Rating: Summary: One of the Best PPV's of all time. Review: With only 6 matches, this was a great PPV. Most won't remember it as a great MSG PPV, or the reunion of the Dudley boys in a great table match, or the best womens match of all time, not even the screwjob of Brock Lesnar. This PPV Will be remembered for the Elimination Chamber.Elimination Table-Jeff Hardy, Spike & Bubba Dudley vs. Rosie, Jamal & Rico *** Nice spots in this match and the return of D-von & Bubba Ray Cruiserweight Title- Billy Kidman vs. Jamie Noble **1/4 Good cruiserweight match with some good moves. Women's Title- Trish Stratus vs. Victoria **3/4 Possibly the best women's match ever with Victoria bleeding. WWE Title- Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show ** Short but sweet with Brock getting screwed. WWE Tag Team Tile- Edge/Mysterio vs. Angle/Benoit vs. Los Guerreros **** Great match by all 6 of these men. Elimination Chamber- HHH vs. Hbk vs. Y2J vs. RVD vs. Kane vs. Booker T ***** Phenominal Alright Extras, Heat match was Ok and cool making of features.

Rating: Summary: 2002's Best WWE Pay Per View!! Review: Survivor Series' are known for being an average pay per view, despite being billed as one of the "classic four". The 2002 Survivor Series, however, is an exceptional show with an array of matches that seemed to deliver everything that we, as fans, asked for. Below is a list of the matches and how I would rate them on a scale of 5 stars. 6 man Table match Bubba Ray Dudley, Spike Dudley, and Jeff Hardy vs. 3 minute warning A really hot opener and a really good table match. Jeff Hardy once again takes a monstrous bump. Every man gave it his all. Probably the best tables match I've seen. Well, that's probably because they all suck. The ending is really shocking. ****1/4 WWE Cruiserweight championship Jamie Noble vs Billy Kidman Possibly the best cruiserweight match of 2002! Like all of Billy Kidman's matches, this one was awesome. Jamie Noble is also a spectacular athlete. They certainly raised the bar in the cruiserweight division. ****1/2 WWE Championship Brock Lesnar vs Big Show The Worst match of the night and a HUGE disappointment. The match was about 4 minutes long, and ended up with the wrong guy winning. But, even in those 4 minutes, they still managed to deliver some solid action. You can't really expect anything else when it comes to the Big Show. *1/2 Women's Championship Hardcore match Trish vs Victoria A really good women's match. Probably the best one I've seen. I think this marked the first time a women actually bladed, but I'm not sure. This one was a crazy brawl and was better than the WWE title match. ***1/2 Triple threat WWE Tag team championship match Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit vs Edge and Mysterio vs Eddie and Chavo Best match of the night as these 6 stole the show. Probably one of the best tag team matches of the year, and there were some pretty awesome tag matches during 2002. Really, really hot match, but then again, when you have Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit, you know you've got a classic. ***** Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight championship HHH vs HBK vs RVD vs Booker-T vs Chris Jericho vs Kane Pretty innovative match that wasn't as good as the 6 man hell in a cell at WWE Armageddon 2000. That doesn't mean that this isn't good though. Still a good match, but it probably could've been a little better if Booker-T and Kane weren't in it. ***3/4 WWE Survivor Series 2002 is probably one of the best Survivor Series pay per views. Another really good Survivor Series would have to be 1996, as it features Hart/Austin and Sid/HBK. However, this one may be a bit better. This was definately the best ppv of 2002, so I would recommend checking this one out.
Rating: Summary: Best PPV ever! Review: Tihs PPV was overall the best ever. It didn't have the most hype but it was the most watchable. Rico, 3-Minute Warning vs Dudleyz, Jeff Hardy: Table Match I thought this was a great table match and an even better opening match. It's good to start the night with brutal table moves. Pumped up the crowd with Dvons return. Women's Championship: Tish Stratus vs Victoria For a women's match it was good but adding weapons made it unbelieveable. Both put up a good match. Cruiserweight Championship: Jamie Knoble vs Billy Kidman This was a decent match but looked better because of the vicious DDT off the top rope. Kind of farfetch'd at times with all the kickouts. WWE Championship: Big Show vs Brock Lesnar Although shorter than it should've been, it was made great by the power of Lesnar picking up Big Show. Good match with surprise end. Elimination Tag Team Championship: Los Guererros vs Beniot/Angle vs Mysterio/Edge This match got dull at moments but was redeemed by Mysterio. Very watchable. Elimination Chamber fo World Championship First elimination chamber was not disappointing. Very brutaland eye-opening. RVD was the most entertaining showing he's Spider-Man and his splash off a chamber. Seemed to drone on at times but stayed exciting.
Rating: Summary: well, not too damn bad Review: this is your basic survivor series ppv with crazy matches and some surprising action. first off the elimination chamber match. big props go to HHH for winning the title but more than that for surviving a RVD knee to the throat. are you kidding me?? wow!!! hell of a match that will definately be duplicated hopefully many times. big props to everyone in that match. and once again the heart break kid showing us a glimpse of the past. also in the ppv, the 1st women's hard core match in nearly 4 years. try to forget that first one, as it is brought up in another dvd (hardcore one) trish and victoria took it and turned it up past 10 and ended somewhere near 14. ending was a little tough to swallow but the match itself had me doing a familar holy **** chant with the other guys i was watching it with. the other matches, well, not too bad. however if you watch the action, you'll see what i wrote. overall not a bad one time lookover.
Rating: Summary: One of the best of 2002 Review: Survivor Series is usually the biggest of the fall PPV's and this year does not disappoint. Six Man Table Match: Jehh Hardy, Bubba Ray Dudley and Spike Dudley vs. Three Minute Warning and Rico- Jeff Hardy and Bubba Ray Dudley fought in a Tag Team Tables match at Royal Rumble 2000 in the same arena Madison Square Garden and man what a match that was. Now they're teaming up with Spike to take on Bischoff's wrecking crew in Three Minute Warning and Rico. A fast paced match with some nice spots and even some throwback spots to the Royal Rumble 2000 match. Capped off by the reunnion of the Dudley Boyz. This match was an awesome opener. 9 out of 10 stars. Billy Kidman and Jamie Knoble for the Cruiserweight Championship- THe only bad thing about this match is that lately the only time the WWE Cruiserweight Championship is on PPV is when it's going to change hands. A solid and fast paced match that shows the perks of the Cruiserweight Division. 8 out of 10 stars. Victoria vs Trish Stratus in a Hardcore Match for the Women's Championship- A solid and hard hitting women's match that shows that the divas can do more than just look good. 7 out of 10. The Big Show vs Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman for the WWE Heavyweight Championship- The biggest wrestler in the WWE meets the strongest wrestler in the WWE. A solid and entertaining match that was kept short to avoid showing the Big Show's weaknesses. Features the annual Survivor Series screw job and was a nice kick off to a feud that the WWE would force feed us to death. Edge and Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit vs Los Guererros in a Triple Threat for the WWE Tag Team Championship- A solid match that drags in a couple of parts. Not as good as the Finals of the Tag Team tournament at No Mercy, but still a heck of a tag match that is a throwback to the glory days of the tag team division in the olf WWF. 8 out of 10 stars. Scott Steiner's WWE Debut- Chris Nowinski from RAW and Matt Hardy v.1 from Smackdown get thrown around by Big Poppa Pump in a debut that really got everyone pumpped for Steiner's ring return. An entertaing segment in the show and a worthy Return/Debut. 8 out of 10. Elimination Chamber:Booker T vs Chris Jericho vs Kane vs Rob Van Dam vs Shawn Michaels vs Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship- This was the debut of the Elimination Chamber and what a debut it was. A brutal match with some very cool spots and an ending that was unexpected it's just too bad it was short lived. Eric Bischoff's brain child lived up to it's hype. 10 out of 10 stars. Survivor Series was an outstanding ppv. The smaller card gave each match time to do it's work and tell it's story. A couple extras on the dvd make this a must own for any WWE fans.
Rating: Summary: Decent Card With A Great Main Event! Review: Jeff Hardy/Buh Buh Ray & Spike Dudley Vs. Three Minute Warning & Rico - Tables Match Very vicious match! You had the underrated Three Minute Warning and Rico against three veterans of this type of match in Jeff Hardy and two of the Dudleys. I have to say this match had several bump spots but the two that got me out of my chair was seeing one of Three Minute Warning do a splash from the top rope to the outside onto Jeff Hardy who was laying on a table! The other was seeing D-Von from Smackdown (he later returned to RAW) come to help out his "brother" Buh Buh from a three on one situation. Great opener. Jamie Noble Vs. Billy Kidman (WWE Cruiserweight Championship) - Good cruiserweight match. These guys do give it their all nearly everytime they set foot in the ring (they have to really since they don't get the attention as their super-heavyweight "brothers" do). Nice match. Trish Stratus Vs. Victoria (WWE Women's Title/Hardcore Rules) - I have to admit that the women's matches have gotten better over the last couple of years. Not great but definitely have progressed beyond hair pulling. Trish is better than she was when she first started but still seems sloppy at times in the ring. Victoria, on the other hand, is very polished and seems to know what she wants to do. As far as ladies' matches go, this was surprisingly brutal! I know I read one reviewer that said he thought it would be better but if you think about it, how brutal is the WWE going to let a women's match get!? To be honest, I am surprised they let it get as far as it did! Anyway, the match is entertaining if nothing else. The Big Show Vs. Brock Lesner (WWE Title Match) - This match WON'T go down as the best WWE Title match ever but it may go down as one of the most surprising displays of power I have ever seen in a wrestling match! Seeing BS in the F5 manuver of Brock was unbelievable in itself but I am impressed by the way BS sold it! It looks devestating. The only thing that spoiled it was the ending but otherwise it was great. Rey Mysterio/Edge Vs. Chris Benoit/Kurt Angle Vs. Eddie and Chavo Gurrerro (WWE Tag Team Title Match/Three Way Rules) - This was the 2nd best match of the night in my view! A lot of moves, holds, counterholds and even surprise moves (such as Edge getting trapped in BOTH the Crippler Crossface AND the Anklelock)! Entertaining match leading too...... Triple H Vs. Shawn Michaels Vs. Booker T. Vs. Rob Van Damn Vs. Chris Jericho Vs. Kane ("RAW" World Title Match/Elimination Chamber) - Going into this bout, we didn't know what to expect. Once is got going, it was basically brutality at its best. While I am not a big HHH fan, I have to give him credit for not only starting the match with RVD but for finishing the contest despite not being able to breathe after RVD's botched 5 Star Frog Splash! Anyway, a great way to cap off a good card!

Rating: Summary: Very Good PPV Review: Survivor Series 2002 was a very good PPV and one of the best in 2002 Jeff Hardy & Bubba Ray & Spike Dudley vs. 3 Minute Warning & Rico-Great opening match, when Jeff does the Swantan through the table is awesome 7/10 Jamie Noble vs. Kidman-WWE can never make their cruiserweight matches as good as WCW did but still an OK match 6/10 Trish Startus vs. Victoria-Just another women's match Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show-Very short match but very good while it was going on and another SS screwjob 7/10 Edge & Rey Mysterio vs. Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Chavo Guerrero-Great match I liked this just as much as the Elimination Chamber, the WWE finally doing tag team wrestling right 10/10 Debut of Scott Steiner-Nice just to see Steiner again Elimination Chamber Match-Terrific match I loved it RVD really shines and HHH really gets hurt, a great match and great performance by Michaels and Jericho 10/10 Survivor Series 2002 is overall a 40/50. A great 2002 PPV with great matches like the six-man tag and the Elimination Chamber. Highly Reccomended!
Rating: Summary: Survivor Series 2002 @ Madison Square Garden Review: 6-MAN TAG TEAM TABLE MATCH Solid Opening Match that was very entertaining with some Déjà vu moments. Only one botched spot where Jeff took too long to get to the ropes but this is edited out of the DVD. The ending is also great especially for the fans who were there. WWE CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP A great high-flying, fast-paced match between two great athletes. Billy Kidman's shooting star press gets me everytime, it is a thing of beauty that defies the mind. HARDCORE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH A good match for the women's division as far as they go. Some people tend to never be satisfied w/ the women's division, but if you do not have that bias you should enjoy this match. The ending slighty botched since the mirror was supposed to be used to take the match home, but Trish steps on it and cracks it making it unusable to Victoria. WWE CHAMPIONSHIP Brock Lesnar and Big Show put on an exciting match, albeit short but sweet. The start to a great rivalry that sees many memorable moments in the future. The match would have went longer and placed higher on the card if not for Brock's injured condition, yet they still put on a great match. TRIPLE-THREAT ELIMINATION WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Many great performers were involved making it a solidly entertaining match. It was a long match that kept the audience happy the entire time. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP FIRST EVER ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH A piece of professional wrestling history. I had the honor of being there live in person for this historic match. Nobody knew quite what to expect, but no one walked away disappointed. It was an amazing match with lots of firsts of course. An emotional and well done match where Triple H is truly injured early on and continues with the match being one of the last two competitors left. This match alone is worth the price of the DVD and the other matches certainly add to making this one of the best PPV's of 2002, right next to SummerSlam!
