Rating: Summary: Great Video-Works Well, Kids Love It Review: I bought this video about three weeks ago hoping that it would provide a guideline on how to run an effective practice. What a video! This guy really puts a huge emphasis on the children having fun and staying in-tuned without getting bored. The drills have worked well so far because in a scrimmage yesterday, we laid down 3 out of 4 successful bunts and I think the hitters have been benefiting from some of the hitting drills. It's a great buy for any manager, new or experienced. The only problem I have with the video is that the some of the basic mechanics were not stressed. Despite that, I have absolutely no regrets about purchasing this video and again, I very highly reccomend it for any coach or parent.
Rating: Summary: Effective New Ideas for Baseball Practices Review: I have been coaching Little League baseball for 4 years now, and my teams have done fairly well. I'm always on the lookout for ways to help my players do better, and I've watched a lot of baseball videos, without finding much that I could really use to help my team. I ordered the 59 Minute Baseball Practice, wondering if this tape would be any different from the others. I'm pleased to be able to say that this tape is very worthwhile. It's the only tape I've seen that helps me deal with a problem I've found in the past with my practices: how to improve my players' skills, involve all team members just about all the time, and keep them all interested and motivated. The many drills in this tape will help you do this, and complete the practice in under an hour, as the title states. This tape includes enough drills for a number of practices, and you can change and adapt them as you see fit. They cover all the important areas players need to practice -hitting, throwing, fielding and running - while challenging them. I particularly like the tape's ideas about making many of the drills into games or contests. The tape is very clear - the drills are easy-to-understand - and it is also well organized, and well-paced. While it's not yet baseball season, I've been working with most of team in early practice sessions, and the players' reaction to these new drills has been terrific; they think the drills are fun. It's also worth noting that you can conduct a complete practice session, working on all skill areas without a baseball field if need be, which has been particularly helpful in the off-season. Overall, 5 stars! I'm looking forward to the next video in this series.
Rating: Summary: Fast paced which makes for excellent video. Great ideas! Review: I have purchased other baseball training videos from ESPN and they seemed to be useful. The only problem with those were how long the took to explain a basic drill. The problem with that was I found myself with the remote to fast forward through a lot of the repetative examples. This video rocks! I plan on using several of these drills to keep my players having fun and developing skills at the same time. I am going to talk to Board members of our league and ask that they purchase enough of these for all coaches. It will give some beginning coaches a solid foundation for planning and running practices. I think the reason most people run boring drills is they are there to fill up time rather than be effective. Not only will this video be great for keeping practices short for sharing fields but here in the NW light is an issue before Daylight Saving Time. Don't miss out on this video..
Rating: Summary: Greatly Disappointed Review: I purchased this video after reading the great reviews online. However, I found the video a great disappointment. If you are looking for a video that presents instruction on fundamental techniques for youth baseball, then this is not the video to buy. There is absolutely no description of technique, just a presentation of disjointed "drills" often without a clear explanation of what is accomplished with the drill. In fact, some of the infield drills that are supposed to develop speed and coordination, will encourage sloppy technique. This video is not even close to the quality of the Emanski videos.

Rating: Summary: The 59 Minute Baseball Practice Review: I really enjoyed this video but the thing that suprised me is that my two sons that are 7 and 6 watch this video all the time. They go outside and try to copy the things they see on it. I recommend this to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Made Baseball Practice Fun Review: I started using the techniques in this video and the kids are better ballplayers and they look forward to coming to practice. As a rule, the drills involve all of the players - no more bored kids, no more picking dandelions. It's easy to plan a practice and fun for the coach too. Thanks for the resource.
Rating: Summary: A great opportunity awaits... Review: I was a bit skeptical about buying a video online, but I don't regret for a second that I purchased the "59 minute baseball practice video". The video was put together with both organization and preparation. I can't even begin to describe how well it is going to help me in my next baseball season. Marty Schupak is a baseball genius and the video is a must buy for any coach or parent. If you are a coach, the video will help you with tons of drills. If you are a parent, many of the activities done in the video can be modified to be used at home. This is a MUST BUY for anyone involved in Little League.
Rating: Summary: GREAT IDEAS FOR BASEBALL PRACTICE Review: I'm pleased to say that this tape has great ideas. It provides drills that are easy to follow, involve most of the team members and are perfect for increasing the skill level of young players. The drills are interesting, fast paced and not too time consuming. There are many drills to choose from and they cover all the important areas. The tape is organized and easy to understand. I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Very concise, informative Review: I've been on ball teams and have assisted in coaching and can vouch for the fact that lots of time is wasted with kids standing around watching while the coach tries to shape up a hitters stance, swing, etc. "59 Minute Baseball Practice" offers lots of very good drills to keep every minute of your practice productive and, most of all, engaging for your players. I didn't get the video until near the end of last season, so we only had a chance to try a couple of them, but the kids were always begging me to do them every practice after first introducing them. My complaint is that, apart from one drill, there is nothing on pitching. In fact, the video deals almost exclusively with "play action" kinds of drills of baserunning and moving the ball around the field and virtually nothing whatsoever on technique or "personal" skills. Whether that be hitting, pitching, fielding. The one exception is quite a bit of attention is placed on bunting. Had he added 5 minutes on each of those I would have given it a 5 star rating. Then again, I suppose he wants you to buy the other videos that are single focused on these skills.
