Jericho/Christian vs. Booker T/Goldust vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Storm/Regal, ***1/2. Surprisingly one of the best matches I have seen in a while. Entertaining action, and filled with near falls.

Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H, ****. Really Good match, a couple mistakes here and there, but the effort by both men was off the page. Triple H was injured, so that brought the match down a liitle bit. They did the same kind of things in their SummerSlam match, but other than that, it was really good.

Review: Nothing makes me happier than watching certain matches, only
stipulation matches, nothing else - because any typical boring
match is simple and pathetic, and not enjoyable, thus you don't

(great, actually great match - strong action from both guys)

Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H
(Come ON, this match kicked ass - as good as Summerslam 2002)
(Had everything, the cage and ladder matches were a bonus!!) Extras included one good fatal four-way No. 1 contender's match

Review: Opening Match, Four-way Tag Team Elimination Match for the Tag Titles:
Jericho & Christian v Booker T & Goldust v Lance Storm & Regal v Dudleyz
The Dudley Boyz were eliminated first when William Regal pinned Bubba Ray. Soon after, Goldust then powerslammed Regal to eliminate him and Storm, leaving it down to two teams - Goldust / Booker T and Jericho / Christian. At the closing moments of the match, Booker T delivered a Book-End to Y2J, giving him and the Gold-freak the win! The duo of the 5-Time WCW Champion and the 'Bizarre One' had now climbed to the top of the Tag Team Mountain and had become the Champions. Good, hot opener. ***3/4 Edge v A-Train
After a Spear from Edge, A-Train soon lost his temper and nailed Edge in the knee with a steel chair. He continued the assault, but Edge fought back and beat the hell out of A-Train with the same steel chair to get retribution for his Tag Team partner Rey Mysterio, who had been taken out of action by A-Train two weeks ago. ** Chris Benoit v Eddie Guerrero
Just by looking at the competitors in the match, you can tell that this one is going to be a classic. Many wrestling holds and submission moves were performed by both men, and soon after, Eddie's partner Chavo Guerrero attacked Benoit with the Tag Title belt when the referee wasn't looking. However, the Rabid Wolverine fought back and soon made Latino Heat tap out to the Crippler Crossface! ****3/4 Batista v Kane
This match was far too slow and probably the worst match on the card. Ric Flair interfered in the match, but Kane fought him off, and was soon power-bombed and pinned by Batista. ½* Triple-Threat Women's Championship Match:
Trish Stratus v Jacqueline v Victoria
When the referee wasn't looking, Victoria smashed Trish in the head with the Women's Title belt and pinned her to retain her title. This match lasted four minutes; it should have lasted one. The second-worst match on the card to Batista-Kane. * SmackDown! World Championship: Big Show v Kurt Angle
Big Show gained control for most of the match, and soon managed to Chokeslam Angle. As the referee had been inadvertently knocked down, Brock Lesnar ran down to the ring and interfered in the match, giving Lesnar the F-5! He ran after Paul Heyman backstage, as the American Hero covered the giant and the referee got back into position and counted the 1-2-3! Angle had now won the WWE title in a match that was a bit slow-paced, just as you would expect having Big Show in a singles match **1/4 2/3 Falls Match for the RAW World Title: Triple H v Shawn Michaels
*1st Fall - Street Fight; 2nd Fall - Steel Cage Match; 3rd Fall - Ladder Match
The first fall was brutal. Highlights of this fall were HBK hitting HHH with a burning 2x4, and Shawn receiving a drop-toe-hold onto a steel chair. After 20 minutes of brawling, the Game scored with his infamous Pedigree to pin Michaels to win the 1st Fall. During the second fall (the steel cage match) Ric Flair set up four tables in the aisle whilst HHH and HBK were battling inside the cage. Flair entered the cage, but was smashed in the face with a steel chair by Shawn Michaels. HBK then placed Triple H on a table, climbed to the top of the cage and performed a big splash, putting the Game through the table! HBK soon covered his opponent and got the 1-2-3 to even the scores in the match. This meant that the match had to go to the 3rd Fall (the ladder match). Shawn had nearly grabbed the belt at the top of the ladder, but Triple H sneaked up from behind and pushed Michaels off the ladder through the pile of tables set up by Ric Flair earlier on in the match! This allowed the Game to climb up the ladder and retrieve the World Heavyweight Championship belt. This was a decent match - it was brutal and everything - but it was a bit too slow for the likes of Shawn Michaels and Triple H. It wasn't nearly as good as their classic battle at Summerslam, or as good as the Game's ***** 2/3 Falls match with Stone Cold at No Way Out '01, but it was still a good effort. The match gained an extra 1/4* because of the ending where HBK falls off a ladder and goes through the pile of tables. ***1/4 Overall, it was a decent show for the first half - the opening tag match was good and the Benoit-Guerrero match was excellent. However, the HBK-HHH match could have been better (and, unfortunately, could not save the show), the Women's title match was terrible, the Batista-Kane match was slow and boring, and the SmackDown! Title match was too short. But all disappointments aside, this event was fairly good. Final Score: (/10) 6.5 Mildly recommended.

Review: RAW Tag titles: Christian & Chris Jericho v. The Dudley Boyz v. JR's Favorite Tag Team v. Booker T & Goldust: Jerhicho and christian thought they had the win. But walks into a bookend...ABOUT TIME. ***1/4 I was worried they'd do the buildup and then swerve us by having Goldust turn, but in the end they did the right thing. - Edge v. A-Train. Lame match... LAAAAAAME. Crowd totally turns on the finish, too, rightfully so. A-Train is terrible and Edge isn't the worker to carry him to anything decent. * - Eddie Guerrero v. Chris Benoit. AWSOME. Some quality professional wrestling in this match.... Crowd wasnt into it. But who cares about them. ****1/4 And now we get into the grand time-wasting segment of the show, as we recap the Torrie-Dawn 'feud' and then Dawn & Kermit head into the ring. Dawn shows the footage, which is basically just Dawn undressing Torrie and them making out for a bit, before Al stops the footage and everyone leaves. That pretty much defines 'stupid payoff'. Kane v. Batista. This isn't gonna help get the show going. Batista hits him with the SITOUT POWERBOMB OF DISMEMBERMENT....Remember kids, if you're doing backyard wrestling, don't EVER sitout on any move, because you could kill someone. And don't ever imitate this match, because your friends will laugh at you. DUD John Cena and 'Bling Bling' Buchanan come out and waste yet more time in a pointless rap segment. Women's title: Victoria v. Trish Stratus v. Jackie. Does anyone care about this match? I didn't think so. Victoria hits Jackie with the clichéd beltshot...That was only 4 minutes? Yikes. Total mess, with tons of blown spots and no real reason for it to even be a three-way. ½* Smackdown World title: The Big Show v. Kurt Angle. Crowd doesn't seem to know who to cheer here, so they opt for no one. Show chokeslams Angle, but Brock makes his appearance, does his weekly F5 on Show (and draws the biggest pop of the show by far)... Match was about four minutes too long, but thank god they came to their senses on the Big Show situation and gave the belt to someone who deserves it. This was, however, 100% the Kurt Angle Show and Big Show only hurt things by being in the ring. I can only imagine how bad this would have been with pretty much anyone else. ** RAW World title: Shawn Michaels v. HHH. HHH has his GOOD quad taped up, which is an ominous sign of what the quality is gonna be like. They go through the usual street fight stuff. Some weak table spots. Final fall: HHH does the SLOOOOOW climb, but gets shoved down by Shawn. Shawn does an equally slow climb, but gets shoved off through the huge pile of tables, and HHH limps up the ladder... First half was as good as two crippled guys were gonna do, but once they had to start doing serious bumps in the cage and ladder portions, it became apparent how bad both guys have become. The 'ladder match' portion in particular, all 4 minutes of it, was a total joke and ill-advised from the start. I suppose I'm gonna have to endure more e-mail now from HHH fans about how gutsy he was for wrestling through that injury. Yup, nothing like seeing a guy putting himself over when he's too injured to wrestle. Bring on HHH-Nash! **1/2 It was a decent show for the first half and Benoit-Guerrero was great, but not as great as they were hyping, but once we got to the 'lesbian' video it just went crashing down and HHH-Shawn couldn't save it. The fact that A-Train stunk up the joint in his match and then still got to interfere in the main event shows that they're not gonna learn anything from this show, either. Thumbs in the middle for the first half, leaning down for the rest

Review: THE END IS HERE FOR HBK
The end of Shawn Michaels' World Heavyweight Championship reign came at Armageddon when Triple H defeated HBK in a best two-out-of-three falls match. The Game pinned Michaels in the first match, a Street Fight, after hitting him with a Pedigree. The second fall, a Steel Cage Match, saw Shawn Michaels give it his all in an attempt to hold on to his World Heavyweight Championship. Despite Ric Flair's interference, Shawn Michaels was able to pin Triple H after leaping from the top of the cage onto The Game, while he lay lifeless on a table. The third and final fall, a Ladder Match, decided the winner. After sending Shawn Michaels off the top of the ladder into four tables, Triple H climbed the ladder to win the match and capture the World Heavyweight Championship. In a match that had to be seen to be believed, Kurt Angle defeated Big Show to capture the WWE Championship. The victory came after Brock Lesnar gave Big Show the F5 while the official was knocked out. Prior to Brock's interference, the match was back and forth. On numerous occasions, either competitor could have walked away with the victory. It especially looked as though Show was going to pin Angle after the A-Train interfered on Show's expense. It wasn't the case, however. In the end, it was Angle walking out of the arena with the WWE Championship. As promised, Dawn Marie proved that Torrie Wilson was a sexual predator. Several weeks ago on SmackDown!, fans saw Torrie meet Dawn in room 357. But the show went off the air before we could see the entire footage. Dawn Marie's footage showed Torrie getting undressed down to her bra and panties. Finally, when the two girls began to kiss, Al Wilson demanded that the footage stop. Not wanting to upset her fiancé, Dawn Marie agreed and the footage was stopped. Match Results:

Summary: A very good WWE PPV
Review: The four-way tag-team title match was good, especially when it came down to the final two teams. Edge vs. A-Train was nothing special. Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero was a classic and on eof the best matches of 2002. Kane vs. Batista was dull, but Ric Flair makes it entertaining when he loses it because his punches don't hurt Kane. The triple-threat women's title match was as good as a women's match can get. The WWE Tilte match between Kurt Angle and Big Show was a great match with a great ending. Finally, the 2 out of 3 falls with HBK and HHH was a brutal main event that really showcased these two wrestlers abilities to put on a show at a major event.

Review: The HBK vs. HHH match was once again amazing. HBK should be wrestling every pay per view. All the other matches are forgettable.

Summary: Triple H ruins yet another wwe pay-per-view
Review: This event further proves the theory that Triple H is the biggest ego maniac to ever step in a ring. Triple H again puts himself over at a pay per view and has a 2 star match with Shawn Michaels in a match that never shouldve been given over 30 minutes! Triple H shouldn't have even been wrestling, as his knee was banged up and he has trouble doing any moves at all. Triple H has yet to let any of the younger stars go over him. The rest of the card is a run of the mill house show type event. The only exception is Kurt Angle FINALLY being given a run as the WWE champion with a win over the Big Show. Kurt was so misused in 2002 though that the win does little for his career. This event is not worth going out the way to purchase or for that matter, even to rent. Only purchase if you are a fan of Kurt Angle, as the rest of the card is HORRIBLE.
