Rating: Summary: Good Stuff! Review: I have not seen these DVDs, but "Testament: The Bible in Animation" originally aired as a series on HBO back in 1997. It was produced in Wales and Russia by Christmas Films with S4C in association with BBC Wales. The episodes are in English. Every episode was done in a different style of animation and art direction, vascilating between traditional 2D animation and stop motion animation. Although it was produced by a company called Christmas Films, obviously the stories of Moses and Ruth are from the Old Testament and as a Jew, I didn't find them offensive. I cannot remember if I have seen this particular episode, but the story of Ruth is done in stop motion animation and is truly beautiful work.
