5

Summary: An Excellent Wrestlemania
Review: Wrestlemania 18 would go down as the event that showed an icon vs. icon fight. This event was just great not only is it held in Canada but it showed some old stars such as Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair with some long time WCW and ECW stars like DDP, Booker T, and Rob Van Dam. A great event, with no bad match at all.

Match Review (out of 5 Stars)

Intercontinental Championship: Rob Van Dam vs. William Regal - Usually Regal would bore me to death but not in this match, it was a lot of fun to watch with RVD's high flying moves and Regal's ground moves meshing together to bring a great opening match. (4 Stars)

European Championship: DDP vs. Christian - A good match (Christian's entrance ROCKED!!!) but a little short. DDP did some great moves like a great looking powerbomb. (3 Stars)

Hardcore Championship: Maven vs. Goldust - Actually to comment this match you have to include Crash Holly, Spike Dudley, Al Snow, Christian, Molly Holly, The Hurricane, The Godfather, and the hoes in this match as they participated backstage with the 24/7 rule. The real match though lasted less than 2 min. but the backstage segments were entertaining. (3 Stars)

Kurt Angle vs. Kane - This was a really good match, Kane is not really that exciting but leave it to Kurt Angle to make every run smooth. The only problem was the lame finish. (4 Stars)

The Undertaker vs. Ric Flair - The match started out slow with nothing but punches but it eventually became a rip roaring match with the use of some great power moves, some dirty tricks, and of course the use of weapons. (4 Stars)

Booker T vs. Edge - It could have been longer but this match was sweet and well done. Both are great athletes and Edge's version of the Spinnaronie was hilarious. (3 Stars)

Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall - Hmmm not as great as I would have thought. They had the ability to make this match a classic but it was not. Austin had some classic matches recently before the event like against Kurt Angle or Jericho and Scott Hall had some great matches as well, like against HBK. Instead Austin just brawled and Scott Hall and Nash just look helpless against one man whose knee was banged up a few days before the event. Oh well, It a good match nevertheless. (3 Stars)

Tag Team Championship: The Dudley Boyz vs. APA vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. Billy and Chuck - A good match, nothing special or Wrestlemania like if compared to the previous Wrestlemania 2000 and Wrestlemania 17 Tag Team Championship Matches. (3 Stars)

Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock - Considering Hogan is like in his late 40's early 50's I can understand why Hogan looked kind of sloppy. Nevertheless it was the crowd reaction and the historical importance that made this match a classic. I liked the match a ton of suspense and near falls, both worked well together and a perfect storybook ending. (4 Stars)

Women's Championship: Lita vs. Jazz vs. Trish Stratus - For the first time in WWF/E history I was very satisfied with a Women's match. Jazz and Lita seem to be veterans while Trish Stratus is improving quite well. A year ago I would have said the Trish didn't belong in the ring but now I am eating my words. (4 Stars)

Undisputed WWF Championship: Triple H vs. Chris Jericho - Too bad the crowd was kind of dead this was a good match. Like always both Jericho and Triple H worked well together although it would have been nice to see them surpass their Last Man Standing match 2 years ago. With Hogan vs. Rock having such a great crowd reaction, I would have expected a 5 Star match between Jericho and Triple. It did not, unfortunately but it was still a nice way to end Wrestlemania with a World title match. (4 Stars)

Summary: A great Wrestlemania to have in your collection!
Review: An ultimate match for the ages! Rock-Hogan in a very symbolic passing-of-the-torch match. Hulkamaniacs will shed tears when they see him return to the ring for the first time in years, and how the crowd rejuvinated his career in one night. Wrestlemania is the Showcase of the Immortals and this one does not fall short of that title.

Summary: THE MATCH OF THE CENTURY!!!!
Review: No one ever imagined that old school would meet new school. I am talking about the match between Hulk Hogan and The Rock. I never thought in my wildest dreams that this match would take place. I was so excited that I couldn't wait for the DVD to be released. The NWO coming in to cause trouble was OK, but the matches that came about from that was the brightest idea Vince ever had. I recommend the DVD cause of all the extras. I recommend any of the DVDs cause they contain extras you will not get on VHS.

Summary: The goody-two-shoes throw out the rule book and get nasty.
Review: Well, this wasn't the greatest Wrestlemania ever by any means, but there were a LOT of very well-done matches and a little bit of history to add flavor.
Most everybody's probably seen this Pay-Per-View by now; and while it wasn't the best, it was certainly one of the longest. Ten huge matches in the Mania itself, culminating with Triple H's Undisputed Title victory over Chris Jericho. Of course, this was a few matches after arguably the most historic matchup in pro wrestling history: Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock. Although the match was great, the exhausted crowd had nothing left after 'Icon vs. Icon', so it seemed as though the sold-out Skydome wasn't even into it.
The DVD set comes with a plethora of extras, which is standard WWE fare. Interviews, next-night ramifications, you name it. And, like the WWE itself, the X8 DVD has its ups and downs. The best moments on the DVD to me were the Rock interview, William Regal vs. Rob Van Dam, and of course Hogan vs. Rock. I could've done without the live band performances; either the sound equipment was malfunctioning, or the bands were just plain bad (probably a little bit of both). Also, that stale four-way dance for the tag titles never should have happened.
The best feature on the DVD set by far, though, is the little trip in the Wayback Machine that is the main event from Wrestlemania VI between Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior. The 30-minute marathon match that changed not only the guard, but the very face of the then-WWF. A true clash of the titans, seeing this match again in its entirety brought back memories of youth and durn near brought a tear to my eye. Hopefully this will pave the way for more classic WWF DVDs in the future.
It had its moments, both good and bad, but all in all this is a pretty wise investment for wrestling fans who want tastes of old and new school in the same shot.

Summary: 2 1/2 Actually but still.
Review: It was an entertaining program no doubt about it but compared to WmX7 this is nothing. Casual fans and those who have not seen WmX7 will probably enjoy this. There where some good matches but they and the rest were like extended SmackDown and Raw matches. Anyways here you go:

Intercontinental Championship
William Regal Vs. RVD Alright opener but RVD should have faced a better opponent so he could really showcase what he can do. (7/10

European Championship
DDP vs. Christian 5.5/10 alright match but not Wrestlemania quality.

Hardcore Championship
Maven Vs. Goldust (1/10) Horrible! Compared to last year's Hardcore title match at WmX7 this is just stupid. the backstage parts were funny but this is the Hardcore title!

Edge Vs. Booker T (6/10) not wrestlemania quality

Kane Vs. Kurt Angle 5.5 alright match once again not wm quality and they had better matches before.

Ric Flair Vs. Undertaker 3.5/10 i really have no clue why people liked this

Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Scott Hall 6.5/10 fun match but could have been better

WWF Tag Team Championship
Billy and Chuck Vs. Dudley Boyz Vs. Hardy Boyz vs. APA
Boooo! 3/10

Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock 10/10

Triple Threat Match for the Women's Championship
Jazz Vs. Lita Vs. Trish Stratus 7/10 could have been better

Undisputed WWF Championship
Chris Jericho (w/ Stephanie McMahon) vs. Triple H 7/10
horrible build up alright match but not main event wrestlemania quality

Overall no TLc , no good street fight, no suspense filled matches really no really good scientific wrestling no real moments that you will never forget.

Summary: Three classic, distinctive matches
Review: I felt that the three classic matches in the tenure of Wrestlemania x-8 transcend the previous Wrestlemania, which possesses merely two classic matches. The classic, superlative matches of Wrestlemania x-8 were the distinguished Ric Flair versus the Undertaker bout, the Rock versus Hulk Hogan match, and the technical endeavor between Triple H and Chris Jericho. The classic, extraordinary match between Chris Jericho and Triple H outdistanced the main event of the previous Wrestlemania with its integrated moves of the Death lock, the figure-four leg lock, the Stretch muffler, the front atomic drop, the spinning toe hold, the Walls of Jericho, and the neck wrench. Many considered the previous main event to transcend the one of Wrestlemania x-7, but last year's main event was comprised of incessant sharpshooters, one superplex, and asinine bleeding and lying in the center of the ring. I consider the main event of Wrestlemania x-8 to be more technically breathtaking and more conciliating to those who fancy the technical aspect of wrestling, which I believe is the component more difficult to attain than the product of Wrestlemania x-7. The classic bouts of Wrestlemania x-7 were Kurt Angle Versus Chris Benoit and the TLC match, and while the TLC match was composed of scintillating stunts, the other classic bout was much more embroiled in technical wrestling. I contend that the Ric Flair/Undertaker match was untailored and austere, increasing the entertainment value of the match. The Rock/Hogan match's quantity of stimulation pivots around the anticipation, the potency of the audience behind Hogan, and the resurrection of Hulkamania. The only derived match on the card was the Steve Austin/Scot Hall match, and following this nonsensical, lackadaisical "match" both Hall and Austin are not in the WWE much longer. The following matches of the card are discussed below:

Rob Van Dam versus William Regal *** A match of exhilaration and pertness but nothing more

Kurt Angle Versus Kane **** This is not the most technical match on the card simply because of the constraint of Kurt's abilities with a larger opponent, but both men sustain the betrothed audience's attention with suplexes and powerbombs.

Three-Way-Dance for the Women's Title **** The most integrated match on the card, enterprising backdrops, single-legged Boston crabs, jump swinging DDTs, Fisherman suplexes, a moonsault, an STF, a bulldog, a stunt rider stretch, and several other abilities I believed were only discerned in men matches.

DDP versus Christian *** I enjoyed the Rear naked choke drop, the Spiral bomb, and the Rear naked with stretch moves, but these were the only facilities to espouse the attention of the audience.

Hardcore Title Match * This was added to the card for no reason but features several pinfall attempts in the actual match, such as the cross arm cradle pin, the ghost pin, and the small package.

Four-Corner-Elimination match for the WWE Tag Team Championship *** This was enjoyable to some extent but surprisingly slow for these distinctive competitors, and it required an miraculous "bump" by D-von to rouse the audience. This was enervated and ghastly in comparison to the TLC match of last year's Wrestlemania, and I believe that simply because Wrestlemania x-7 possesses one of the greatest matches of all time in the TLC match, this does not bequeath Wrestlemania x-7 with the distinction as the greatest mania of all time.

Edge Versus Booker T **** this was an illustrious contest considering the time limit and the gesticulation of two superstars who are held back and, therefore, relatively unknown with the audience.

Summary: Wrestle Mania 18
Review: Well lets see here this is the 18th WrestleMania for the WWF now known as WWE which sounds really dumb..and the main event was Triple H v. Chris Jericho for the Undisputed Championship and they advertise Rock v. Hogan and that wasnt even the main event ..now c'mon dont u think the Hogan and Rock match shoulda been the main event if they advertised it more...but oh well..over all the PPV was ok a few borin matches couple dumb band performances to waste time but this wasnt good enough to be a Wrestle Mania if u wanna watch a wrestle mania buy X-7...or 10 sumthin like that...

Summary: Poison to the nWo
Review: I only started to watch the WWF in 2001. I started to watch it when the Alliance was in the WWF.

Vince McMahon bought in the nWo as an leathal dose of poison to the WWF, but Hollywood Hulk Hogan was poison to the nWo. After WrestleManiam, Hulk Hogan resigned from the nWo.

Possibly the best WrestleMania ever! The Matches were:

Intercontinental Championship
William Regal Vs. RVD (4/10) A great way to start WrestleMania!

European Championship
DDP vs. Christian (2/10) Get that crybaby Christian a diaper!

Hardcore Championship
Maven Vs. Goldust (5/10) Unique Championship. The Hardcore Belt was passed to 4 people during the show.

Edge Vs. Booker T (5/10)

Kane Vs. Kurt Angle (6/10) Great Match, but the big red machine didn't win.

Ric Flair Vs. Undertaker (7/10) Ric Flair gave it all in this match-up, but the deadman won.

Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Scott Hall (4/10) Scott Hall had Kevin Nash down at ringside to help him beat Austin, but to no avail.

WWF Tag Team Championship
Billy and Chuck Vs. Dudley Boyz Vs. Hardy Boyz vs. APA
(6/10)

Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock (10/10) Truly, The match of the year!

Triple Threat Match for the Women's Championship
Jazz Vs. Lita Vs. Trish Stratus (7/10)

Undisputed WWF Championship
Chris Jericho (w/ Stephanie McMahon) vs. Triple H (9/10)
Chris Jericho didn't deserve to be the undisputed champion in the first place. And that story with Stephanie and Triple H was annoying the hell out of me.

All in All, a good pay-per-view!
