Summary: Invasion was a great overall PPV.
Review: I have been to many WWF live events in the Cleveland area, but this was by far the best. Invasion was a historic event, being the first PPV featuring the WWF vs. the WCW/ECW Alliance, and with Stone Cold turning his back on the WWF. It also feature a few really good matches: Jeff Hardy vs. RVD, Team WWF (Austin/Angle/Y2J/Undertaker/Kane) vs. Team WCW/ECW (Booker T/DDP/Rhyno/Dudley Boyz), Tajiri vs. Tazz, Edge/Christian vs. Storm/Awesome, and X-Pac vs. Kidman. The rest of the card was also pretty solid as well. There even was an appearance by Mick Foley. I'm looking forward to adding this DVD to my collection.

Summary: A major disapointment
Review: For years and years the wrestling world had been waiting to see WWF vs. WCW, and in July 2001 we finally got it. However overbooking this "Superbowl of Wrestling" into another McMahon family feud, made Invasion a disapointing PPV. The reason the rating for this tape is *** is because there are a couple of pretty good wrestling matches on here, being Lance Storm & Mike Aweosme vs. Edge & Christian, as well as the Hardcore Title Match between Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy. While the WWF always puts out stellar DVDs, this one is by no means a must-have and probably only belongs in the collection of a die-hard wrestling fan.

Summary: a bit of a let down.
Review: i thought this ppv would have been much better but it wasnt at all. patrick vs. hebner-stupid match that just took up time. rvd vs. jeff hardy-one of the few highspots on the card. alot of bumps taken. trish and lita vs. torrie and stacy-fairly bad, you dont even see much. edge/christin vs. awesome/storm-a fairly good match, for those of you who actually appreciate good wrestling matches. tajeri vs. tazz-dissapointing, i was expecting a amazing match but instead, just a totally average match. team wwf vs. team wcw/ecw-why they would make a main event in tag team form is beyond me, but it wasnt exactly a horrible match, the ending was so predictable, did anyone not know that austin would turn on wwf.

Summary: Emotionally Speaking 10/10, Technically Speaking 6/10
Review: This was the pinnacle of emotion and storylines that all boiled down to a hot night in Cleveland. This PPV could have had a much, much better card as any true WWF fan would know. The first Interpromotional PPV in my opinion is a flop.

Earl Hebner vs. Nick Patrick: Enjoyable. Makes you proud to be a WWF fan. 7/10

Tazz vs. Tajiri: Showcases Tajiri's talent, but makes you wish Tazz had stuck to announcing. 6/10

X-Pac vs. Kidman: X-Pac didn't get as over with the fans as WWF officials would have liked. Good performance between the two, a deserving 8/10.

Edge & Christian vs. Mike Awesome & Lance Storm: We have all seen better matches from these four men, but they still were able to pull off a 7/10.

APA vs. Palumbo & O'Haire: An all out brawl, like most expected. Not to great to watch, a 5/10.

Rob Van Dam Vs. Jeff Hardy: The showstopper. An easy 9/10

Trish & Lita Vs. Torrie and Stacy: Okay match, as most expected. 5/10

6-Man Tag Match: Sleeper of the show. This match had no meaning what so ever. 4/10

Innaugural Brawl: Poor Match. End was too predictable. It was lucky to get a 6/10.

Summary: Very goot thank yous WWF
Review: I like all fights except one where women take off clothes. This is very ugly as i like men. The bald man is nasty as he beat up all of his team . Thisa very unfair. The fat tall man is not very goot as he is too fat and do no moves, no? He is called Big Slow,no? I hope that man did not hurt himself when the other man kick him in the nose with a chair and his foot. That was scary,no?

Summary: WHAT A GREAT PAY-PER-VIEW
Review: I was very lucky to get to watch this event from my fifth row seat. It was fantastic. The match of the night was undoubtably Jeff Hardy vs RVD. All the high spots were hit and these guys put there bodies on the line. The finish to the main event was unbelievable. Just a another reason to buy this one.

Summary: WWF vs. WCW/ECW
Review: This DVD "WWF Invasion" is what wrestling fans waited all thier lives to see. A Tournament WWF vs. WCW / ECW. Several great matches include Mr. PPV Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Hardy and Stone Cold burning his back on the WWF are featured in this DVD.

Summary: What a comeback from King of the Ring
Review: First and Formost I had to go to 3 different places just to find a place to watch it in Indianapolis. The First match I saw was: Reagal vs. Raven-This match was pointless because Raven ... and he only won cause Tazz interfered.1/2* Tajiri vs. Tazz.It was alright-*** Then RVD vs. Jeff Hardy - great match - ***** Tag Team Bra and Panties match - ***** Inagural Brawl - ***** This pay-per-view was alot better than King Of The Ring but it doesn't compare to Judgment Day and Backlash

Summary: wwf-wcw-ecw InVasion

Summary: the wwf did it again
Review: the wwf did it again with a awesome ppv and a event that will go down in the record books. the wwf put on some of the most memorable ppvs of all time ( wrestlemania 1-17, summerslam, king of the ring, royal rumble, survivor series)but out of 2001 there have only been about 4 good ppvs. royal rumble, no way out, judgment day, and of course wrestlemania 17. Invasion was held on the 22 of July in Clevlands Gund Arena. that night it was the wwf vs. the wcw/ecw alliance. there was 10 matches. 1-Edge&Christian(WWF) vs. Lance Storm & Mike Awesome(ECW)*** 2-Earl Hebner(WWF) vs. Nick Patrick (WCW) **** it was a good match acually 3-APA (WWF) vs.(wcw) Palumbo & O'Haire *** 4-Kidman (WCW) vs. X-Pac (WWF) *** 5-Raven (ECW) vs. William Regal (WWF) ** 6-(wcw)Kanyon, Hugh Morrus & Shawn Stasiak vs.(wwf) "The One" Billy Gunn, Albert & Big Show *** 7-Tazz (ECW) vs. Tajiri (WWF) **** good match 8-WWF Hardcore Championship: Rob Van Dam (ECW) vs. Jeff Hardy (champion, WWF) this was an awesome match ***** probalby the best match on the card 9-Tag Team Bra & Panties match: (wwf)Trish Stratus & Lita vs. (wcw)Torrie Wilson & Stacy Keibler ***** t and a what more do can i say 10-Inaugural Brawl: Team WCW/ECW ( Booker T, DDP, Rhyno & Dudley Boyz) vs. Team WWF (Stone Cold, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Kane & Undertaker)***** this was a great match. what way to top wrestlemanias ending that to do the same thing.stone cold is the best any way. the wwf is a genius.
