Rating: Summary: KOTR 2000 Review: I saw King of the Ring 2000 and it was excellent. The main event was Triple H,Vince and Shane vs. The Rock,Kane and Undertaker. The Rock pinned Triple H to become a 5-time world champ. Kurt Angle won the KOTR tournament. Other matches were Gerald Brisco vs. Pat Patterson, D-X vs. Dudleyz and a tag team elimination match featuring Too Cool, T & A, Hardyz and Edge and Christian.
Rating: Summary: We should be proud of our beloved olympic king! Review: If only you felt the tears that I felt when our olympic hero pinned that fat evil, constipated blob that we call Rikishi Phatu! No, they were not tears of sadness, they were tears of joy and happiness! Our olympic hero deserved to win that tournament! It's true! It's true! In case you haven't noticed, I have bragged about and defended our olympic gold medal winner for a number of WWF PPVs (such as Wrestlemania 2000 on VHS, although you may have to search for a while, I wrote a damn good article there. It's true! It's true! And even Survivor Series 99' on VHS, when our hero made his triumphant debut. I write good articles. Trust me.) Anyway, back to the subject. I dropped to my knees immedieatly and began to quickly shed my tears for our now olympic king right as that skinny referee hit the three count over that fat a** Rikishi! The children and the millions and millions of AJ's fans deserve a true King of the ring. Kurt Angle is cool. From that damn Olympic Slam,to his wonderful three I's, and then on to his easy to learn catch phrases for the children. It's true! It's true! So think about it. Did you want that "Island boy" Rikishi: a man stupid enough to run over Steve Austin, or Queen Kurt Angle: Eurocontinintal champ, current WWF champion, olympic gold medalist: to win the match and become the 1st ever KOR of this mellenium? The choice is up to ypu.
Rating: Summary: king of the ring 2000 Review: it was ok all the other king of the rings were realy good but this one was kind of a let down to me there are still some great clasical matches like the dumpster table match . I recemmend this video to any wrestling fan
Rating: Summary: Pretty good event Review: King of the Ring 2000 was a pretty solid wrestling event. The main attraction, a tournament to decide who wins the KOTR trophy, was packed with the federations top talent. It also ended with a big surprise as Kurt Angle won the event, giving him the boost into the superstardom he is enjoying to this date. Good event with some decent matches!
Rating: Summary: King of the Ring 2000 Review: King of the Ring 2000 was nothing special, but then again, this event has a history of failing to deliver. The tournament itself was poorly booked. Despite Jericho/Angle and Guerrero/Venis delivering the goods, we got less than five minutes of Chris Benoit, and the final match between Angle and Rikishi was also very short. Had the brackets been arranged better, we might have gotten a five-star match between Jericho and Benoit. The main event was solid at best, with lots of brawling, with the only real highlight being the insane bump by Shane at the end of the match. Probably the second or third best King of the Ring since it's conception in 1993. Ranks right up there with 1997 and 1994.
Rating: Summary: No! Not actual wrestling!! Review: King of the Ring 2000 was the best king of the ring to date. If you like WRESTLING this is the ppv for you. I say wrestling because it seems all fans want to see these days are men almost killing themselves (Ex. Ladder Matches, Hell in the Cell). I have no problems with these matches, heck I like them too but these kinds of matches are not WRESTLING, their usually just a stunt show/spot fest. Anyway sorry about that rant it's just people don't enjoy quality matches anymore and it ticks me off. KOTR featured many great wrestling matches. The first was Rikishi v. Benoit. Benoit is a true technical marvel, but for some reason the wwf decided to turn Benoit into a chair swinging physco for this one so it disappointed. Next was Val Venis v. Eddie Guerro, This was a great match up which featured some of Eddie's wonderful high flying and technical offense (Val also wasn't bad and got the duke). Bull Buchanan v. Crash was short but a fun one. The last match of the quarter finals was Jericho v. Angle. This was another stellar dispaly of ring excellence by both men (Their confrontation at NO Way Out was a beauty as well). The 4 team tag team title match was also a well done, good paced match up, Christian and Edge are just halirious and really coming into their own. The Semi finals saw Venis face Rikishi in a brutal but short match. Next was Angle v. Crash in which Crash had no chance to win, but they still had short but well done encounter. The hardcore match was umm.... nevermind, just stay away from it, far far away. The dumpster match was a brutal battle, which saw the Road Dogg actually take a BUMP!! I almost had a heart attack when I saw him take a risk and work to put someone else over besides himself. Next was the finals which saw Angle square off aganist Rikishi. The right man wins in this short but enteraining bout (watch those near falls!!). The main event saw Vince, Shane and Triple H take on The Undertaker, Kane and the Rock. A stipulation said that if any memeber of the face team pinned a heel they won the belt. This match was kind of doomed from the start. It was very disorganized and gave the winner zero credibilty in my eyes. Shane once again proves he is one of the most under rated men in wrestling today (HE BUMPS LIKE NO OTHER, now that Foley is in retirement. Watch him at Summer Slam 99 and 2000, and tell me he doesn't know how to get someone over). The Undertaker was lazy and working stiff as usual, but he will be remeber because of Shane's extremely hard work. Everyone else worked hard and delivered what there was to deliver, but it was no masterpiece. As I said before this is a great wresting ppv, and if you like WRESTLING this is the ppv for you. Also check out Backlash 2000 for another great wreslting ppv.

Rating: Summary: R.I.M 's Thought on King of The Ring 2000 Review: So far I have viewed most of the King of The Ring from 97-2001 & so far KOTR 2000 was the best. It's Amazing how Kurt Angle accomplished everything from winning the European Championship from winning the WWF Championship months later. (Now known as the WWE Undisputed Championship) The Table Dumpster match was awesome. I was surprise to see D-X win the match but the best moment was seeing Tori go through the table. The Hardcore Evening Gown match was kind of hilarious and awful. It was so awful I rather see The Fabulous Moolah & Mae Young wrestle in a Bra & panties match. King of the Ring was not a good night for Rikishi because he had to wrestle 3 men with a bad shoulder and they all took advantage of the situation by using steel chairs & steel steps. The 6 man tag main event was an excitng match. The best moment of that night was seeing Undertaker drivng Shane Mcmahon through the announcer table. I was hoping Undertaker would walk out with the Championship belt that night.
Rating: Summary: A solid PPV all hail King Fink! Review: The best semi-final King of the Ring matches were at KOR 2000. Howard Finkle vs. the Fabulous Moolah and Evad Sullivan vs. the Repo Man. Evad and The Fink advance and tear each other open, and the Fink wins due to the interferance of the Genius. The best Hell in the Cell match was also on the card as IC Champ Jim Duggan took on Stephanie McMahon defending the honor of her new husband Bastion Booger. Duggan did his classic run at Stephanie with the 2X4 shouting "HOOOOO" and Stephanie took this as an insult and laid Duggan out with some Sweet Chin Music reclaiming the IC title from Dooogan. The lumberjack match between the Ultimate Warrior and Papa Shango was missing one lumberjack and suddenly from the rafters came down Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake saying that he always wanted to be a lumberjack leaping from tree to tree....The match went on and Beefcake caused Warrior to lose as he cursed Warrior and cause black good to get into his eyes. Then he took off his uniform revealing he was really The Big Brother and then he transformed again showing he was truly The Butcher, and the Zodiac Man, and also the Booty Man. A hair match took place against Shawn Michaels and Bull Nokano, as Nokano lost her hair and Michael did also, as Michaels used Nokano's hair as a foreign object and was DQed. And the special handicap match as Crush, Harley Race, Vader, The Macho King, Mr. T, Sensational Sherri, Taz, RVD, and Dean Douglas take on Tony Schiavone and Alundra Blayze, who turns on him, in a fall brawl cage match on loan from WCW. The WWF title match featured the great Al Snow against his long time rival Made in the USA the Iron Sheik with his manager Bob Backlund suspened high in a steel cage with a rabid Bret Hart. My favourite match of the night was the European ladder match between Yokozuna and the Earthquake Avalanche Shark John Tenta that lasted for 40 minutes and went through 13 ladders and left two holes in the ring, which had to be patched quickly for the other matches, I can't tell you the winner for this you just have to see it to believe it as Luna, Bam Bam Bigelow, Stevie Richards, and Gene "The Giant Killer" Okerlund all get involved. This PPV was spellbinding, probably since there were no matches with the Rock or Jericho, proving that 2000 is the year of wrestling.
Rating: Summary: Best PPV of 2000! Review: The King of the Ring Tournament this year was the very easily the best pay-per-view of 2000. The PPV opened with Chris Benoit taking on Rikishi Phatu. Benoit was disqualified for using a chair on Rikishi, leaving a gigantic bruise on the large man's arm. Next was Eddy Guererro vs. Val Venis. Val Venis defeated Eddy Guererro after a great matchup. Crash Holly pul led the upset by beating Bull Buchanan with a roll up. Kurt Angle defeated Chris Jericho with the Olympic Slam. In the tag-team Four Way Elimination match for the Tag Team Titles, this was the order of elimination: Test and Albert, Hardy Boyz, Too Cool, and the champions are Edge and Christian. The Dudley Boyz lost to DX and Tori, but were able to put all three through tables (Tori was put through a table after the match). Kurt Angle then defeated Crash Holly and Rikishi defeated Val Venis. During the Hardcore Evening Gown Match, Crash Holly came out and became the new Hardcore Champion. After that, Kurt Angle defeated Rikishi to become the New King of The Ring. And in the main event, Rock pinned Vince after a Rock Bottom.
