Summary: Helluva lot better than the other HBK collection
Review: I remember when WWF, yes F, put out a "Best of Shawn Michaels" compilation. Boy did I love HBK, so I had to buy it. And I loved the simple 60-minute VHS, at first. Looking back seven years later, I realize that there was so much more to the Showstopper, the REAL highlight of the night. That video had 4 matches - the incredible '95 SummerSlam IC title ladder match against Razor Ramon (best of tape, by far - but it started almost midway through the match and it cut some of the rest out to save time), a Monday Night Raw match the next year in Feb. vs. Yokozuna (RIP), which was okay. Then was HBK-Tatanka from the day before on Superstars, and it seemed out of place (because it was out of chronological order - J.R. was talking about the HUGE match against Yokozuna the next night). Finally was the no. 1 contender match for WM 12 against Owen Hart, an above average match but not near what this will offer. At least From the Vault will have the Iron Man match against the real Hart, Bret, as well as the other classics, including the WM 10 ladder match against Razor (which I am so looking forward to seeing again - I rememeber renting it from Blockbuster - big splash off the ladder YES!, as opposed to HBK missing it in the SS match), the first HIAC (HBK shortens his career to entertain the fans), and the incomparable street fight vs. HHH to make his long-awaited return. I really was off when I thought the first HBK collection was greatness. This one, however, won't disappoint.

Review: This is an awesome DVD. the best matches areShawn Michaels vs. Diesel (Kevin Nash)-No Holds Barred..Nash chokes the ... out of Shawn with the ref;s belt...and powerbombs shawn through a table...very rare for the time. This was at Good Friends, Better Enimies-April 1996. Shawn Michaels vs. Mankind-A good match..ended in Disqualification when Mankind suplexed Shawn from the top turnbuckle through the announce table. From Mind Games-August 1996 Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker-Hell in a CEll. A VERY bloody match..Taker dominated the match..Shawn hit the Sweet Chin Music but Taker got right back up. They fought ontop of the cell, where Shawn fell off the cell through the table. Then, Undertaker was going to go for the Tombstone Piledriver...but Kane debuted and ripped the door off the cell..and Tombstoned 'Taker for Shawn to get the win. Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H-Street Fight. A brutal match..every thing from Tables to chairs to ladders to steel chairs were used. The worst part was after Shawn had the win..Triple H hit him in the back with a sledgehammer twice. WWE could have put the Casket Match vs. Undertaker from Royal Rumble 1998, where Shawn was backdropped on the casket and broke his back. This DVD is worth EVERY Penny of the price.

Summary: Great DVD set but theres missing something...
Review: Vader Vs Michaels from SummerSlam. Why wasnt this match included on the set?!? That is one of my favorite matches of all time, not just because its Michaels but because it was a 5 star match IMO. Its a damn shame they didnt put it. Another one they should have added was Sid Vs Michaels from Survivor Series and what about Michaels Vs Austin from Wrestlemania 14, I thought that was a great match with a spectacular performance from michaels considering he had a career ending injury. Another one they should have added was HBK & Austin Vs Bulldog and Owen from RAW. This DVD doesnt offer anything I havent already seen, its very good for the casual fan though. Michaels Vs Ramon Ladder match: This match put Michaels on the map. 5 stars out of 5 Michaels Vs Diesel: Good friend better enemies. I actually liked this match better than Michaels Vs Ramon from WM so thats saying a lot. Great drama and Diesel's best match IMO. 5 stars for sure Michaels Vs Mankind: Seen this match online with bad quality picture but I thought is was a hell of a match, hard to get into it though because of the bad quality. Heard great things about it. 4 stars Michaels Vs Bret: The match starts off slow but then a mid way trough, it picks up. Its a very solid match though. 3 stars Michaels VS HHH SummerSlam: great match, excellent match..4 and a half stars.

On of his best matches ever.The match he is famous for.One of my favorite matches from shawn micheals.This match put shawn micheals as a singles star.This match deserves to be on the dvd.

I just love this match.I remember watching this match on pay per view.I wanted shawn micheals to win the title so bad.This match is 1 hour long.Kind of boring.But it is still one of his 5 all time best matches.He lives the boy hood dream for the first time.5 stars out of 5 stars. It is a really good match but why put on this dvd when it already out on dvd (summerslam 2002).Just like the HIAC match.4 stars out of 5 stars.
Overall:It is a average dvd.It is alright for the casual viewer but for diehard fans like me it just isn't good enough.There is matches like for example:The match against vader at summerslam.The match against British Bulldog (R.I.P.) at the king of the ring.How about the Pyscho Sid matches one at survivor series or the royal rumble.How about some more matches when is one-half of the rockers.Or some matches in early days as a singles competior.If you think about it they could have put alot more matches on the dvds.they could have made this a 3-dvd set.I Hope they have a ric flair dvd next.

Review: my problem is the fact that shawn v. mankind and shawn v. taker is already on other dvds. they should put his raw match with owen hart, tag match with shawn/austin v. owen/bulldog, or his match with jarret for the ic title instead.

Summary: Great matches on DVD!
Review: The new HBK dvd is coming out eh. But look at the list of matches. Most of them are timeless classics that we have seen the high spots replayed over and over again. Most of these matches are good for sure (i have seen 5/7 of them). And HBK is a great talent in the ring. But the simple truth is...a true HBK would already have these matches on tape (at least the two wrestlemania ones and the HIAC). Now the opportunity to own them on DVD (in good quality) is different. So really it depends on if you have these matches already or not. If you do, it depends how much of a dvd ... you are...and what kind of extras they put in (Hopefully as much as the Hogan dvd.) SO really the reccomendation is: If you don't own or haven't seen these matches: Must buy
If you do own and maybe want extras: Mild reccomendation (based on the amount of extras the wwe has given it's dvds)

Review: From what I heard this could be one of the best DVD's around based on what the wrestling fans are saying.... To have the HITC vs. UT, the Ironman Match vs. Bret, and the ladder match vs. Razor...those three alone are worth the price of the DVD. I can wait to see the real reviews...it should be 5* Now if they throw in some Diesel matches and some other top notch matches...then look out.
