Review: Seein' as how Amazon hasn't given any specifics about this set's contents (as of this writing), I'll let'cha in on what this 2 DVD set consists of: it is a slipcased re-release of the Patriots' 2001 season highlights DVD (which I reviewed on May 23, 2002, and can be found all by its lonesome at www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005T7G1/qid=1099685655/sr=1-4/ref=sr_1_4/102-8646183-3962510?v=glance&s=dvd ) and their 2003 highlights DVD (reviewed April 15, 2004, found at www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00011D1GS/qid=1099685655/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-8646183-3962510?v=glance&s=dvd ). So if you already have these two platters in your collection, there's no need for you to get this... unless you're in it for the slipcase that is.

However, if you don't already have these in your collection, then I highly recommend `em. Not only are they great viewin', they're also a great value; the asking price of this set is less than what I paid for either DVD separately! BTW I wonder if NFL Films is gonna do this for all the previous Super Bowl champ season highlight videos? I'd love to have the entire run of San Francisco 49ers & Washington Redskins shows in a slipcased DVD set to replace my gradually deteriorating VHS tapes. Come on, NFL Films-- hook the pigskin fanboys up, will ya?

UPDATE 12/3/2004: The box-set version of the 2001 highlights DVD is slightly different from the original release version. Unlike the latter, you no longer have to sit through an unskippable Tiki Barber "Anti-Drug" spot and Don Shula plugging the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The new release also claims to include a bonus featurette on the 1985 AFC champion Patriots... which it doesn't. BTW this particular featurette is included in the NFL Films Super Bowl XI-XX highlight shows collection DVD set (highly recommended; available at www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0001WTWYM/qid=1102053291/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl74/102-3248286-4758553?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846 ), in case you wanna check it out...
