Description:
Pushing the boundaries of what's possible in a highly affordable VCR, Samtron's SV-G92 gives you not only a VHS player/recorder but a four-head hi-fi stereo model with a few other tricks up its proverbial sleeve. You can store and display recording data using a feature called record file; you can instantaneously kick the unit into record mode with one-touch recording; and you can capture all your programs in "set and forget" fashion using one-month, eight-event programming. The SV-G92 uses HQ (high-quality) video circuitry and special recording-and-playback technology that enhances the VCR's picture. HQ circuitry maximizes the white level to eliminate edge crawl, enhances details, improves the signal-to-noise ratio by reducing the noise of black/white signal for a more natural picture (luminance noise reduction), and increases the color sharpness with a feedback comb filter (chromanance noise reduction). Other features include MTS stereo decoding, 19-micron heads for better-quality picture in SLP (extended-play) mode, auto power-off, a trilingual onscreen display (English, Spanish, French), high-speed (400x) rewind, slow-motion playback, and digital auto-tracking.
