Rating: Summary: think twice you really need it or not Review: good: -karate value (basic attacker areas, basic techniques, makiwara, kata, some kata explanation etc)neutral-bad: -Black and white film quality (It is poor, but I saw an old 8mm b/w copy once, it was similar. Possible it can't be better. It is very far from dvd quality) -I found the English commentator unusable. (It must be a few mins common historical comment, doesn't fit for film. +English isn't my native languege :) ) -English foot is usable, but there is different spelling now in some word. -Simple packing. -Dvd wasn't in the center of its box, it was fully scratched... -Unreal price/quliaty rate. (and JKA masters of '50s and '70s are just 30min and 45min in same price...) ------------------------ Buy: if you are bit fanatic; if you think masters need to practice basics too; Don't buy: if you think karate is just a collection of punches and kicks; if you want show; etc ------------------------ I vote 4* because I found karate value is better than everything else. ------------------------ Please read a review of ' JKA masters of '50s ', it is very negative, but I agree with it often.
