The SC-PM18 includes a single-well cassette recorder and a five-CD changer with Panasonic's exclusive MASH (multi-stage noise shaping technology) 1-bit digital-to-analog converter for clear, accurate sound reproduction. And the system plays not only pre-recorded CDs but home-brewed CD-Rs and CD-RWs, too.
