Rating: Summary: okay but wm 19 will be better Review: this wrestlemania was okay but it didnt have very much action in it. the main event for the undisputed championship was way predictible and the rock vs. hogan match was dumb. wrestlemania 19 will be proven to be the best wrestlemania ever including the Rock vs. Goldberg match. I cant wait to see the rock get speared and jackhammered. Also Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar in a really wrestling match so we will get to see what is better winning a gold medal for wrestling or being an NCAA champion. so you can either get this okay dvd or you can wait until an awesome wrestlemania comes out. take my advice i'm right. p.s. I will be at wrestlemania 19 in seattle see ya
Rating: Summary: So Much Luster, So Much Lack Review: This had one of the most exciting cards of all time, however, the event just did not deliver for one reason or another. Out of 5 stars. . . IC Championship: William Regal (c) vs. Rob Van Dam. 3 stars, good opener, if not a little obvious in the outcome, but RVD did not go all out for WrestleMania. This is the second WrestleMania in a row that Regal has opened in and IC title match. European Championship: Diamond Dallas Page (c) vs. Christian. 3 stars, good match, but was really just there to fill up time, and you can tell by the quality of work. Hardcore Championship: Maven (c) vs. Goldust. 2 stars, This match continued on throughout the night, however, with those mini-matches ranging in star-value, but the "mother match" seemed very out of place. Kane vs. Kurt Angle. 3 and a half stars, good match, but not what I've come to expect from these two very experienced workers. Disappointing, but still very good. Ric Flair vs. Undertaker. 3 and a half stars, okay match, but WAY too long, with so many slow spots that I actually drift off every time I try to watch it now. Props to Arn Anderson for the best spine buster I've ever seen. Edge vs. Booker T. 4 stars, very good match, but they weren't given enough time, thus not being able to tell the story. Granted the story line [stunk], but still a great match. Stone Cold vs. Scott Hall. 3 and a half stars, okay match, but nothing special AT ALL. I don't understand, why, if Scott Hall was such a long shot, they didn't just do Stone Cold vs. Nash. I would have rather seen that anyway. Oh well, just one man's opinion. Tag Team Championship: Billy & Chuck (c) vs. Hardyz vs. APA vs. Dudleyz. 4 stars, good match, good storytelling, but lackluster after the last to WrestleMania tag title matches. Screwjob ending takes the rating down. The Rock vs. Hollywood Hulk Hogan. 4 stars, very fun match, but despite how much Rocky desperately carries Hogan, the old boat-anchor still slows it down to unbearable levels. Still, very fun and very good. Women's Championship: Jazz (c) vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus. 3 stars, good women's match, if not a little anti-climactic. But why did they keep that belt on Miss Charisma instead of giving it to home town girl or Miss eXtreme??? Undisputed Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Triple H. 4 stars, a good match, but lackluster for the main event. The crowd was kind of out of it after the exhausting icon vs. icon. A little too long, with Jericho dragging it down with too much technicality, and Triple H with too much falling down and whining. Steph is MVP of the match.
Rating: Summary: One of the Best Review: I knew after the match was made after No Way Out that Hogan vs. Rock would be the most entertaining, if not greatest, Wrestlemania match of all time. On 3/17/02, they proved me right. Hogan proved to all doubters, who obviously still like to slander him, that even at 48 years of age, he can do what he could do when he was 30 and that is entertain. Hogan and Rock caused an effect on the crowd that not even Rock and Austin could do last year. For almost 30 minutes, the two of them brought the Skydome's roof down! Here are the ratings for the matches. 1) IC title: RVD vs. Regal- It could have been better but it was good. Regal really had a hard time keeping up with RVD though. 3/5 2) European title: Christian vs. DDP- DDP always wanted to wrestle at a Mania and he got a chance. Good match but a little disappointing. 2.75/5 3) Hardcore Title- Maven vs. Goldust, Spike, Crash, Hurricane, Al Snow, Molly, and Christian.- I am a big fan of Goldust. He is the most underrated person the WWE has to offer. But the hardcore environment is just not his forte. And a blown dropkick into a trash can by Maven didn't help matters nor did the....Why am I wasting my time on this?...2/5 4) Kurt Angle vs. Kane- The ending was horrible in my opinion but the match was pretty good.- 3.5/5 5) Undertaker vs. Ric "Nature caught up with me" Flair- Ric Flair may not be as good as he once was but what a hell of a match he had with Taker. Both are legends and icons in this company and this 25-minute blood bath was a classic. 5/5 6) Edge vs. Booker T- The FIGHT OVER SHAMPOO- Stupid storyline deserves a stupid match which it didn't get as Booker and Edge put on a decent match. 4/5- one point for both the Spin-a-Rooni and the Edge-a-rooni! 7) Scott Hall vs. Stone Cold-WHAT?- This was a great match in my opinion. I am a big fan of both individuals and they did a great job. Double Stunner!-5/5 8) Fatal 4 Way Tag Title Match- BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT OF THE NIGHT!-1/5 for the table spot only. 9) Hogan vs. Rock- See top. 68,171/5. Any additional fans were the Rock's! See top for review. 10) Lita vs. Trish vs. Jazz- I feel sorry for these girls. One they had to go on after Hogan/Rock. And two the crowd was so drained they didn't even care. Girls, this one's for you 4.5/5 11) Cripple H vs. Y2Jobber (w/ Stephanie McMahon)- This is an example of what not to do at a Mania. 1st, don't put the most hyped match of all time before the last spot and 2nd, don't set a feud up where the champ is hardly a factor. This match just was too late in the evening. Good wrestling though. HHH in my opinion is the reason the WWE is in the hole that it is in right now! - 4/5 for Jericho's efforts to put on a great match at his only top spot. This is a great overall Mania. Hopefully WM XIX, in Seattle, will be even better. This WrestleMania proves that Hulkamania will live forever guaranteed!
Rating: Summary: Not the best Wrestlemania Review: Having watched 6 Wrestlemanias, including this 1, i must say that this WM is not the best one, or even close. RVD and Regal face off in a weak opener. This is not a good RVD match, and Regal's matches are always sleepers. European title and Hardcore title matches were both decent, as well as the Kane vs Angle match, but the crowd was still dead. The next few matches are purely blah until we come up to the 4 corner Elimination tag team title match which i must say was somewhat good. The ending is dissapointing but the whole match was pretty good. The womens title match was okay, and its always great to see Trish and Lita wrestle against eachother. Hogan vs Rock, a supposed classic, was a good match. and the main event (keep in mind that by this time, the whole crowd is literally silent and the only cheers they make is at the end). but despite this Chris Jericho vs HHH was a very nice main event, and watching them wrestle eachother is always a pretty much guarentee for a good bout. I dont like this ppv for a few sleepers and for all of the single matches which could have added more people easily (the whole card, aside from 2 or 3 matches, was basically 1 on 1). The crowd was also pretty quiet and dead throughout the whole ppv, so that added on to the 'badness' of this ppv. altogether, i think you should rent this Wrestlemania. if you are looking for good wrestlemanias from recent years, stick to Wrestlemania 14 or 15, which are both great.

Rating: Summary: Old school rules at Mania 18 Review: Okay, I live in a country where wwe programming is nowhere to be found on tv. So I occassionally pick up a dvd of a big event. This one, I just had to have. RVD/Regal: great opener. crowd was pretty much into it (big heat for Regal, and... the crowd does the 3-count, which you don't see that often anymore) Watch the wrestling moves by Regal, wow! RVD also high flying, of course... DDP/Christian: Was pretty okay... Good action. But hey: bit of a crazy storyline>> Christian spits on Toronto here... >>and now he's a proud UnAmerican again... Things can happen [-: Goldust/Maven Come on... so glad wwe got rid of this hardcore B.S. title! Kurt Angle v Kane I must say I really enjoyed this match. Go, Kurt, go! Angle throws around the 300-pounder. Pretty impressive. Flair/Taker Too long, too slow, but a few great spots (the super-suplex, Arn interfering, chops from hell) Booker/Edge Great match... okay the story line [stunk] big time, but the wrestling was good. Of course Booker shoulda won! (Crowd goes wild for the Spin-a-roony) Scott Hall/Stone Cold Damn! This coulda been a great match... I hoped we got to see at least a Razor's Edge and a Jackknife Powerbomb. Instead we get a boring stunnerfest. Dudley Boyz v Hardy Boyz v APA v Billy & Chuck Cool match. Crowd was dead. Some great moves of the Hardy's. The song "get the tables" was completely out of place. Come on, one table... Next year maybe a TLC? Hollywood Hulk Hogan v The Rock Super-main event! This is wrestlemania, baby! Great comeback for Hogan. I never expected such a good match out of him. Rocky puts on a great show, too. Two Rock bottoms and the elbow mark the end of Hogan... and the resurrection of Hulkamania. Jazz v Trish Stratus v Lita I don't like women's matches. By the way the crowd was totally dead after the Big event of Hogan-Rock. Trish looks good, but gets thrown around like a rag doll. Not the worst match, just no fantastic moves... HHH/Y2J Crippled H as a babyface... Y2J as a heel. Jericho pulls out the standard tricks (Lionsault, big dropkick), but doesn't impress. Too bad, cause I'm afraid it will be a long time b4 this great wrestler will be in a main event again..... HHH plays (or is) the poor man in pain. Pedigree here and there.. and we've got a new champion. Yawn. Extra: Warrior/Hogan (from WrestleMania 6) Great match between the two biggest babyfaces of 1990. Champion vs Champion. Hogan passing the torch for the first time. Very cool comments by Bobby the Brain and Gorilla Monsoon (RIP). Over-all: not a superb WM, but Hogan-Rock is one for the ages... plus: Warrior-Hogan and some other great extra's! Worth a watch.

Rating: Summary: Not what it should be Review: While there have been quiet a few worse Wrestlemanias this show fails to live up to the hype. Edge and Booker should have been fighting over a title and not a "Japanese shampoo commercial". The Triple H / Jericho match was one of the most boring main events ever. The Hogan / Rock match lived up to all it should be and the surprise crowd reaction is unbelivable. The etras make this DVD worth it though.
Rating: Summary: finally Hulkamania has come back to Wrestlemania ! Review: Well You got to believe it to see it ! I was cheering for Hulk over the Rock ! The best match at wm in a long time ! Kurt Angle beating Kane never ! HHH is the game !!! He got his title back ! This wm was very good and very entertaining .
