American Trains-BNSF's Stevens Pass

Summary: If there's a better train video than this, I'll buy it!
Review: This DVD chases trains over the Cascades heading eastward from the Seattle side and goes through what has to be the most beautiful territory in the world. The video was shot around the time of the BNSF merger during the summer (sunny) and features locomotives from both railroads. The majority of trains are container trains since that is the most common on this route and at least one westbound is seen hauling a Boeing aircraft fuselage from the plant in Wichita. The narrator does a great job telling about not only the trains grinding their way over the mountains but about the places along the way. Of course the highlight for most people is no doubt the famous 8 mile Cascade Tunnel. This alone is worth the price of the DVD! If you or someone you know likes train watching with towering trees, bridges and mountains then I would highly recommend this one.
