The instructor featured is well known to me and has been featured in several well known martial art magazines including Black Belt. Guess the reviewer"under the rock" hides there because this person doesn't have a clue. This is a fantastic complete instructional series. I highly recommend this set. If you want to see the style in action check out the UFC on June 19th.

Summary: Whoa! Could there be any more info in this set?
Review: I bought this set and I have been blown away at all of the information contained in this set. Everything from grappling techniques to the basics all shot with some beautiful footage and great explainations as to how the techniques work. Awesome!

Summary: Buyer Beware!
Review: I decided to buy these DVDs because I thought it was a neat idea to have the complete system of classical jujitsu on film. I have a little experience with classical jujitsu but a fairly established knowledge of Shaolin Chin Na which is sort of the same thing.
Unfortunately these DVDs are extremely low quality. The first one I put in didn't play at all. The second one I put in went straight to a fight sequence and then looped it over and over again.
While I obviously can't comment on the overall quality of what is supposed to be on these DVDs the fight sequence that I did see is sad. Maybe I'm used to more fluid movement and solid control, but what I saw on the second Jujitsu DVD was an old fat guy growling, performing unrealistic moves very aggressively but VERY choreographed, meaning it was obvious that these moves wouldn't work against an opponent with half a brain. The best part was the way he disabled an opponent was by using a lock to throw them down and then miraculously they wouldn't get up.
Again, I didn't get to watch this series in completion because the DVDs I received were crap, but I would suggest to anyone who is interested in joint lock techniques to go with Dr.Yang Jwing-Ming's Chin Na In Depth Series. I own them on VHS so I can't say for sure if the DVD quality is any good, but I do know that the information on them is solid and they are performed by someone who knows what he's doing.

Review: The only set of dvd's that could possibly be worth $200 would have to contain the secret to immortality. These are dvd's about jujistu. If you do not mind watching instructional videos about jujitsu marketed by someone (or people) who intend to scam you, then please buy them. Or maybe you are a billionaire and can afford to pay $200 for this mysterious set of discs. I wonder if they have ever sold any of these sets to anyone.

Summary: What are you thinking?Of course it is worth it...
Review: This is a comphrehensive nine volume set(nine hours!) of instructional dvd's on the art of jujitsu....of course it is worth it. This set contains the entire system of Shorinji Ryu jujitsu from a respected,well known master. It is a goldmine for those of us who want to learn this art to black belt level. It is complete and explained very clearly. If you want to learn an entire system and have a set of dvd's to refer to over and over again...this set is for you. I found my investment has paid off ten fold with the techniques I have learned in just the first three DVd,s. I have much more training to do however,(six more DVD,s to learn by) can't wait to become skilled in the more advanced aspects of Jujitsu s as they revealed on the the remaining dvds in the set.

think it could. You want to know Jujitsu, then I highly recommend you buy
this set. Very good presentation, highly informative and the best techniques
I've ever seen.
