Summary: A MUST EXPERIENCE!
Review: As a practicing psychotherapist and workshop facilitator for more than 25 years, I have recommended many books for improving physical health and emotional well-being, however I have never come across anything like this DVD. It does it all. The carefully chosen music and nature images like the jellyfish and river reflections produce a special meditative state so that natural healing can take place in the mind and body. The value of the CD is that it enhances the effect of the DVD and can be listened to while driving or when falling asleep.Tom Blakeslee has come up with a real ground breaker in the field of health. I recommend this to all of my patients, and they can thank Tom for their significant improvements.

Summary: Boring!
Review: If you're the type that likes to take long car rides and look out the window, or sit for hours and watch the grass grow, then this DVD is for you. The background music is OK, and the 3D is passable (though only on half of the scenes). However, the scenes are boringly repetitious. I was hoping for something similar to the video/music montage seen in the suicide room at the end of Soylent Green. Instead you get scenes like the same school of fish swimming by the screen for 10 minutes. Some may find this relaxing, but I think the majority would find this dull.

Summary: Produces a state of extasy!
Review: If you've ever sat on a beach at sunset while your Walkman plays the perfect music you will understand what this DVD is about. It plays just like a CD, from track one without any FBI notices or animated commercials for the label. Like a CD you can listen to it again and again because there is no talking, just beautiful music. You can sample the music tracks on the Amazon page for the CD soundtrack version.
Eight of the tracks are shot using an amazing 3D technique based on motion. Two pairs of special 3D glasses are included that enhance the effect. You can look at sample 3D video clips on Blakeslee's web site www.attitudefactor.com Thomas Blakeslee's books have been published in 9 languages. His most recent book The Attitude Factor has proof that feelings of pleasure are good for your health. This DVD is his attempt to make it easy to go into a healthy state of pure pleasure. Track 25 features Blakeslee talking about his ideas on pleasure and health.
Tracks 16-24 are nature environments only with no music. The Dolby 5.1 nature sounds and the high-rate digital video makes it feel like you are really there. These environmental tracks will cycle indefinitely to create a background environment. Using the Repeat key on your DVD player you can make one play continually. Like having a waterfall in your living room.

Review: Pure Pleasure is a great way to relax after a hard day's work. Each track is like a mini-vacation that draws you into a blissful feeling of oneness with nature. It plays just like a CD, from track one without the usual FBI notices or animated commercials for the label. Like a CD you can listen to it again and again because there is no talking, just beautiful music. You can sample the music tracks on the Amazon page for the CD soundtrack version. It's also a great background for listening to your own music.

Summary: A Wonderful New Way to Relax and Enjoy Music
Review: The beautiful nature scenes on this DVD create a magical atmosphere for music listening. Though I love the sensual soundtrack, I often let the video run as a background for listening to my other CDs. Some of the tracks are intended as environmental backgrounds and just have nature sounds which surround you if you have Dolby 5.1. I particularly love the "River Reflections" track which looks like an impressionist painting that is alive with rippling motion of the colors. Crickets and birds surround you in sound. Subtle ripples make beautiful effects which are delicate and subtle.
I pity the guy who found this boring as he probably finds nature itself boring unless it is speeded up with quick-cutting and time-lapse effects. This is the damage caused by watching too much TV! This DVD is an excellent way to develop your sensitivity to nature and to calm your nerves as in meditation.
The nine 3D tracks draw you in very nicely to a feeling of oneness with nature but I'm glad there is a mix of tracks as 3D glasses can cause fatigue after a while. The nice thing about the 3D process used here is that you can watch it without the glasses if you like.
I really hope that this is the first of a whole series in this format.

Summary: I LOVE this DVD!!!
Review: This is a wonderful way to enhance the pleasure of listening to music. Like listening on your Walkman in a beautiful place. The music is like background music from a romantic movie..calm yet emotionally intense. I find that I can watch it again and again and still get an emotional high.
My favorite tracks are the amazing Jellyfish Ballet where beautifully lit jellyfish undulate gracefully to the music. I also love River Reflections, which looks like a living impressionist painting with trees and sky reflected in a slow moving river. Tiny details, like ripples from fish feeding from below making circles, hold your interest. Crickets and birds in surround sound make you feel like you're there.
This is the opposite of an MTV video where you are beat over the head with quick-cutting. The more you watch it the more you learn to appreciate the amazing subtleties of uncut nature.
