Rating: Summary: Some features do not work well. Review: Movie advance is marginal at best for getting right to the movie. Many times it just keeps going forward without stopping. Also, the auto time set feature is very selective as to what cable system it will work with. I could not find one time source station (Time Warner Cable).
Rating: Summary: vcr BLUES Review: This unit is the closest I could come to matching VR555, an RCA vcr I have been very pleased with. However, even though VR639HF has all the same features, it does not tell you what is going on in the VCR display window. It is also a very noisy machine when it ejects or accepts a tape. I was also disappointed with the remote, which has no mute or volume control. I miss too, the HI & BYE which I had with the other VCR.
