Review: I loved the story and normally I give great films five stars but the devastating bombardment of the f-word so many times (over 150) made it lose a star. Matt Damon looks exactly like someone I know back home who lives just like Will Hunting does in the movie. It's like someone just took a video camera, filmed that boy's life, and gave it a movie title. However it's a great story. The song at the end credits is great also.

Review: This is a great film, a real example of substance over style. One of the best-written films I've ever seen, and the fact that two young guys like Affleck and Damon won the Oscar for the script inspired me to start writing my own movies. Robin Williams gives the best performance of his career here.

Summary: Good Will Hunting gives hope to writers!
Review: Get real critics! Damon originally wrote this as a play and tells of one guys life. It is not meant to show the entire socio-economic life in South Boston. As a playwright myself, I felt Damon showed depth beyond his years with this story. I hope Damons success encourages more people, young and old, to express themselves thru writing. We need more "real" from the heart writing in Hollywood.To you critics....Do you like apples?? Well he won an academy award! How do you like those apples??!!

Summary: very good film!
Review: Okay, think about this. First of all, the film was supposed to take place in South Boston, a section of Boston where primarily, working class Irish Catholics reside. And guess what? They swear there, a lot! Okay, I thought I'd like to share that with you all. The plot of GWH is a bit contrived. We have seen similar themes before. However, it is well-acted and holds the viewer's interest. My sole complaint is Robin Williams. He has four different accents during the film, and not one of them resembles a South Boston accent. Get someone else to do it next time!
