Summary: EVERYTHING BUT AN 8-TRACK!
Review: I first purchased this product from a local Wal-Mart. I was so excited to find a system with a turntable at all much less with all the other popular functions. It is truly the perfect audio system! I decided to purchase another for my mother-in-law, as a Christmas gift. Wal-Mart had sold out of it, and didn't forsee re-ordering so the search was on. I hate to think of the time I wasted on line before looking at amazon.com I had almost given up. I want to thank the GPX/Yorx co. for such a wonderful product and amazon.com for helping me find another one!

Summary: CD changer
Review: I've been moderately satisfied with this product, but one thing has annoyed me and I can't fix it. Soon after I started using it, the CD changer started skipping CDs. Sometimes I'll have 3 CDs in it, but it can't find one to play and will go around and around about 6 times before it finally 'catches'.

Review: my mom got this stereo about a year ago, then my sister in law got one, it has everything except audio inputs and 4 speakers, but for this price it has a lot. my mom likes cds,records,tapes and the radio,. it has it all.it also has a remote. If you require nice and and these options, i would recomend this stereo,enjoy.

Review: This is an awesome cd player and the effects of it are great! When you play one of your favorite cd's in this player you will actully feel like the band is playing the song right next to you live! I highly reccomend this cd player

Summary: Whaddaya Want? It's A Bahgain!
Review: This is an outstanding stereo for the price, especially for the budget-minded who haven't (or can't) transition fully to CD sounds that have dominated the last 15 years. Its sound (although limited, considering speaker size) is deep and rich, and the attached equalizer smoothes sounds that can be bass-heavy. The turntable is more than servicable, the radio limited in range (a wire airial sticking out the back doesn't cut it anymore.) If I have a complaint, it is that GPX has few if any accessories for this system, and cannot accomodate others' accessories. You cannot comfortably attach a signal booster or install more speakers without a splitter. Other than for CD functions, the remote control is only an on-off switch; it would help to at least change radio channels from your chair. Also, GPX is the only electronics company I know without a Web page or even 800 number for service issues. But the price for the quality and variety of this system (somewhat) makes up for these inconveniences.
