Rating: Summary: Steelers 2002--Heart of a Champion Review: A solid DVD recaping the 2002 season for the Steelers as only NFL Flims can. I only give it 4 stars because of no extras.Recommdation to NFL Flims--for team video yearbooks, add a extra or two gain more interest. Aside from that, this DVD is very soild, pointing out how the Steelers overcame deficits of 0-2 and 1-3 to win the AFC North with 2002 Comeback Player of the Year Tommy Maddox running the show. The narration covers different aspects of the team's play during the season, the four-game winning streak in October-early November, and the Steelers' strech run (winning five of six). Plus, highlights of the playoff game against Cleveland and Tennessee are shown, with a look ahead towards 2003 (a dissapointment). Seeing the 2003 Steelers will likely make any Steelers fam appreciate 2002 all the more.
Rating: Summary: Year of TD Tommy Review: Great video! The 2002 Steelers went in as Super Bowl contenders after finishing 13-3 in 2001. The team Started out slowly getting blown out in there first two games, and the erratic play of Kordell Stewart. IN week 3 a thrilling comeback vs the Browns brought out Tommy Maddox, an NFL Castoff as well as former insurance man. It was an up and down season for the Steelers, including a humiliating loss to the expansion Houston Texans, plus a threatening neck injury for Maddox. The team clinched the AFC North with an upset win vs the eventual SB champions, the Buccaneers on MNF to finish 10-5-1. In the wildcard round the Steelers faced the hated Cleveland Browns. Down 24-7 in the 3rd quarter, the season looked lost. Maddox mounted one of the greatest comebacks ever for a 36-33 win. Maddox was named comeback player of the year. The Steelers' eventually lost in ot to the titans the next week. But, it was a thrilling season, hopefully the Steelers will get back to there winning ways in 2004.
