Summary: Outstanding DVD!!!
Review: This DVD is much, much, much better than the New England Patriots Super Bowl XXXVI DVD. It is a must have for all Patriots fans.First, the hour-long recap of the season through the Super Bowl was nicely done. My only quibble here is that it would have been nice to have more details on the regular season and playoff games-more highlights, more commentary, and more inside information. Nevertheless, it was complete and well done. THE BEST THING ABOUT THE DVD IS THE ENTIRE GAME BROADCAST IS ON IT. This is a fabulous addition to the DVD and makes it even better. Now I already have the game on VHS since I taped it (as I do Super Bowl XXXVI) but having it on the DVD is just a huge bonus. The other special features are great too. The NFL Match-Up segment was superb. And the short pre and post game interviews were interesting. Very well done and highly recommended.

Summary: For the TRUE fan
Review: This is the type of DVD we've always hoped for. Excellent behind the scenes material and great interviews from before and after the game. But what makes this DVD so GREAT is that they show the entire game as the world audience saw it(with the great Dick Stockton at the mike) with no commercials, time-outs, or even huddles. For important plays, they show replays as they aired on the broadcast. (I think they did this feature for the first time to lure TiVo users to the DVD). The recaps and highlights from the other games where pefectly short. Simply the best one of these "season" productions I've ever seen.

Review: This is, in my opinion, the best Super Bowl ever! So the DVD can't be that far behind. The New England Patriots were an amazing team to watch this year! GO PATS!

Summary: Great review of Pats season
Review: This was a brilliant and simple "yearbook" of the Pats season. The one thing that I found truly enjoyable was the "World Broadcast" of the Super Bowl with the CBS Radio team doing the play-by-play. The broadcast was captured in High Definition, so when you play this back on your DVD the images are breathtaking. Having watched the game (and VHS taped it) with a standard tuner, it provides a completely different and more vivid images (without all the superflous Super Bowl adds, replays, time outs).
The NFL Edge Matchup rebroadcasts that were on the last two NFL Film Yearbook DVDs is also a great "time capsule" of what was en vogue in scheming each year....

Review: This was an awesome game! Very good playing by both teams, but the Patriots once again prove that they are the best. Adam Vinatieri's 41-yard field goal was an amazing end to the game. Buy this DVD!

Summary: Could it get any more exciting?
Review: To heck with big summer blockbusters. If I want to raise my pulse rate without the dangerouse exercise I just pop in a Patriots Superbowl DVD. My "Team of Destiny" pulls out another victory in the last seconds of play in one of the most intense Super Bowls of all time. It is very late here in Mass and the words aren't coming very easily. Just buy this DVD. What a freakin' game!!!

Summary: NFL Films does it better than ever!
Review: Two years ago, I laughed at some of the reviews of the Patriots' DVD for that first championship season, as I found it ludicrous that people could actually complain that the DVD did not contain the complete Super Bowl game. As I stated at the time in an Amazon.com review, when had NFL Films ever done that? Well, with this DVD, that has changed. In one of the best "extra features" you could ever ask for on a DVD, every play of the Super Bowl is included--in an edited "world broadcast" that cuts out breaks between plays and commercials. You get to see every play of one of the best Super Bowls ever in just under 70 minutes. Incredible to say the least! Other extras such as "EA Sports", media day before the Super Bowl, and the post-Super Bowl player comments are also decent features, but the "world broadcast" takes the cake. So how about the main feature, which is a highlight film of the entire Patriots season? Well, as usual with NFL Films, the job done with that is top-notch. Sure, diehard fans could always ask for more details to be included at certain points in the season (I can think of a few); but overall I'd say all the best of this amazing Patriots season is there. From the opening day humiliating 31-0 loss to Buffalo through the 15-game winning streak culminating with one of the most exciting and bizarre Super Bowls of all time, all games are covered. For sure, Patriots fans will love this; and diehard NFL fans (who don't hate the Pats, that is) will also likely enjoy it. If this is to be considered the sequel to the first Patriots Super Bowl Champions video, this sequel is every bit as good as the original. Strongly recommended as a wonderful collection of memories and highlights that Patriots fans will want to watch again and again.

Summary: Super Disappointment
Review: Well, it all feels perfect looking back, doesn't it? The DVD of the 2003 Pats season is such a pleasure to watch. NFL films does it again, bringing us a DVD with flawless summary of each game, the entire Superbowl to watch again and again, player interviews, international press coverage, and many more extras. All of this is done with an electric spirit that matches the dream of a season perfectly. I get chills watching those snowy playoff game summaries. Check those out in particular, football at it's very best. As a DVD it's very easy to navigate and it looks great, but in the end it's all about football, pure and simple. Which is perfect, watching it reminds you of what pro sports should be all about. For every Patriots fan this DVD comes highly recommended--no matter what the future brings you can always have this perfect reminder of 2003 and how purely exciting the games were, how great the team was, and how inspiring it was to be CHAMPIONS, yet again...buy it as an antidote to the "Cowboy Up" Red Sox 2003 DVD!
