Rating: Summary: Are You Smelling What The Rock Is Cooking? Review: Do you want to know what I think about the Rock's DVD? Let me tell you,...It doesn't matter what I think about this DVD! If you're a fan of WWF, this is a must have along with other great WWF DVDs - get it now Jabroni!
Rating: Summary: Know your Role and buy this DVD Review: Finaly The Rock has come back to DVD. If you were to own any DVD this should be the one. Ive watched it for more than 6 hours in the past two days. This has everything The Rock's colorful interviews, electrifying promos, and riveting matches. I laugh every time I watch this DVD, it never gets old! So grab yourself a big tall glass of Jabroni Juice and buy this DVD.
Rating: Summary: The most electrifying video ever! Review: I got this DVD in 2002. At first it was boring but after he started talking trash about other people i started enjoying it.my favorite part was when michael cole was laughing. It was more like a comedy.I already saw that DVD like about 500 times because it was so fun and hilarius.Theres no shadow of a doubt that rock is the most electryfying wrestler ever!
Rating: Summary: If you like the WWF and the Rock... this is a must buy Review: I got this video lately and it is definatly not what I expected. I thought it would be a boring biography. But it wasn't. It covers everything throughout 1999. All the way to January 2000. All the matches, promos, interviews, and much more. It has a lot of special footage and some really really fun stuff. This is an -----EXCELLENT----- video! I really suggest you buy it if you like the WWF and/or The Rock. You can get it really cheap here at Amazon.com. I suggest you buy it. It's worth your buy.
Rating: Summary: Shine this DVD real good, turn it sideways and... Review: I know a lot of "wrestling purists" and "hardcore fans" like to chip away at The Rock for his "limited wrestling ability" or because that's what they're supposed to do when someone becomes a mainstream success. Well, as The Rock says, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THEY THINK!!! This DVD highlights why I became a WWF fan again for the first time since the champion was some hulking, balding guy. Who cares if The Rock's signature move is a simple albeit "simply electrifying" elbow drop? The reason he's "The People's Champ" is because he's the coolest, cockiest, funniest, greatest trash-talking athlete to grace us with his presence since Cassius Clay challenged Sonny Liston.
Rating: Summary: THE PEOPLE'S VIDEO Review: IF YOU SMELLLLLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN. THIS IS A MUST HAVE TAPE FOR ANY OF THE MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF THE ROCKS FANS. YOU SEE THE GREAT ONE AT SOME OF HIS BEST MATCHES ALSO SOME AND HIS MOST FUNNIEST LINES. IF YOU BUY ONE WRESTLING TAPE. THIS HAS TO BE IT.
Rating: Summary: Great compilation, especially on the promos Review: In truth, the Rock's continuing story entitled "The People's Champ" is a little light on his matches. It matters little, as most of The Rock's best moments occur not in the ring (where he has also had several classic match-ups, particularly showcased here with Triple H and the Big Show), but on the microphone. The Rock simply has a knack for coming up with these catchy phrases. He literally has dozens of them - he is kind of like Johnny Cash in that he can make up a phrase on Monday and have the whole crowd repeating it on Thursday. All of those classic phrases and promos are highlighted on this DVD. And did I mention that the Rock 'N Sock Connection, one of the best and most humurous angles in WWF history, is given significant screen time? The DVD extras are also well-done for the time this DVD was released. A decent slide show, and yet ANOTHER look at promos is featured. A must-have for WWF fans, and worth consideration to people who hate the sport.
