Summary: Sweet
Review: ...This Pay Per View was the best Pay Per View I have seen. The Royal Rumble match is great. Mr Perfect, Val Venis, Goldust and Godfather all return in this match. Rikishi drew number 1 and Goldust drew number 2. It was down to Triple H and Kurt Angle. Kurt thought he had eliminated Triple H but he didnt and Triple H comes back in the ring and eliminates Kurt to go on to Wrestlemania X-8!!!! Chris Jericho also defeated The Rock to retain the Undisputed Title with help from the Lance Storm and Christian. In a street fight, Ric Flair defeated Vince McMahon. Both men were bloodied up pretty bad. Spike Dudley and Tazz defeated Dudley Boys to retain the Tag Titles. William Regal defeated Edge with help from the brass knuckles to win the IC title. Also, Trish defeated Jazz to retain the Women's title. Buy this DVD because it will be worth it.

Summary: The PERFECT rumble
Review: Best part of the show was indeed MR.PERFECT doing the thing with the gum that he always does. Goldust also made a return as well as Val Venus and the Godfather. ...Ric Flair wrestled for the first time in the WWF since 1993, and there was also a rock bottom from one anouncers table to another. Definitely a night full of innovations and surprises. Buying this DVD is surely a great way to start the year.

Summary: An Average Start for 2002
Review: For the first Pay-Per-View, it wasn't half bad. Considering that just about all the superstars were in the Rumble match, they didn't have much for an undercard. The only good thing was that The Rock lost. The other matches were way too quick and had nothing special. I mean, how obvious was it that Regal would win with the brass knuckles. The best part is definately the Royal Rumble itself. It had a great finish, (just like HBK's fake falling off.) There were also surprises, like Maven and the Hardyz comming back. The Rumble was the only reason I gave this a 3

Summary: Great 1st DVD of the new year!
Review: Great way to start off 2002! This was a great Rumble. I won't get into each match, as other people already did that. What I can tell you is that the matches are great. I loved the bloody Street fight, but the clincher here is the actual Royal Rumble itself. This had to be one of THE BEST Royal Rumble matches in a long time. The best moment is with Maven sending the Undertaker over the top. I firmly believe that, that 1 moment will forever define the amount of success he gets. Great Superstar with a lot of potential.

This DVD is well worth it, the extras aren't bad either, but I would have liked to have seen exclusive footage of past Royal Rumble winners or something. The WWF does no wrong. "God Bless Vince McMahon"

Summary: Awesome Pay Per View and even better DVD extras!
Review: Here's my match reviews of the 2002 edition of the Royal Rumble.

WWE Tag Team Championship:
Tazz and Spike[c] vs Dudley Boyz
**1/2

Not too bad of a match, just an average match you could see on WWE TV but still a decent tag team match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship:
Edge[c] vs William Regal
***1/2

An amazing match by both competitors, lots of ground offense by Regal and high flying moves from Edge. This match ends in a controversial fashion with William Regal picking up the victory and becoming the new WWE Intercontinetal Champion.

WWE Women's Championship:
Trish Stratus[c] vs Jazz
***

A very good match with amazing action from both women. Definitley one of the best matches in the Women's Division.

Street Fight Match:
Ric Flair vs Vince McMahon
****

Both men are above the age of 50 and both delivered a tremedous match.(Although I still think that Flair's match at Wrestlemania X-8 was better) They gave it all they had and I was very suprised to see Vince and Flair take it to the next level.

Undisputed WWE Championship:
Chris Jericho vs The Rock
****1/2

This match was the best one on the card. This match defenitley topped their No Mercy confrontation as both superstars fought with a lot of match physcology and told a story. However, Jericho won with interference by Lance Storm and Christian

The 30-Man Royal Rumble Match
(To decide the number 1 contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Wrestlemania X-8)
****

The 2001 Rumble match was better in some areas. The beginning was a little boring but it immediately picked up in the middle when Steve Austin came in. The end was definitley the best part as Triple H, Booker T, Kane, Big Show, Kurt Angle, Mr. Perfect, Rob Van Dam, and Steve Austin battled it out to decide the winner, however, when the match was all said and done, Triple picked up the victory.

Summary: The First And Greatest WWF PPV Live From Atlanta!
Review: I attended this pay per view when it happened just a couple of days ago in Atlanta and I must say I got my money's worth. Every match was very good, the Street Fight pitting Vince McMahon against Ric Flair was one to remember. A very gallant effort by The Rock in trying to take the Undisputed WWF Championship away from Chris Jericho, another great match. Then we came to the match the PPV was named after-the 30 Man, Over The Top Rope Royal Rumble. What made this one memorable for me was seeing the returns of a few greats-The Godfather, Mr. Perfect, Goldust, and Val Venis. The crowd was great in applauding these competitors once they were on they're way out of the main arena. All in all, this was a wonderful show they put on, and I look forward to the next PPV they decide to host live from Atlanta.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not horrible but certainly not the best rumble.
Review: I just finished watching this PPV a few hours ago, and to tell u the truth I was rather dissappointed, heres why. The only matches of any interest were Flair Vs. Mcmahon, Rock Vs. Jericho for the undisputed title, and the Royal Rumble match itself.
Flair Vs. Mr. Mcmahon- what a dissappointment...Flair was so out of shape my guinea pig is in better shape than him...anyways Vince was buff, he kicked flair's ass all match and finally 20 minutes threw Flair actually did something and locked the figure four leg lock on Vince, and Vince tapped out, like it or not, Mcmahon realy should have won.
Next Rock Vs. Y2J for the undisputed title-Gimme a break..This match was a rematch of No mercy's match and it totally sucked, kind of short with a terrible ending...Match wasnt anything close to being good compared to No mercy's.
Finally The Rumble match- I was really looking forward to this anyways but seeing how the past couple matchs blew i couldn't wait for it....and once again another match failed to deliver, In my view the whole match was pieced together poorly with Austin, HHH, Angle, Kane, Bigshow, and (Booker who?) lol, all comming out pretty much 1 after another. With the exception of the Undertaker who came out fairly early and never competed against Austin, HHH, etc...unstead he got eliminated by Maven! what? yes Maven! wtf is that. Were closing in on the end Austin, HHH, Angle, and of all ppl Mr. Perfect are the 4 remaining. When it got down to these four i figured Perfect was long gone, but No! Austin gets eliminated first of the four by Perfect! Yes perfect....what what? Now is it just me or are the wwf script writers and Vince Mcmahon just taking craps and what ever comes out is the plot for what happens in wwf these days i mean cmon. Well it gets a little better, HHH does end up winning which was cool but i prefer Austin. Some highlights of the rumble match that were worth seeing is how badly austin opens a can for awhile he must have delivered at least 15 stunners to diff ppl, all in all bad PPV not horible...but bad. I highly doubt that with extras added to this DVD that it will even be worth buying dont waste your money...just rent it.
