Review: THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES!!!!! I THOUGHT MATT DAMON DID A GREAT JOB AS WELL AS EVERYONE ELSE IN THE MOVIE. I ALSO THINK ITS GREAT THAT MATT AND BEN WROTE IT THEMSELVES. ROCK ON TO THEM!!!!!

Summary: One of 1997's best...
Review: Why?... Why only two Oscars out of nine? For those who think it used the word "fu*k" too much, screw you. It was one, if not the best of 1997. Matt Damon sure would have one it if Jack Nicholson hadn't won his well deserved Oscar for As Good As It Gets. I think it should have one for Best Supporting Actress, Minnie Driver. People that live in the slums more than likely do talk like that. So live with it. It's a great movie. The one's who hated it wouldn't know a good movie if they hit it with damn car. I'm in high school. Teenagers cuss a lot. So for the people who hated that it cussed too much... You wouldn't last one day without going crazy if you visited a high school.

Summary: Fabulous Film
Review: Cruising by amazon.com, I only thought it appropriate that I offer some small contribution towards the 'Good Will Hunting' review. This movie is highly inspirational, pertinent to the issues of modern society, and has the inherently warm undertones of any successful film. Questions of the modern day education system are evoked, romance and the strengths construed from loss are touched upon, and juvenile stereotypes are challenged. I could watch this film countless times and ponder the implicit themes without losing interest. It truly made my otherwise monotonous Monday night a joyful experience. Check it out. You'll love it.

Review: I'm sorry if anyone reading this review has been deprived of this movie. I really am. But who I feel even more sorry for are those who saw the movie and didn't ebjoy iy. I'm still yet to figure out why, to be honest. Perhaps they didn't give it a fair chance after they heard a few bad words six times in one sentence. Or maybe they didn't enjoy it because they saw that it starred 2 heart throb and assumed the movie was for those pre-pubescent 12 year old girls who wouldn't know a good movie if it came up and bit them in the tush. Or perhaps they watched 5 or 10 minutes (before the plot actually developed) said 'overrated ' and returned it to the video store. Either way there are people out there who aren't giving this Oscar awarding winning movie the acclaim it so richly deserves. So, if you are one of those people who gave thumbs down to this work of brilliance (for whatever reason) I strongly suggest that you go out and rent this movie again. And this time REALLY watch it.

Summary: Horrific ending
Review: Good Will Hunting is both good and original. But where it is good, it is not original and where it is original, it is not good. The depiction of lower class life and the depiction of the lower class kid's and upper class woman's relationship are good. The psycholgical reformation, specifically the end, is awful and shallow. Do not read on if you have not seen the film "It's not your fault" if you don't understand how the repittion of those words can lead to a break through, because it wouldn't. Also, Will has an abandonment complex; your telling me he wouldn't feel abandoned after his psychotherapist decides to roam the Earth. As Mr. Maltin stated, the film is fun but does not stand scrutiny.

Review: Just a note, which I've posted to a couple other sites: Please be sure to refer to the actor who plays Clark by his stage name, "Scott William Winters". I make this request because I'M Scott Winters! I'm an actor in NYC (currently a regular on Fox's "New York Wired") and I joined Screen Actors Guild first. Actors' names are their trademarks, so when Scott joined SAG, he was required to use his middle name to differentiate us. And while Scott and I are very different types, I have gotten a few casting calls meant for him (no checks so far-rats!), and I'm always nervous about any confusion. Thanks!
