Summary: Great PPV
Review: Wrestlemania 18was way better than I thought it would be most matches really surprised me. I will review an rank every match out of 10 WWF Intercontinental Championship: William Regal vs. Rob Van Dam Good opener, alot better than I thought it would be. Good effort from both men. 8/10 WWF European Championship: DDP vs. CHristian THis match was pointless. It was ok but pointless. 4/10 WWF Hardcore Championship: Golddust vs. Maven THis was ok. Maven got his but kicked. Spike dudley comes and steals the pin by using the 24/7 rule. 5/10 Kurt Angle vs. Kane This was a decent match Kurt was the one that made it good and Kane did ok but it was still a good match. 7/10 No Disqualification: RIc Flair vs. The Undertaker This was a great match they both brought out the best in eachother. 9/10 Edge vs. Booker T. Another great match. These two are both great competitors and put on a great show. 9/10 Stone Cold vs. Scott Hall I thought this was a decent match. At first I thought hall was gonna win but then Stone Cold gave hall two stunners to shut him up. 8/10 Four Team Elimination match for the WWF tag team championship: Billy and Chuck vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. the APA vs. The Dudley Boys THis was a great match great performance by everybody. The ending sucks. 9/10 The Rock vs. Hollywood Hogan This was the match of the night. Except for the part where there stareing at eachother. But the match was Great. 10/10 TRIPLE THREAT for the WWF Women's Championship: Jazz vs. Lita vs. Trish Stratus This was so bad. I couldn't stand it. 2/10 WWF Undisputed Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Triple H. This match was a letdown. Some parts were good like when Triple H Pedigreed Stephanie. These two have had better matches 6/10
Overall It was a good PPV but this wrestlemania wasn't as good as xix that one was the best ever. Total score: 8/10

Summary: Decent PPV. Saved By One Of The Best Matches Of All Time
Review: WWE Wrestlemania X8 was a good PPV, but it could have been a lot better. The good thing about this event is that it features one of the best matches of all time. It was held in March of 2002 at the Skydome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The DVD is a two disk set. I will rank and review the matches based on a ten point scale. 1. RVD (VS) WILLIAM REGAL (INTERCONTINENTAL)
Good opener. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. The crowd was really into this match. This was the second year in a row Regal was in the opening match. RVD wins the belt after delivering the Five Star Frog Splash. (7/10)
2. DDP (VS) CHRISTIAN (EUROPEAN)
I do not understand why they had this match. The crowd could have cared less about this match. DDP retained the title after delivering the Diamond Cutter. The best part was when Christian through a temper tantrum after the match. (5/10)
3. GOLDUST (VS) MAVEN (HARDCORE TITLE)
Typical hardcore match. Spike comes from the back and wins the title taking advantage of the 24/7 rule. During the PPV The Hurricane, Mighty Molly, Christian, and Maven all win the Hardcore belt. (7/10)
4. KURT ANGLE (VS) KANE
It is too bad these two couldn't have had a more important match. Fortunataly, Angle is a high card entertainer now. Anyways, this was a very good match. There were a lot of good spots and close falls. Very entertaining. Angle wins after use the ropes to get the 1-2-3. I think he was supposed to beat Kane with the Ankle Lock, but he messed up. Good match. (8/10)
5. THE UNDERTAKER (VS) RIC FLAIR (NO DQ)
This was a great match. I thought it was one of the top ten matches of the year. It was slow at points, but there was a lot of emotion. Very bloody match. Undertaker gives Ric Flair one of the best Superplexes you will ever see. They get so high. Arn Anderson makes an appearance in the match. Undertaker wins is after delivering the Tombstone. Great match. Afterwards, Undertaker counts to ten on his hand to signify his 10-0 record at Wrestlemanias. (9/10)
6. EDGE (VS) BOOKER T
These are two great competitors that could have given a great performance. Very disappointing. This fued started because of the stupid idea for a Japanes shampoo commercial. Edge wins it with the Edgecution. (6/10)
7. BILLY & CHUCK (VS) HARDYS (VS) DUDLEYS (VS) APA (TAG TITLE/FATAL FOURWAY ELIMINATION)
This was probably the sleeper match of the night. I didn't care for it the first time I saw it, but it is very entertaining the second time around. There is a good spot were D-Von gets knocked off the top turnbuckle and through a table on the floor. The last two participants are the Hardy's and Billy & Chuck. There are a lot of very close falls at the end. Billy & Chuck retain the titles. (8/10)
8. THE ROCK (VS) HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN
Best match of the night. Best match of the year. One of the greates matches of all time. You will probably never see another emotionally charged match that will compare to this one. The crowd was crazy in this match. It was a surprise when The Rock was booed. He played to the crowd so well. There are so many close falls after each competitor kicks out of each other's finisher. It looks like Hogan is going win, but The Rock kicks out of the Leg Drop!! The Rock wins after delivering the People's Elbow. The Rock helps Hogan after the match when Hogan is attacked by the NWO. They stay in the ring and pose and applaud each other after the match. Amazing. (10/10)
9. JAZZ (VS) TRISH STRATUS (VS) LITA (WOMEN'S TITLE/TRIPLE THREAT)
It was pretty entertaining for a Women's match. Nothing too spectacular. Jazz wins it. (7/10)
10. TRIPLE H (VS) CHRIS JERICHO (UNDISPUTED)
This was a very disappointing match. It could have been so much better. It was still a pretty good match. Jericho backdrops Triple H from one table to the next. This was a good move. After this Y2J just works on Triple H's quad for about ten minutes. Very boring. The end is good. Triple H hits the Pedigree on Stephanie and Jericho proceeds by hitting Triple H in the head with a chair. Triple H hits the Pedigree on Jericho after Jericho jumps off the second rope. Triple H gets the 1-2-3 to become new champ. (7.5/10) EXTRAS
There are a lot of favorite and greatest moments. The next night on RAW segment is very good. Overall, this was a decent show. It would have been really good for a regular PPV, but this was Wrestlemania. Still, I recommend this DVD for purchase.

Good opener for a WrestleMania.Regal goes for brass knucks early but RVD kicks them outside the ring. Regal goes for a second pair of knucks but RVD spin kicks them off. Then hits Regal with the Five-Star Frog Splash 8/10 European title
Diamond Dallas Page (c) vs. Christain
No hype but still decent. Back and forth match-up. DDP hits Diamond Cutter for the win. DDP then provokes Christian after the match which leads to another Christain tantrum. 7/10 Hardcore title
Maven (c) vs. Goldust
Maven has improved but he did not get much offense as Goldust beats the living daylights out of him from the opening bell. Maven and Goldust KO each other and Spike Dudley covers Maven to win the Hardcore title. 5/10 Kane vs. Kurt Angle
Angle makes fun of the way the Canadian Olympic figure-skaters "won" those medals. Angle steals Benoit's multiple German suplexs. Not that great of a match but it was ok. Kurt focuses on Kane's neck. Angle wins after he uses the ropes for extra leverage. 6/10 No DQ.
The Undertaker vs. Ric Flair
Awesome match. Both of them just beat the daylights out of each other. Undertaker counters the figure four into a Chokeslam. Arn Anderson interferes and gives Taker a Spinebuster but Undertaker kicks out. UT attemps the Last Ride,Flair gets out but he didn't escape the Tombstone Piledriver. 9/10 .9 for the Tombstone Piledriver. It is better than the Last Ride Powerbomb. So my official rating is 9.9/10. Steve Austin vs. Scott Hall w/Kevin Nash
Kevin Nash is billed on the back of the DVD Case as the "Special enforcer". Howard Finkle didn't announce him as the enforcer. He just said"To be accompanied by fellow NWO member Kevin Nash, Scott Hall" Anyways, the match itself was an all-out-brawl. Austin was stuck in the middle of Wrestle Mania 18. Nash rutinely interferes and he is finally sent back. Lots of Stunners. Austin wins with two stunners. 7/10 Booker T. vs. Edge
Good match bad story. Edge beat Booker T. out of a Japanese shampoo endorsement. Edge kicks out of the Sciscors Kick and gives Book the Edgecution for the three count. 7.5/10 Four team elimanation match
Tag Team Titles
Dudley Boyz vs. the APA vs. the Hardy Boyz vs. Billy and Chuck(c)
Not bad. APA get eliminated first. Dudleyz and Hardyz just beat each other up while Billy and Chuck watch on the apron. Dudleyz are next to go. Chuck hits Jeff with one of the tag team titles to get the win. 7/10 Icon vs. Icon
Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock
Great match. Rock gets booed while Hogan gets cheered. Hogan kicks out of the Rock Bottom. He Hulks up on Rock with the fans behind him. Hogan gets the Big Boot and the Immortal Leg Drop. Rock kicks out. It takes two more Rock Bottoms and the Peoples Elbow to get the fans back on his side and the win.10/10 Triple Treat match
Woman's Title
Jazz(c) vs. Trish Stratus vs. Lita
One of the better Divas matches I have seen. Jazz gets double teamed. A lot of pinnfall interuptions. Jazz knocks Trish out of the ring and gets Lita with a Top-Rope Fisherman Suplex. 7.5/10 WWE undisputed title
Chris Jericho (c)w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. Triple H
Mostly about Triple H geting revenge on his ex-wife than getting the Undisputed title. Jericho focuses on Hunter's legs and back setting him up for the Walls Of Jericho. Gets him in it but Hunter gets to the ropes. Barely gets the Pedigree and the victory on Jericho. Hunter also gives his ex-wife the Pedigree.
7/10 Why was Jericho in the main event at Wrestle Mania? He is not yet ready to main event the Showcase of the immortals. I would rather see Kurt Angle vs. Triple H in the main event. Unlike Jericho, Kurt Angle has more talent, the better wrestler and Angle has Olympic Gold. Plus Jericho has never beaten Kurt Angle. Triple H has. Hurricane pins Spike Dudley. Mighty Molly pins Hurricane. Christain pins Molly and Maven pins Christain to regain the Hardcore title and steals Christain's cab out of the building.

Summary: Possibly The Most Overrated Wrestlemania I Have Ever Seen
Review: From Top To Bottom Wrestlemania 18 was not bad in any way. Sure the hype was there but I don't know why the WWF/WWE invested so much time on old wrestlers coming back. I really think as of today wrestling is not as domininat as before I ,and feel Wrestlemania 18 has something to do with it. Bringing back the old, overated washed up has been hollywood Hulk Hogan to face the rock was did bring a lot of hype but was a big mistake to for the WWF/WWE. This match which was Supposed to be one for the ages was actually not a bad match but it took a long way to get there and both men took so much time staring at each other throughout the match. Personally I did not care who won the match but scripting the rock to win was the right thing to do, since hogan was so slow and washed uo and had not wrestled for several years. The original plan was having Stone Cold wrestle Hollywood Hulk Hogan, but Stone Cold refused which I am glad he did because Austin felt Hogan was a waste of his time which he would have been if they fought. As for Austin's Match, it was a disgrace to put the greatest wrestler ever up against Scott Hall. No Scott Hall does not [...] but to make him fight against Austin as a midcard not Title Match was plain stupid. No wonder why Austin was so angry at the WWF/WWE. Austin Should Have been fighting someone like Triple H, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle Or the Undertaker in a Title Match and a Main Event Type of match. Speaking of the Undertaker his fight with Ric Flair was nice and bloody and a decent match but Flair who is a better techinal wrestler than hogan was kind of old to be fighting. Other Matches were mostly all subpar including the Women's title match, Rob Van Dam Vs. William Regal for the IC Title and Christian Vs. DDP for the European Title. Kurt Angle Vs. Kane was a very good match. I would have liked to see Kane get the Win but did not have a big problem with Angle winning. As far as the main event was concerned, Chris Jericho Vs. Triple H was just OK. I really wanted Jericho to win but they never make the bad guy win in a Wrestlemania main event when to men are wrestling. Overall Wrestlemania 18 was ok but there was too much hype for this subpar Wrestlemania.
