Rating: Summary: Avesome! Review: Me and my fiance were the last ones to leave the theater when we watched this. We just couldn't quite leave. It touched my heart.
Rating: Summary: A must see Review: Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Minnie Driver shine in this touching story of a misunderstood youth in the working class section of Boston, Massachusettes. Damon stars as the genius Will, a Harvard janitor, who represses childhood memories of abuse, and settles for stagnating in his working class life, when he could put his talents to use and make a life for himself and girlfriend, Driver. Robin Williams also stars as the man who breaks through Will's shell and makes him realize the that Will can do anything if he would just realize that what happened to him as a child was not his fault. Get out the hankies both men and women!!!!!
Rating: Summary: The most riveting, well done movie of all time. Review: All that needs to be said about Good Will Hunting is that the script is simply excellent. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are superb writers as well as talented actors. Minnie Driver definitely puts in her best preformance since A Circle of Friends, by falling in love with Matt Damon in such a realistic way. Robin Williams also deserves a huge amount of credit for putting Will Hunting's life into perspective like noboby else. We also see an introduction of Ben Affleck's brother, Casey, who plays the little but devoted punk, Morgan. All in all this movie keeps your attetion through smart writing and great acting rather than explosions and sex. I strongly encourage this movie to anyone

Rating: Summary: Dullness, thy name is Good Will Hunting Review: Despite all the hype about Good Will Hunting, I was dissapointed. The movie dragged along and tried to be oh-so-deep-and-witty. The message seemed to be "Don't worry about your own actions, society is at fault." And am I the only one who did *not* think that the 'apples' scene was hilarius?
Rating: Summary: The script is the real star Review: Can a movie still be a phenomenal experience with no special effects, no sex-n-violence, no zillion dollar sets, and no cliched heroics? You bet. The script of this movie should go down in history as one of the best ever written. Every line is perfect, every plot twist at once surprising and poetically inevitable. Anyone who grew up being "too smart"--or who loves Boston and Cambridge--will find this film especially appealing, but anyone who sees this movie will feel deeply for the characters and see life a little differently when it's over.
Rating: Summary: My vote for Best Picture of the year Review: This is a great movie. A great script, great dialogue, delivered intelligently with care. No cheap-shot emotionalism, no car chases, no guns. Excellent performances. My favorite movie of the year. The real beauty in this is the introduction of two new script writers with great talent for dialogue and story-line. More please!
Rating: Summary: One of the most provocative movies ever Review: I loved it. Matt Damon was great. He truly captured was it was to be different, unique. I think everyone could identify with this character. Even if your brilliant - it is possible that you are still not accepted. Robin Williams makes you feel that anything is possible. Best scene '...do you like apples? well I got her number - how do you like them apples?'
Rating: Summary: Great flick Review: If you have not seen this movie yet, you are missing out. I think that the portrayal of the lives of these men in Boston is great. There is not much action or suspense, but the drama of this movie is wonderful. Take my advise, see it!
Rating: Summary: Finest movie I've seen in a long time. Review: In this movie all you usually see is two people in a room talking. But it is one of the most compelling movies I have ever seen. This says a great deal for the script, which is phenomenal. Imagine you have the opportunity to really think of what you want to say in a given situation and to come up with the perfect sentence -- that is what these characters do throughout this movie. Robin Williams' performance is amazing, especially his monologue to Will Hunting in the park. You grow to love these people. It is apparent that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have written a great deal of themselves into this movie because the characters are so true and complete and the depiction of the friendship between Will and Chuckie is so affecting and tangible. The words are stunning. I will watch this movie again and again. END
