Review: I got this staroe for my birthday and i just set it up {which took almost 5 min.} and turned it on and the sound was amazing from these small speakers.The bass is amazing, it just tumps! I want to keep this stareo for a long time.

Summary: Perfect for the home office
Review: I had mentioned to family that I was considering a small bookshelf system for my home office/guest bedroom, and this one materialized as a Christmas present. It's perfect - the sound is excellent in an 11x12 foot room (it's actually just as powerful as my big set in the living room). The sound quality is a big surprise! It's small enough to fit into just over 2 feet of shelf space. I'm living kind of in the boonies in relation to the city, and the FM antenna pulls in a lot of stations I hadn't been able to get before. Sharp has never let me down - I had a little black and white tv when I was a teenager that lasted me well into my very late 20's. I just know this little set will last a long time.

Summary: Great Sound Quality
Review: I purchased this for work, figuring that for the price if the sound quality wasn't great I'd still be happy. I've been pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the sound is incredible....all types of music at all volumes. I've had issues in the past with systems that lose quality at low volumes, especially when listening to classical music. I have had no problem at all with this system. I plan to purchase another system for my home office. This is a great everyday unit.

Summary: Slow and Clunky
Review: This stereo has decent sound quality, but is a nightmare to try and operate. Maybe I just got a bad unit (I've returned it, anyway), yet even at those rare times when it did work properly, the loading and unloading process was veeerrrrryyyy long. I've worked with many different systems, and this was by far the most tedious. I suppose, for the money, it's about what one could expect. I'm not sold on Sharp, though. Save yourself from frequent boiling frustration and try another stereo.
