Rating: Summary: Talk about GOOD! :-) Review: Baby Faith products are simply great. You can't imagine how excited my 3 boys (2,3, & 6) get when I pull out the video of either "God Made Me" or "God Made Animals" and they are enthralled for the full length of the video. The quality and most importantly the message taught to the little ones is something we as Christian parents have been waiting for for a long time ago!
Rating: Summary: This one keeps my little ones entertained. Review: Based on the story of Noah's Ark, this video uses a format similar to the "Baby Einstein" series. There are lots of puppets, telling the story of Noah with favorite hymns reworked to appeal to toddlers. It moves along at a pace that keeps them engaged, but has continuity so they don't become frustrated. I bought this for my 22 month old and my 4 year old sons (the oldest of whom has Autism Spectrum Disorder). They both know the video by heart. As a matter of fact, my 22 month old's first complete sentence was "God loves you," which is repeated several times throughout.
Rating: Summary: mediocre video Review: I think this video is a bit of a knock off of Baby Einstein, but it lacks the vibrant, fast-paced and beautiful images. Actually, I dont find this video developmental in any way...the just show random images on the screen, many of which do not relate to Noah's Ark. My child was not at all interested in this. I recommend either Baby Einstein (if you want a simple, entertaining video) or Baby Miracle (if you want to introduce Bible stories to your baby in an educational way).
Rating: Summary: The story of Noah's Ark for toddlers!!! Review: My 18 month old daughter loves this DVD...with all the wonderful animals and their sounds. The puppets are beautiful, and the music isn't tinny or annoying to my ears!
Jodi Benson hosts again, and does a great job with a very upbeat, joyful attitude coming across.
My daughter has some issues with the glove puppets when they "jack-in-the-box" (my fault..I "gasped" happily, and she didn't understand the "happily" part!) and the animated bible, but she also has an issue with Bob the Tomato, so we cuddle together when those guys come out...other wise she's up and dancing, or running up to touch the screen when the animals come out, and is even starting to mimic their noises.
GREAT way to introduce a clean, clear, biblically based story to young ones!
Rating: Summary: Bible story that's fun for babies! Review: This video is just as much fun, if not more, than their first one, God Made Me. God Made Animals has lots of songs, teaching elements (each animal is identified with it's sound) and animal puppets that are doing silly things while the narrator (I think it's Jodi Benson - isn't she the little mermaid from Disney?!!)tells a very basic story of Noah and the ark. Great for little ones to grasp the concept. There is an old Noah puppet that keeps loading all of the animals into the ark until they all get on and it starts raining. And my baby especially loves the hand puppets throughout the show. God Made Animals is very imaginative and fun for babies.
Rating: Summary: Better than God Made Me! Review: This was very entertaining and more of an attention getter than God Made Me for my boy. He loves the puppet shows and I am impressed with the creativity in bringing the story of Noah's Ark to life for my child. Great colors!!
Rating: Summary: God Made Animals - and noises for them too! Review: Wow! I can't believe the way my babies have responded to these Baby Faith videos! God Made Animals teaches the various animals sounds to the youngest while the middle one laughs at the silly puppet shows (like the elephant chasing the peanut all over! or the frog eating the watermelon!). Very creative and with a twist - basic bible content; "God Loves You!" It's a keeper in my book! (BTW-There are corresponding books to each video which help support the concepts in the videos when you are reading to your child). A great team! Awesome!
