Summary: THE BEST DAMN WRESTLING DVD...PERIOD
Review: I just got this DVD last night and I'll tell you it is magnificent! All of the matches I remember as a kid are on here as well as some matches that I've never seen before! It is great! I especially enjoyed seeing the "Puerto Rican Downpour" where he fought Big John Studd and they were slipping and sliding all over the ring! It was hilarious! Also, the WWWF match(Hogan's WWE Debut) in my mind was like deja vu. He fought Ted DiBiase in his debut match. But, anyone who is either a true Hogan fan or a diehard wrestling fan would know that Hogan and DiBiase actually fought in a feud in the late 1980's when DiBiase "bought" Andre The Giant's services to win the WWF belt from Hogan on The Main Event February 5,1988.Then, Andre presented the belt to DiBiase and that's what led up to the WWF World Championship tournament at Wrestlemania IV! Then,Hogan helped Randy Savage win the title with a chair shot to DiBiase's back while the referee was distracted. Isn't that a coincidence or what? The bonus features are what make this THE best wrestling DVD along with the superb documentary! If you have a choice, get the DVD version instead of that ... VHS version! I hope they have more DVD's like this in the future!

Review: Yo Hulkamaniacs! This is the best wrestling DVD I've ever bought!
WWE deserve big thumbs up for putting this double DVD tribute to the Hulkster together.
These DVDs contain a 1 hour long feature, and 5 hours of extras!
The feature is cool, it sums up the career of the Hulkster, emphasizing his 80's run in WWE, and his comeback in 2002.
The extras are truly awesome! We get full matches and promos of the Hulkster, against greats such as Andre the giant, Roddy Piper, The Undertaker and Mr. Perfect, plus Hogan's first match in WWE then known as World Wide Wrestling Federation.
The promos are cool, Hulk teaching Vince McMahon, Mean Gene Okerlund and Lord Alfred Hayes to train hard, take their vitamins and say their prayers!
I urge every wrestling fan to buy this DVD, it is a definite must for wrestling fans and Hulkamaniacs!
And watcha gonna do when this double DVD of the Hulkster runs wild on you?! BROTHERRRR!!

Summary: Almost Perfect
Review: Hulk still rules is one of the greatest wrestling video compilations of all time. If you are a long time fan, The DVD version is the one to see. If you are a new fan and want to see where "sports entertainment" started. This DVD is for you. There is 6 hours of footage available on two DVD's. The WWE did a good job of putting this all together. This DVD is great but it could and should have been better. When you compare this to other DVD's. This one is clearly the best but I feel like The WWE left some crucial stuff out that should have been included in this DVD. There is a PPV out there for Hulk Rules that is only an hour and a half long but they have two Hogan vs Orndorff matches in their entirety that are not on The DVD. I was hoping that The Hogan vs Orndorff cage match would be inculded but it wasn't. All of Hogan's wrestlemania matches except Hogan vs Andre are not on the two discs. Which, I guess, The WWE made as a business decision to get people to buy The Manias seperately. The extras are great, there is some stuff like Hogan vs Andre at shea stadium and Hogan's pre-hulkamania stuff that you can't get anywhere else. But this DVD should have had atleast Hogan vs Piper on MTV, The "war to settle the score." The first Summerslam main event was also left out. I may be getting a little picky here but you only get one chance to deliver an important wrestling history piece like this and The WWE left some stuff out that should have been in. The DVD would have been perfect with a few extra additions. One thing is for sure, The WWE needs to have more DVD's like this. Guys like Piper, Savage need to have DVD's like this dedicated to their careers. I specifically want to see a best of Saturday Night's Main Event. The show that started it all.

Summary: WWE Hollywood Hulk Hogan Hulk still rules
Review: Unfortunately you can only give an item 5 stars, this is a 20 on a 5 point scale. A better selection of matches could not have been assembled to encapsulate HULKAMANIA, the John Studd match in Puerto Rico is worth the price alone as is Hulk's 1979 debute for the WWWF. This 2 disc dvd set is packed--the volume makes this a great value. Hopefully this will be a beginning for a ledgends series: Ric Flair, The Road Warriors, AA, Andre, Sgt. Slaughter, Terry Funk--get to work Vince and thank you for a great DVD set. HULKAMANIA 4 life.

Summary: Check it out - surprisingly good
Review: I was given this DVD as a gift, and it was one I never would've bought myself. As such, I let it sit around for a while. I assumed it would be a 3-hour-long music video tribute to a man whose ego is already the largest in the world.I'm glad I finally checked it out. This is not purely a tribute; it's also a behind-the-scenes view of Hulk's career, and a good one at that. The interviews with Hogan are real (i.e. out of character) and entertaining. Ever wonder what he really felt about Paul Orndorff? Randy Savage? Andre? You'll find out here. Also, the extras are particularly good. I knew that Hulk had fought Andre years before the supposed "first meeting" at Wrestlemania III. I did NOT know that Hulk body slammed Andre in that match as well. (He lost anyway.) Also, a lot of these matches will take you back to a time before wrestling was the polished "sports entertainment" you see today. Those of us who still liked wrestling when it was being performed in high school gyms and rinky-dink outdoor fairgrounds will get a little misty-eyed as we watch some of Hulk's early TV tapings. This DVD isn't the greatest entertainment in the world, but if you enjoy wrestling, you'll probably enjoy it a lot, even if you (like me) aren't a tremendous fan of Hogan's.

Review: This is a little look at the Hulk Still Rules dvd. This is gr-8 for the Hulkamaniacs out there, including myself. This awesome dvd has a ton of really good action, including the full WM3 epic battle, the NWO, and some interesting WCW footage as well. Watch mean gene learns the ropes, I nearly fell out of my seat laughing at poor mean gene. The documentery was great, that is if ya like hogan. The dvd shows some highlights of WM18 and backlash 2002. It also has the rock challenging hogan to the ICON VS ICON clash at Wrestlemania X8, my personal favorite. So, if you like hogan I got 2 words to say to you, "GET IT".

Summary: Incredible DVD - Now please bring on a 2+ Ric Flair DVD set!
Review: This DVD really delivers. I'm not going to waste time on the actual matches, and other contents b/c most of the other reviews do a great job with the details.
Wish there was more on the nwo and at least one match with Hogan while he was in the nwo. But, the WWE did just put out an nwo dvd.
Also, wish there were more of his Wrestlemania matches on here. It seems like they are reluctant in releasing those matches b/c they don't want you not to have a reason to buy the Wrestlemania tapes and dvds.
Overall, this dvd rocks. Now if only a 2 DVD set (or more) of Ric Flair largely of NWA, WCW footage would be released. Hopefully they will b/c it would be a top seller for the WWE.

Review: Okay, so I'm biased, since I was at "Tuesday in Texas," where the Hulkster took the belt back from the Undertaker. Still haven't spotted myself in that crowd, though. I almost knocked off a star for the DVD missing Hogan-Macho from Wrestlemania V, but I'm sure they'll put it on something else. WWE should put out more of these big retrospectives. Hogan is indeed the Babe Ruth of wrestling, but there are still plenty of other legends deserving of the two-disc treatment. Here's a few: Andre the Giant, Ric Flair, Randy Savage, Roddy Piper, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Ricky Steamboat, Bret Hart. After the success of the Gimmick Battle Royal at Wrestlemania X-Seven, I'm surprised WWE hasn't released a DVD of all-time best gimmicks. Some of those cats were damn good wrestlers, as well. Here's a start: Ravishing Rick Rude, Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Ultimate Warrior, the Mountie, the Big Boss Man, Kamala, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Honky Tonk Man, and the progenitor of gimmickdom, Gorgeous George. (The dude, not the chick.) I'd LOVE to see more of that WCW tape library put to good use. And, finally, WWE should release all those old PPV's on DVD, at a decent price, like they've done with the "Attitude" collection. The old Wrestlemanias, Summerslams, Survivor Series, Royal Rumbles, King of the Rings, all that. WWE's at a crossroads right now, where they can cater either to hardcore, die-hard wrestling fans, or attempt to become trendy again. Please, please, please give us old fans some love. Is that too much to ask? "Hulk Still Rules" should be the beginning of a fantastic run of old-school DVD's. If we all train, say our prayers, take our vitamins and ask really nicely, maybe it'll happen. At any rate, get this DVD. It rules.

Review: This is a really nice DVD.I'd recommend it for any fan of the hulkster.In addition to the normal WWE feature on the hulkster,this DVD set is full of extras such as many cool&classic hogan matches.Like his famous bout against andre the giant.And even matches he had way back before hitting it big in the WWF as Hulk Hogan. If there would ever be a god of wrestling,it would be Hollywood Hulk Hogan brother!
