Summary: A very nice DVD but quite dissopointing in some areas too.
Review: Well after searching ...and not finding anything.I ordered It from amazon.com And now have It. The quality of the video in the DVD was pretty nice.I'd never seen the PPV originally so It was pretty nice finally seeing the Hogan Vs rock match. You all know the usual about the PPV,so I'll talk about the Extras: #1-Optional PPV dubs for french and spanish

#14-Post-match comments Pros:Just about everything was great,or at least to be expected.Like the Warrior Vs hogan match is complete from the opening entrances to the very end.LOL Warrior looked weird by the way,that hair made him look like a neaththal. Cons:Now this is a MAJOR dissopointment!! On the extra where Hogan makes his first raw appearence and the match for Wrestlemania is set up.....It cuts out right at the point when rock is raiseing his arm to the crowd after rock bottoming hogan!!! Right almost near the part where nash&hall show up,It just cuts off.That royally s**ks!!! as the whole hogan/nash/hall beatdown was all part of the hyping and making of the WM match,as well as a part of history leading up to WM. And then the second dissopointment-The next night on raw footage after WM,It shows everything up until the point where hogan rips off the nWo shirt,the It ends. ... Overall,the DVD is okay.But those negative points I listed above were a HUGE dissopointment.It kept the DVD from being perfect.That kept me from giving the DVD 5 stars.

Review: OK, THIS IS NOT THE BEST WRESTLEMANIA EVER, IN MY OPINION WM14 IS STILL THE BEST! BUT THIS HAS SOME QUALITY MATCHES, ROCK VS. HOGAN, AUSTIN VS. HALL (5 STUNNERS....WHAT?) AND HHH VS JERICHO!

Summary: WWF WrestleMania X8
Review: 68,000 fans at the SkyDome witnessed a history making event! This WrestleMania is by far the greatest WWF event in history! This pay-per-view surpasses every one before it. The performances by Saliva and Drowning Pool were also entertaing. Here are the outstanding matches of WrestleMania X8. (Matches are out of 10 stars.) WWF Intercontinental Championship Match:
Rob Van Dam def. William Regal This was a great opening match to WrestleMania. This is William Regal's best match in the WWF. This was a very fast-paced high impact match. RVD landed on his head after a Double-Arm Hooked Suplex! Regal went for the knux, but Van Dam kicked them out of his hand. In the end Mr. Pay-Per-View hit his Five Star Frongsplash to get the victory and become the new WWF IC Champion. 6/10 WWF European Championship Match:
DDP def. Christian This match was nothing special. In the end Page hit a Diamond Cutter and got the victory to retain his belt. Chrstian also threw a fit. 1/10 WWF Hardcore Championship Match:
Maven def. Christian This match was origionally Goldust vs. Maven, but Crash Holly won the belt followed by the Hurricane because of the 24-7 rule! later Molly Holly would be the first women to win the Hardcore Championship, but would be pinned by Christian. When Christian went to get in his car Maven came from behind and pinned Christian to and left with the gold in Chrisitan's car! 3/10 Kurt Angle def. Kane This was a pretty good match. Angle dominated most of the match with plenty of picture perfect suplexes. The match was kind of long though. In the end Kurt used the ropes to pick up the victory over the Big Red Machine. 5/10 No Disqualification Match:
Undertaker def. Ric Flair The first of the four main events was the third best match of the whole event. This match was probably Flair's greatest match as well as the Undertaker's second. Undertaker vs. Triple H match at the previous WrestleMania in the AstroDome last year was his first. The two WWF legends put on a brutal show for the Toronto fans. Flair was busted open as well as the Dead Man in this match. Flair recieved a huge superplex from the top rope! Arn Anderson also got involved and hit a Spinebuster on the Undertaker, but paid for it. The Figure Four could not even put away the Dead Man as the Undertaker hit a Tombstone Pildriver for his tenth victory at WrestleMania. 8/10 Edge def. Booker T. A fair match, but a good effort by the two. Edge hit the DDT to get the victory in his home town. 4/10 Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Scott Hall Austin and Hall put up a nice brawl in the second main event at this historic event. Austin hoped to end the nWo member's poison on this very night. Keven Nash came to the ring with Hall and interfiered, but got a Stunner for his troubles. It took two Stunners to put Hall away in this intense match. 7/10 WWF Tag Team Championship Four-Way Elimination Match:
Billy & Chuck def. Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz, and APA The match for the Tag Team gold was way too long! The APA was the first to be eliminated from the bout. The Hardyz and Dudleyz then brawled, but it was not enough to save the match. The Dudleyz were then taken out of the match followed by the Hardyz. 2/10 The Rock def. Hollywood Hulk Hogan Both men got a strong reaction, but the crowd was cleary behind Hogan in the seond best match of the ppv and third main event of the night. The two started off with tests of strength and then the match intensified. Hogan tried everything from biting to belt whipping to Rock Bottoming to put the Great One away, but failed. The Rocked finally ended it with a People's Elbow. After the match Hogan shook the Rock's hand. The Outsiders came to the ring an attacked Hogan, but the Rock came back to help his idle as the two left together. 10/10 WWF Women's Championship Triple Threat Match:
Jazz def. Trish Stratus and Lita Probably the greatest Women's Championship Match ever. This was pretty entertaing. In the end of this match Trish strattles the pole and Lita strattled the turnbuckle, allowing Jazz to his a huge Fisherman's Suplex to pick up the win. 4/10 Undisputed World Wrestling Federation Championship Match:
Triple H def. Chris Jericho The last main event of the night and the greatest main event in WrestleMania history took place at WrestleMania X8. Throughout the match the main focus of Y2J was The Game's quad. Triple H finally got revenge by Pedigreeing Stephanie McMahon and then doing the same to Jericho to win the most covetted price in the World Wrestling Federation. 10/10 This was the greatest WWF WrestleMania by far and you need to experience it on VHS or DVD of maybe both! If there was only one WWF event you could have it would have to be this one, buy it today!

Summary: Good Wrestlemania, not the best
Review: This Wrestlemania is definately buy-able, but it was not the best PPV of the year. Regal vs Van Dam-Good starter match. However their styles and techniques differ too much to have a great super match. ** 1/2 DDP vs Christian- GOod story line behind this match and DDP is an underrated wrestler. *** Golddust vs Maven- Maven is a great wrestler and he shows it in this match. They both wrestle good together. Plus this match really goes thru the whole nite. *** 1/2 Kane vs Angle- Great match! This is a heavy hitting match with lots of impact! **** Flair vs Taker- GOOD! Flair is north of 50 and he is still a great wrestler. Lots of blood in this match and lots of action. **** Edge vs Booker T- Probably the worst match. Cmon...this match is all over shampoo ** Stone Cold vs Hall (and Nash)One of the best matches on the PPV. This has a GREAT and exciting ending! **** 1/2 Tag Team Elimination-OK. Lots of action, but kind of long. ** 1/2 Rock vs Hogan-Not what i expected. It was an old school match with not much action. However this was very historical and emotional. If this the rock and hogan werent fighting in this match itd [stink], but since they were in the ring it gets a **** Jericho vs HHH- Doesnt deserve to be the main event match. However it wasnt bad. This is probably Jericho's best performance but he is not the best champion. ***

Review: Ok well it wasn't THE best mania ever, but it was one of the better ones... RVD/REGAL: This was an exceptional match between both of these guys, lot's of the usual high spots from RVD and great mat work from REGAL. 5 stars!! DDP/CHRISTIAN: Good match, kind of short, but well worth watching. both guys worked hard and gave a solid performance. 4 stars MAVEN/GOLDUST: Well I hate WWF hardcore matches, just because I was a huge ECW fan, but it was a fun match to watch (throughout the entire ppv) Last years hardcore title match was 1000000 times better, I miss rhyno!!!! 2 stars KURT ANGLE/KANE: This was soo much better than what I expected. Kane is obviously showing more talent as the day's go by, great match! 4 stars UNDERTAKER/FLAIR: All I can say is OWE!!! This was not a pretty match at all, very stiff! Flair is a legend, too bad getting old slows you down, totally one sided, watch Flair get dominated by "no sell taker" and then dump flair ontop of his head!!!! 5 stars (VERY STIFF) EDGE/BOOKER T: dumb storyline for this match, but good match anyway. (wasn't Booker WCW world heavyweight champ? and if so, why is he a curtain jerker on RAW? he was robbed just like the money he stole from the Wendy's resturant he worked at before he was pro,lol) 4 stars HALL/AUSTIN: This was a decent match from these two veterans, quite slow, I love the "over sell" hall did when he got stunned hahaha. 4 stars Tag Team Elimination match
BILLY & CHUCK/DUDLEY's/APA/HARDY's: great match, well worth watching. ****This would be the final PPV match the DUDLEY's would ever be in as a tag team thanks to the roster split**** anyway you will see great action by all these teams and a HUGE bump by D-VON from the top rope to the outside through a table to the floor!!!! 5 stars HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN/ROCK: The build up to this match was weak in comparison to the match itself!! WOW I still get goose bumps just remebering it. if you thought the chants were loud from your speakers at home, just think how loud it was live!! I loved every minute of this match, I stood up the entire time as everyone else did in Skydome. WOW 10 stars JAZZ/LITA/TRISH: this was a good match, hard to follow HOGAN/ROCK, but they did great. (JAZZ need sto start wrestling men like she did in ECW since she owns every woman in the WWF)4 stars JERICHO with stephanie/HHH: not a bad match, great work by both of these guys, but it could have been better. 4 stars

Summary: Wrestlemania X-8: ICON VS ICON
Review: Not since the classic Doffin vs Johnner match has there been a bigger match.... Hulk Hogan vs The Rock. If the WWF had played their cards right that night... they would've changed it to Hogan winning after hearing the crowds' reaction for him. Clearly no torch was passed cause The Rock goes off to Hollywood for more movies and the fans still love Hogan. 1. Rock didn't carry Hogan in the match. 2. Fans loved Hogan. 3. Watch the footage if you are in denial. The fans dictate who lives and dies and they certainly showed that Hulkamania will live forever. So for Hogan to take the spotlight again... darn right he deserves it... cause that's what the fans wanted. The DVD itself will carry plenty of special features like the initial RAW encounter with Hogan and Rock as well as other goods and the night after Mania. As far as it being the best Wrestlemania ever... well there have been better cards put together in the past... the matches @Wrestlemania X-8... it seemed you saw them on RAW during the previous month like Greg and Uncle Chester did. All-time best Wrestlemania could be X-7. 18 is good but it's not the greatest, my God, my God!!!!

Review: RVD vs William Regal: RVD wins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!4.5/5 DDP vs Christian: Good Match between 2 good workers : 3.5/5 Harcore Title: The match was horrible but it get a 1.5 because of the backstage stuff 1.5/5 Kane vs Kurt Angle: The match was good but the ending prevented from a beter rating 3/5 Ric Flair vs Undertaker: Undertaker 10-0 baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5/5 Edge vs Booker T: I really like this match for some reason. Maybe its just beacuse these are 2 of my favorite wrestlers4.5/5 Stone Cold vs Scott Hall: Neither men looked like they were trying their best but still oks 3/5 Tag Titles: Good Tag Match. Not as good a the ladder match at WM2000 & TLC at WM17 but is was good 3.5/5
Rock vs Hogan: Best Match of the night!!!!!! Maybe the best match ever. The fans were as loud as I have ever saw them. 5/5
Jazz vs Trish vs Lita: The ,atch was some what entertaing it actully didnt out me 2 sleep 2.5/5 HHH vs Jericho: Not the best Main event should have been Hogan vs Rock. Back to the match Thats match was good but it was to predictable. It would have got a 3 stars but because HHH won i gave it a 4 4/5 The ppv was good but the dvd extras are good also

Summary: I gave up watching wrestling because of this....
Review: This card is the highlight film of what is wrong with the WWF today. Being a fan of the likes of Chris Benoit - this "show" made me sick to my stomach. Hogan should have stayed retired - and done the world a favor. ... I had no problems with the other matches on the card - but to see Hogan again taking the spotlight, knocked this rating down several stars.... ... Nothing the Rock could've done, would've saved things. Not even a miracle worker like Benoit would be able to restore life into Hogan's tired act.

Summary: Can WrestleMania X8 live up to WrestleMania X7?
Review: WrestleMania X8's DVD comes out April 30th, but most WWF DVDs are about the Matches not the Extras, but here is my review of a wannabe greatest WrestleMania ever with not much build up like Surivor Series 2001 we'll see if it can take the pressure.... The stage looked messed up but I got use to it and it finally looked cool, the pyro was good but not great... The bands (Drowning Pool, Saliva) Performed very poorly at WrestleMania, the music and the sound [stunk] maybe they just [stink]acousticly or something but compared to their singing on cd they just hit RockBottom! 1)WWF InterContinental Championship William Regal (c) vs Rob Van Dam-3/5 This match was good but could have been better because it was too short, SummerSlam 2001 had the same problem with a few matches, some good spots but Rob Van Dam didn't have any big highlights I expected much more but another decent opener, atleast RVD wins! 2)WWF European Championship DDP(c) vs Christian-2/5 This was the second worst match of the night, this match was pointless and should have been a Heat match but this really blew and DDP's gimmick is getting old just as he is too... 3)WWF Hardcore Championship MaVeN(c) vs Goldust-2&1/2-This was the third worst match of the night MaVen was getting his [rear] whooped until the ending shots and Spike comes in and wins it, then Hurricane then Molly then Christian and finally who? Maven this was just lame and the 24/7 rule [stinks] too, it was better when RVD was the champ with longer title reigns..... 4) Kane vs Kurt Angle-4/5-This was bringing back that WrestleMania momentum, this match had great spots and nice technicality, but then the ending was horrible thats why I bumped this down to a 4 instead of a 5 Kurt wins two straight years in a row using the [darn] ropes, wow isn't that quite original... 5)Undertaker vs Ric Flair-5/5- Fianlly a great match I think this was the underdog of the card, but it prooved to be the second best of the night excpet for one spot with Flair hitting Undertaker with the pipe which was horrible, the spinebuster by Arn Anderson was awsome and Undertaker finishes off Flair with the tombstone, sweet match! 6)Scott Hall vs Stone Cold Steve Austin-1/5-This was the worst match of the night and arguably the worst match of any of these mens careers, this was not wrestling this was just a slopfest, 6 stunners in the match and unless you like to see a punch kick and stunner every 30 seconds then this match [stunk] so bad I really would have counted DDP vs Christian as the worst but this had no wrestling this looked like Richard Simmons vs Fred Durst on FOX Celebrity Boxing or something.... 7)WWF Tag Team Championships 4-way elimination match Billy and Chuck(c) vs Hardyz vs Dudleyz vs APA-2/5 What the hek is this? If I wanted to see the most boring tag team match at a WM ever I'd watch Owne and Jarret vs D'Lo and Singh at WM XV, come on APA gets eliminated first that [stinks], this was bordum all the way and they had one big spot and thats D-Von falling through the table c'mon thats 1 one trillionth of what they did last year I was looking forward to this but this was a dissapointment, nothing but borudm for 25 minutes! 8) Edge vs Booker T-3/5-This was expected be to be good I mean a 5 time wCw Champ vs the breakout star of the year Edge (IMO) This was going well until the spots were done terribly, Edge's hurracanrana was really bad, the worst in years, the only good part of this match was the ending, Booker T is wrestling Edge but he has like what 5 moves wow! Not a good match up, Kurt vs Edge would have been WAY better the KOR re-match oh yeah! 9)Best Ever Icon vs Icon The Rock vs "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan-100/5- This had it all the hype the advertising and fianlly the match! This match was GREAT I mean I was in depth with the whole match all the way, Hogan a legend vs The Rock the next Hulk Hogan of wrestling, this went all the way it used all the potential and had it all, not very much wrestling but crowd entertainment and the crowd reaction was incerdible this was the best EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER match of a WrestleMania of all-time this match was for the ages and will never be forgotten! Watcha Ya Gunna Do When Rock and Hogan Bring It? 10) WWF Womens Championship Triple Threat Lita vs Jazz(c) vs Trish-3/5- This was a good match until the last three minutes I was expecting Trish to win but nope Jazz had won it with a superplex? A superplex? WASSUP WIT DAT? This was total bs the womens division was better than ever and then they had to screw it up, bets womens title match ever was at Survivor Series 2001! 11)WWF Undisputed Championship Chris Jericho(c) w/ SMH vs Triple H-2&1/2 /5- This match looked more like a Stephannie vs HHH match, Jericho wasn't in it except that he had the title, this match was all HHH's quad and was boring as hek to watch I almost fell asleep 1/3 of the crowd letf during this match! Probably the worst WrestleMania main event since Bam Bam Bigelo vs LT! The only good spot was Stephannie getting pedigreed! This match didn't deliever and never should have been the main event.... Overall I gave this a 3/5 just because of Undertaker vs Flair Angle vs Kane and oh yea The Rock vs Hogan, the best match there is was and ever will be, what was wrong? WrestleMania X8's matches were basically RAW or SMACKDOWN matches just lengthented up and with horiible endings I hope the DVD extras will boost this DVD up but this is a buy for hisotrical value and of course the whole Wrestle Mania series! Whooooooooo!!
